Where do you need carpet dry cleaning experts?
Carpets can get dirty over time – from the dirt tracked in on shoes and feet, from animal hair, from spilled food and crumbs, from people laying on it or children playing and so on – and so it needs regular cleaning to keep it looking great and to prolong its life. One method you can use is dry cleaning. Read on for more.
Dry cleaning your carpets is an alternative to steam cleaning and the advantage of this system is that your carpets will be dry extremely quickly. Dry cleaning is also known as “Bonnet cleaning”. In this system, the cleaning solution is sprayed onto the carpet. A rotating buffer with an absorbent pad is then moved over the carpet, with the pad being changed every time it gets dirty. If any stains are present after the cleaning, specialised stain removal solutions are used. The carpets are then “raked” to lift the pile and help it to air out.
Dry cleaning is an ideal way to clean light and moderately soiled carpets but it is best used in between deeper steam cleans. Always ask for the cost of the cleaning before work commences and ask if it includes furniture moving where necessary and a pre-vacuuming before cleaning.
