Police call for help after woman brutally bashed outside Parkwood petrol station

A victim of a horrific bashing outside BP Petrol Station in Parkwood overnight has taken to social media to help identify her attackers.

Dollvy Van Luyn was filling up her white Lexus sedan a petrol station on High Road at about 9pm on Wednesday night, when a white Mazda hatch vehicle stopped nearby.

A male passenger exited the car, approached the woman's car and attempted to steal her backpack.

When the victim attempted to stop the man, she was punched several times in the face and fell to the ground.

The man then ran back to the white Mazda and fled the scene.

A St John of God ambulance transported her to Royal Perth Hospital, and Ms Van Luyn posted photos of her injuries on Facebook.

She claimed she had "blacked out" during the attack, and had struggled to use her left leg.

Ms Van Luyn also asked for the public to keep an eye out on Gumtree and other buy-and-sell websites for her laptop and denim blue uni bag.

She claimed it had contained her computer and university work, and she desperately needed them back in order to study for her end-of-semester exams.

Her attacker has been described by WA Police as dark skinned, and wearing a blue hooded top.

He is believed to be aged between 16 to 19 years of age with a solid build.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or make a report online.
