Brian DePalma's groundbreaking 1968 counterculture film, GREETINGS!, was the very first film to receive an X rating from the newly created MPAA. This is the 1st of 3 compilation clips that show why the film is classic, though they dont include any of the extensive nudity that was the reason for the film's adult classification. DePalma created a sequel in 1970 called "Hi Mom!", which had its own bouts of censorship difficulties with the MPAA, before it was finally granted an R after a few minor cuts. In this first segment, Jon (Robert DeNiro) and Lloyd (Gerrit Graham) try to keep Paul (Jonathan Warden) awake for days on end, so that he will be suitable haggard looking for his upcoming army physical to see if he is fit to be drafted. In the meantime, they instruct him on how to act crazy...

One of my favorite Brian de Palma's films in his early years "Greetings" (1968) a sex political satire film features a young Robert De Niro in his first major role, Jonathan Warden and Gerrit Graham.
Robert Deniro gets a girl to take her clothes off.
Here we see Robert De Niro in the role of Jon Rubin. This is listed on IMDB as his 3rd movie role. 'Greetings' is a 1968 film directed by Brian De Palma. A satirical film about men avoiding the Vietnam War draft, it features a young Robert De Niro in his first major role. It was the first film to receive an X rating by the MPAA, although it was later given an R rating. De Niro reprised the character of Jon Rubin in the 1970 film 'Hi, Mom!' also directed by De Palma. The film was entered into the 19th Berlin International Film Festival, where it won a Silver Bear award. **I do not own copyright on this clip but have uploaded as a matter of interest without ownership, any copyright issues then please let me know and i will remove, thank you.** **Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of ...
