Diversity and equity are critical to the education of all students and to creating an environment of respect and inclusion for students, faculty, staff and members of the community. Penn State has made progress when it comes to building supportive, welcoming learning communities — from providing programs that embrace diversity and promote broad acceptance of differences to ensuring equitable access to our facilities, programs, resources, and services — but there is still work to be done. At 7:15 p.m. Oct. 6, the University community will come together for "All In at Penn State: A Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion" at Old Main lawn, University Park, and via livestream at: http://allin.psu.edu/kickoffeven #WeAre all in.
