Sunrise or sun up is the instant at which the upper edge of the Sun appears over the eastern horizon in the morning. The term can also refer to the entire process of the Sun crossing the horizon and its accompanying atmospheric effects.
Although the Sun appears to "rise" from the horizon, it is actually the Earth's motion that causes the Sun to appear. The illusion of a moving Sun results from Earth observers being in a rotating reference frame; this apparent motion is so convincing that most cultures had mythologies and religions built around the geocentric model, which prevailed until astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus first formulated the heliocentric model in the 16th century.
Architect Buckminster Fuller proposed the terms "sunsight" and "sunclipse" to better represent the heliocentric model, though the terms have not entered into common language.
Astronomically, sunrise occurs for only an instant: the moment at which the upper limb of the Sun appears tangent to the horizon. However, the term sunrise commonly refers to periods of time both before and after this point:

Uriah Heep is a fictional character created by Charles Dickens in his novel David Copperfield.
The character is notable for his cloying humility, obsequiousness, and insincerity, making frequent references to his own "'humbleness". His name has become synonymous with being a yes man. He is the central antagonist of the latter part of the book.
David first meets the 15-year-old Heep when he is living with Mr. Wickfield and his daughter Agnes, in chapter 15:
Heep has been employed as clerk to Wickfield for four years, since he was eleven. Heep's father, who instilled in him the need to be humble, died when Uriah was ten, and for the first part of the novel he lives alone with his mother in their "umble abode". Copperfield takes an immediate and permanent dislike to Uriah, in spite of the latter's persistent, if insincere attempts to win his friendship. Heep addresses Copperfield as "Master Copperfield" well into their adulthood, an indication of his true patronising view.
Heep is repeatedly described as ugly and repulsive, even in his youth - tall, lank and pale with red hair and lashless eyes. Dickens negatively emphasizes Heep's movements as well, described as jerking and writhing; this leads some literary scholars to believe Dickens is describing a form of dystonia, a muscular disorder, to increase Heep's snakelike character.
David Garrick (29 January 1947 – 28 February 1985), better known by his stage name David Byron, was a British singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist with the rock band Uriah Heep in the early 1970s.
From mid-60s to early 70s David Byron did session work for a company called Avenue Recordings singing lead and backing vocals (occasionally along with Mick Box on guitar and Paul Newton on bass). These were cover versions of Top 20 hits and were released on EPs & LPs.
His first venture into professional music was with an Epping-based semi-pro band called The Stalkers who also featured guitarist Mick Box. Byron and Box worked well together and teamed up to form the band Spice which also featured Paul Newton on bass and Alex Napier on drums. The band gigged extensively locally under the management of Paul Newton's father and they secured a recording deal with United Artists who issued the bands one and only single "What About The Music/In Love" (UP 2246), copies of which now fetch around $50 to $100 on the collectors market.
Dave Rodgers (born Giancarlo Pasquini, February 21, 1963) is an Italian songwriter, composer, and producer.
Born in Mantua, he started production with the band Aleph. Since then, he has collaborated with artists from around the world and has produced several multi-platinum albums. Rodgers has been honored by the Japanese music industry for selling more than 30 million albums as a singer, composer, and producer.
He is the owner of Rodgers Studio, and A-Beat C Productions co-founded with Alberto Contini. Considered by many to be the "Godfather of Eurobeat", he has written and produced songs for J-pop artists such as Namie Amuro, V6 and MAX, which helped introduce some Japanese music fans to the electronic music genre known as Eurobeat. He has produced countless works for the Super Eurobeat series, the world's longest-running series of dance music compilation albums, since its earliest issues.
Many songs produced by Dave Rodgers have become massive hits, such as "Space Boy" by Rodgers, "Music for the People" also by him and covered by V6, "Try Me" by Amuro Namie, "Go Go Money" by Neo, "Original Sin" by Powerful T. and "Get Wild" as a collaboration with Tetsuya Komuro. A handful of these songs are used in the Initial D anime and video games.

Percussion concerto played by Evelyn Glennie and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Published by Chester Music. Prog note: AFRICAN SUNRISE- MANHATTAN RAVE In 1993 Evelyn Glennie asked me for a new concerto and when I first went to see her perform, the thing that surprised me most was that she suddenly announced she was a 'rock chick' at heart, sat behind a trash percussion kit, and went wild. I had always wanted to write a piece for trash/industrial percussion and orchestra and decided to base the second part of this concerto, (Manhattan Rave), on electro club dance music, using the orchestra as a 'sampled' orchestra - juxtapositioned major triads forming its main musical element. The other inspiration behind this piece was the release of Nelson Mandela after 27 yeas in captivity ...
Earlier this year {2014} got a call the BBC ----15 year old percussionist Elliot Gaston-Ross wanted to play my percussion concerto African Sunrise/Manhattan Rave in the BBC young musician final. I was excited but concerned too, would he be able to grasp the inner meaning of the piece - the links to the release of Nelson Mandela {the son of Africa rising} and would he have the power and the passion of Evelyn Glennie it’s dedicatee. I decided to cut the piece down for him –by shortening it and chopping the end off. The answer to my proposed changes quickly came back from Elliot – he would not shorten it or chop the end off – he thought the end was an integral part of the whole piece! A young performer standing up to a composer - I was impressed. Then came the performance – and what a st...

I'm staying up late tonight
I'm in a foreign city
Poppin' bottles in the ice
And all these girls are pretty
I'm staying up late tonight
Me and my best friends gettin' shitty
Poppin' bottles in the club
And you know we gettin' drunk
Til the sunrise up
The sunrise up
Til the sunrise up
The sunrise up
Til the sunrise up
The sunrise up
Til the sunrise up
The sunrise up
[X2]
I just did a car bomb
In the back seat, of a car
I'm like a cell phone with no bars
Swing! Motherfucker on par
We are, here for one reason
So keep the ratio even
And keep the radio beeping (on and on)
Like Simpsons season
Bleaking, on the bathroom floor
Got her wet like a thunderstorm
Sleep with me and not a whore (no! )
Daddy breaking down the back door
Ain't fucking, what the fuck you for?
Work it, where you get our source?
Twista, get on all fours
Off the lights, on the floor

B-Town, where the ballers at?
Hollaback, if you my homie
If you're not, then get to know me
No snake but I might bite you, girl
Half naked with a half white, girl
Feeling like a have bites
Turn you on like a flashlight

Look Ma, no hands
No plans but I'm spiderman
You Mary Jane, my fighter man
Vicodin, stop the beat
The sunrise look new to me
Can you see it?
What, where is it?
It's over there
Yeah it is
Over the horizon
The sun, the sun
It's rising
Til the sunrise up
The sunrise up
Til the sunrise up
The sunrise up
Til the sunrise up
The sunrise up
Til the sunrise up
