The home: A 1970s weatherboard twostorey home in Eltham, on Melbourne's eastern suburban fringe.
Who lives here? Poppy Lane and Scotty Gibson, of furniture and homewares brand Pop & Scott, with their children, three-year-old Frida Jean and fivemonth-old Lou Bird, and cat, "The Honz".
What we did: "We rent our home, so we haven't made any major changes," says Poppy. "I do think that even if your space is rented, there is a lot you can do with furniture, plants and small shelving to make it your own."
Our favourite room: "Our house is like our own life-sized tree house. It's essentially two rooms: downstairs is the living, kitchen and dining, and upstairs holds the bedrooms.
Our favourite spot: Our large daybed. It's surrounded by floor to ceiling windows which make it feel like you are nestled in the garden, and our beautiful baby Lou was born there so it's a pretty special spot."
The 'hood': "We love living just far enough out of town to feel like we're in the bush and close enough to be able to get to work in 20 minutes – we really feel like we've got the best of both worlds."
Future plans: "We plan to live here for as long as we can and we would love to buy this house if we could." Best advice "Keep your home full of things you love and are functional, then add plants to help clean the air and add life."
