A complex low over QLD and NSW is triggering areas of rain, heavy at times in the east. A high pressure system over WA will lead to another chilly night, especially over inland parts. A warm airmass will linger in the northern parts of Australia.
Thursday 22:00 EST
A low will move offshore allowing rain to ease, however an unstable southwesterly airflow enhanced by upper cold air will maintain showers over SA, NSW, VIC and TAS. A moist southeasterly airflow will produce light showers over QLD's tropical coast and the Top End.

A moist onshore breeze enhanced by upper cool air will produce showers over the coast and ranges of NSW and southeast QLD. A westerly airflow will also produce showers over southern parts of VIC and TAS. A front will impact southwestern parts of WA delivering gusty cool showers.
Saturday 22:00 EST
A cold front will move over southern and western parts of WA generating gusty cool showers and the odd thunderstorm. A high pressure ridge should maintain stable conditions over much of the east, with the exception of northeastern NSW. A cold front may generate showers over TAS.
Sunday 22:00 EST
A low should move over the Great Australian Bight, with an associated front extending over southern parts of WA and western SA generating showers. An associated trough should extend north over western parts of the NT and northern parts of WA.
Monday 22:00 EST
A slow moving low should continue to cross the Great Australian Bight with an associated trough generating showers from northern WA, over the NT and SA to western parts of NSW and VIC. A moist southwesterly airflow should generate showers over southern WA.
Tuesday 22:00 EST
A trough may deepen generating heavy showers over SA, VIC, inland parts of NSW, western parts of QLD, the NT and northern parts of WA. A weak trough over western parts of WA may also produce the odd shower. A moist southeasterly breeze should trigger showers over the QLD coast.
