VedaScores shown on the map are for Statistical Areas Level 3 (SA3), which are designed to provide a regional breakdown of the whole of Australia without gaps or overlap through 351 distinct areas. SA3s are used for the output of regional data like the 2011 Census Data and generally have a population of between 30,000 and 130,000 people. To make it easier to search by locations closer to the suburb level, the search can be done by post code and also reveals all the SA2 areas which make up specific SA3 regions.
