Great App I have been searching for some kind of way to listen to podcasts since getting my phone that equals that found on iTunes. This. Is. That. App. I have not stopped using it since first downloading. I doubt I will ever stop using it now that I am getting everything I have found it.

Tried them all and this is the best I have tried all of the top podcast apps and continue to prefer this one as my go to podcast app. Very clean, crisp interface. Smooth playback with all the normal features. And it's free with no ads as a bonus! Well done.

The best and simplest offline player I went through a few podcast players only to find that you had to be online for them to stream. I needed one that would download them to listen offline, enter PlayerFM. Very easy to use, very flexible settings, looks great and automatically downloads my podcast ready for the next time I listen.

Awesome! The definitive factor in what makes this app great is the search function. It is miles better than anything else on android. Most others don't allow you to search episodes. This app allows you to search podcast titles and episodes at the same time. Great for looking for content from a favourite public figure.

ONE OF THE BEST, FOR NOW AT LEAST Update: Review messed up. This is one of my favorite apps to use for podcasts. The update that added video, but the way you can skip Silence, Audio Boost, and do those things WHILE streaming is a plus. Some apps that have that feature require you to download the podcast first. Without doubt I would pay for this app. It's worth it to me. But I would never pay a subscription for podcasts. UPDATE: Lately when playing this app it doesn't show as playing in notification area (Nexus 6P). Or lockscreen.

Update The last few updates have really made this unreliable. I can't see episodes anymore and it takes an incredible amount of time to get some episodes I know have been recently published. Really hoping this gets fixed soon, it's been my go to app for 2 or 3 years now. Will give it 5 stars again when this gets addressed.

Pls. also check the options in Settings | Display if there's anything that may prevent you from seeing episodes. If the issues persist, send us logs in Help | [Report Problem..] so we can further investigate.

Poor Settings The general functionality of this app and the wide variety of podcasts available are pretty good. But the settings are not intuitive and are poorly explained within the app. Downloaded episodes will remove themselves somehow from the playlist. The queue moves so slowly that episodes marked for download often don't make it. The settings for controlling this make no sense. I do not use this app anymore for that reason and do not recommend it for people who want to avoid streaming.

If you use Play Later for downloading, pls. make sure to increase limit to ensure all episodes will be downloaded. We'd love to know more info on your issue on the settings. Some idiosyncrasies here and there, but a full featured and comprehensive podcast manager. Excellent discovery features, and no annoying ads! 14/10/16 - Updated review. The quirks have been ironed out and it's pretty -much perfect. The usability and features are superb. This is probably the best podcast player available.

decent but buggy pretty quick and good UI but a bit buggy. the full screen player goes dark after a second tricking the user into thinking the phone went to sleep. downloaded episodes keep on getting corrupted and it frequently forgets where I left off forcing me into listening the whole episode again

Continuous play is working funky and has started shuffling. I haven't changed any play settings, and doidn't know there was a shuffle option. So I don't know how to turn it off.

Dream come true, Perfectly awesome app, especially when you consider that it's free and comes with no ads. If I could have just one wish for a future update, it would be to have personalized recommendations based on your current subscriptions. Other than that, it already comes with most essential features I could think of.

Great app, keeps pestering me to rate it. Seems like the only way to get the ratings box to go away is to rate the app or lie and say that you've rated it. Since I don't want to lie I feel like I've been coerced into writing this review. A "no thanks" button would be nice.

Works great! Everything that bugged me about my previous podcasting app are beautifully handed here. Very easy to mark episodes as played. Doesn't freeze when playing long episodes. Easy to search for podcasts, great suggestions.

Best of the best If this podcast player can't do it, you don't need it. Seriously, it had the best design and features out of the 5 I downloaded and compared it to. And it was free! Crazy it was better than the ones you have to pay for, that's pretty rare. Works flawlessly. Download it and don't look back. A whole lot of effort went into this app. I applaud the team.

best there is available auto download , great search , excellent subscribe unsubscribe , ability to play audio on and off the app , only download when on wifi , continuous play , option to auto delete once played.the only scary part is i think the developer can read minds , or else he couldn't have developed my dream app.just one request its perfect as it is.dont please fiddle with it too much !!!
