Top 10 things to do at Noosa Food & Wine 2016

1) Surfers vs Chefs breakfast hosted by taste.com.au

Head down to the beach on Sunday morning to watch as guest chefs including Pete Evans, Peter Kuruvita, Andreas Nielsen, Ben O'Donoghue and Samantha Gowing take to the water to compete against surfing professionals. While our versatile foodies catch the waves, enjoy a pilates class, brilliant breakfast and an auction in support of SurfAid.

2) Spanish fiesta

Rococo Noosa has teamed up with Frank Camorra from MoVida Melbourne to bring the flavours of Spain to Noosa Main Beach. Enjoy Spanish delights from tapas to paella as the party progresses into the night.

3) The Paleo Way

Enjoy a welcome drink, a light bite and a presentation from celebrity chef and author Pete Evans, followed by a Q&A session about the Paleo diet and lifestyle.

4) ‘You're better on beef' BBQ

Celebrate the best of beautiful Aussie beef on the shores of the Noosa River where renowned chefs will serve up their favourite sirloin creations.

5) Farmers markets

Visit the famous Noosa Farmers Market to see a selection of local produce and live cooking demonstrations. You'll have the chance to mingle with producers, growers, farmers and visiting chefs while you taste the best food that Queensland has to offer.

6) Wine tastings

Take part in wine tastings from some of Australia's best wineries. There's even a champagne masterclass for those who are looking for something more luxurious.

7) Restaurants

Join some of Australia's top chefs in a range of Noosa's best restaurants for co-hosted dinners. These unique collaborations provide an unforgettable dining experience.

8) The Spanish Quarter

Dance and dine your way through a colourful, carnival-like atmosphere of a Spanish village, where you can sip wine and sample delights from cheese to paella to jamon. A sangria bar and the sounds of Latino music will ensure the party progresses into the night.

9) Cooking demonstrations

Marvel at the skills on show as chefs demonstrate their best creations in front of an audience at Noosa Farmers Market. It's worth taking notes as they share their best tips and techniques.

10) Lifestyle

This year's event emphasises not just food but the full lifestyle experience. From seminars on healthy eating, to pilates on the beach or a fun 9 hole game at Noosa Springs Golf & Spa resort, there are plenty of other experiences to enjoy.
