Moving the embassy to Jerusalem

Tump has just promised to move the US embassy in Beirut, the US embassy in Cairo, the US embassy in Damascus, and the US embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

FLASH: Name of Trump's Secretary of Defense leaked

The name of Trump's Secretary of Defense has just leaked.

Flash: Trump's US ambassador in Israel

This just in: Trump announced that Netanyahu will serve as the next US ambassador in Israel.

Trump's Victory

My weekly article in Al-Akhbar: "Trump's Victory: Interpreting American Electoral Behavior".

Michael Flynn

Michael Flynn, as you know, still thinks that Ayatollah Khomeini is still alive and still rules Iran.  Today, Flynn called on Khomeini to condemn ISIS at once.

Obama and False News

Obama warned against "false news".  He said people should only get "correct news" which are issued daily from the different agencies of the US government.  He said those who want only correct news, should not visit any internet sites which are not approved by the US government.  On this blog, I shall remain dedicated to false news.

The other story of East Aleppo

Civilians in East Aleppo have been complaining and protesting the abuses of the Syrian rebels and also the hoarding of UN aid deliveries, which are stolen by the rebels.  The civilians are also prohibited from leaving East Aleppo. Today, residents of East Aleppo were planning to launch protests against the rebels although the rebels made it clear that they won't allow protests to take place. Fearing embarrassment for the rebels, former US Ambassador in Syria tweeted that protests should be allowed to take place.  This entire story is not in US newspaper.  Western correspondents in Beirut would never cover what is embarrassing to the image of their beloved rebels.  I don't know what happened today.

But Obama and Hillary should not?

: Trump must retract policies that would violate U.S. law, human rights norms or harm millions of people

“Islam hates us.”

So Trump's new National Security Advisor had said that "“Islam hates us.”  But why does Islam hate him? Has he tried to talk to Islam? Has he ever tried to have a meal with Islam to discuss the matter? Islam does not seem to be a nice guy according to this National Security Adviser.  What about Christianity? Does it love him?   And he said that "Islam is a cancer". What about other religions? Is Christianity a gallbladder?

Arabic Huffington Post misogyny

Huffington Post Muslim Brotherhood Arabic Qatari regime has this headline about Egyptian female stars: "Ugliness prevail."  Kid you not.

All those who Arabs who work for Saudi regime media have received new orders

All those Arabs who wrote in English in support of Hillary and in condemnation of Trump have received new orders to show respect and offer praise for Trump.  Orders implemented.

Most reactionary administration in American history

"This is shaping up as the most reactionary administration in American history. I have a feeling that it will crack up by 2019. I don’t know how. After that, President Pence as traumatized caretaker until the election?"

You know how much the Guardian newspaper has deteriorated when...

You know when the Guardian newspaper has deteriorated when they blast the story about the views of Kanye West.

Trump University

How many Lebanese politicians hold "degrees" from Trump University?

US media insist that Iran and Syrian regime are the happiest about Trump while Saudi regime media say otherwise

This Saudi regime newspaper refers to Khamenei, Sulaymani, and Nasrallah as "Obama's orphans" and that they are most distressed over Trump victory. Yet, US media still don't want to admit or to refer to Saudi regime welcoming of Trump.

Saudi regime media attacks Iran for...allowing Jews to live in Iran

I am not making this up.  This Saudi regime newspaper is attacking Iran for allowing Jewish Iranians to live in Iran and they published a picture of Ahmadinejad with a Jewish person.  Of course, anti-Semitism of House of Saud is acceptable to MERMI and to American Zionists because the Saudi regime is aligned with Israel.

Not in the Western press, naturally: a Saudi convicted and sentenced for RETWEET

The judicial sentence of 9 years says that the court convicted the person for "retweeting several tweets which are harmful to the state and agitate and mock the guardians of the country".  Kid you not.

We never see pictures in the Western press of Syrian rebels in East Aleppo: I think they worry pictures may undermine the propaganda narrative

Syrian rebels in East Aleppo announced--yet again--a command council.   I don't judge appearances but do they strike you as "secular" and "moderates"?

It is worrisome if Niall Ferguson is pleased with Trump's stance on Islam

How all Western media are reporting Syrian regime attitude to Trump versus Saudi regime attitude to Trump

Compare the headline of the New York Times (and all other Western papers) with the actual text: "Mr. Assad said that “if — if — he fights the terrorists, it is clear that we will be a natural ally".  In the meanwhile, all Western media are ignoring the daily avalanche of praise for Trump in Saudi regime media. They just don't fit the propaganda narrative.

U.S. may be "guilty of war crimes" in Yemen, expert warns

"Rights groups and U.N. officials say the U.S.-backed coalition has often either deliberately or recklessly depended on faulty intelligence, failed to distinguish between civilian and military targets and disregarded the likelihood of civilian casualties. Experts say some of the strikes amount to war crimes. “The Saudis have been committing war crimes in Yemen,” said Gabor Rona, a professor teaching the laws of war at Columbia University. He pointed to “indiscriminate targeting, that is, attacks in which the attacker makes no effort to distinguish between combatants and civilians.” And he warned that American personnel helping the coalition “may also be guilty of war crimes.” "

Western racist parties are staunch supporters of Israel

"Many of those parties, including the French National Front and the Dutch Freedom Party, are also staunch supporters of Israel, seeing in the Jewish state’s nationalist ideology a mirror of their own quest to live in ethnically pure nation states, free to discriminate against or expel Muslims."

White supremacism laced with anti-Semitism & fanatical support for Israel

"Under Steve Bannon’s leadership, Breitbart News “regularly published materials designed to stoke fears about African Americans, Latinos, Muslims and other groups, and to explicitly normalize white nationalist and white supremacist beliefs,” according to New York magazine. This so-called alt-right ideology has been described by one of its key promoters as a form of “white Zionism.” "Former Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, one of Israel’s most visible apologists, has also come to Bannon’s defense." "All of this signals that there is no contradiction between white supremacism laced with anti-Semitism, on the one hand, and fanatical support for Israel, on the other."

"International Caucasian Court for the persecution & humiliation of Africans"

"But the International Criminal Court (ICC) has been dealt a serious blow recently. Three African nations are withdrawing from the court, alleging it is racist. Others are threatening to follow suit." "Critics also point out that nine of the 10 cases currently under investigation by the ICC are based in Africa." (thanks Amir)

Lebanon: the capital of porn

According to Alexa, pornhub website is ranked number 29 in all of websites in Lebanon.

An American pundit's solution to Syrian crisis

"CHRIS MATTHEWS, HOST: My belief is you`re going to have to do something like what Biden did – proposed in Iraq, some kind of sectarian breakup of the country, where the  Kurds get their own piece of the world, the Sunnis get their piece, the Shia get their piece. You have to do something like that with the royal family of Assad, give them, the Alawites, some little canton where they can live happily and free the rest of the country to be Sunni." (thanks Basim)

US election song

This is a US election song. (Not politically correct).

Megyn Kelly 2

Shawna pointed out to me that my negative comment about Megyn Kelly yesterday may have been incomplete as I did not comment on her skills.  I admit: that she has certainly become far more effective and sharper in interviews and--perhaps more than most male interviewers on TV--she is always most prepared. Her interview with Newt Gingrich last week as outstanding and she handled it most professionally despite the sexist and vulgar utterances of Newt. But I just don't like her and find her annoying.

The New York Times sells a camera using the war of Yemen as a backdrop

From Ben: I don't know if you get the print edition of the Times, but in case you don't,  I found this pretty disgusting.  As my son Diego said, "100 people were killed and they're selling a camera?""

Syrian rebels in East Aleppo are holding civilians hostages and Western media don't report it

Tomorrow is declared a day of protest against Syrian rebels in East Aleppo under the slogan: : "The Friday of Leave or Let us Leave".

Anti-Semites for Israel

For many years, those of us anti-Zionists who abhor anti-Semitism have been arguing that Israel and American Zionists were never serious in combating anti-Semitism and that they politicized the matter, and aligned themselves often with anti-Semites. There are many examples. The Zionist movement has been silent for decades about the anti-Semitism of the American evangelical movement (Israel and US Zionists were silent about the anti-Semitic book by Pat Robertson, The New World Order).  And when Rep. Bob Dornan in a speech in US Congress denounced a Soviet reporter (who happened to be Jewish) in a crude and vulgar anti-Semitic insult, US Zionists came to his defense and reminded everyone that he had a strong pro-Israel record.  So this new chapter in US Zionist and Israeli cover up of American anti-Semites is not new at all.  It has a long history.

Can you imagine the international uproar if a government anywhere in the world is studying the registration of its Jewish citizens?

Yet, the matter of registration of Muslim residents is covered as part of a legitimate political debate over public policy questions.

This won't be in the Western press because the guy in question is "pro-West/pro-Saudi": Lebanon's prime minister-designate bans a photographer

The prime minister-designate of Lebanon, Sa`d Hariri, banned the photographer, Husayn Baydun, because he published this picture of him.  I am not making this up.

Prince Al-Walid prostrates to Tump yet again

Prince Al-Walid has been trying to erase his words against Trump.

Prince Turki on Trump: from May to November

In May, Prince Turki said: "With carefully chosen words, Prince Turki al-Faisal, a former ambassador to the U.S., warned against a Trump presidency. “For the life of me, I cannot believe that a country like the United States can afford to have someone as president who simply says, ‘These people are not going to be allowed to come to the United States,’” Turki said on Thursday evening, referring to Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the country."
Today, Prince Turki told NPR that he can't comment on Trump because we have to "wait for policies".

PS There are no people who are more devoid of pride and dignity, than Arab royals.

Steve Bannon

Not sure why liberal media are freaking out about Steve Bannon. I think that his president is even worse.

Tom Hanks assures a nervous populace

He says that his career won't be affected and for that you need not worry.

The Islam experts of the new administration

Here is the list.

The Shi`ite religious council in Lebanon speaks out about the turbaned crook who posed with Trump

The Shi`ite religious council of Lebanon issued an official statement today about the case of the Saudi-run crook, Muhammad Hajj Hasan (who was also promoted by the Hariri inc).  The statement today officially stated that the man has no religious title or education and it referred to his record with the law (embezzlement and fake identities and such).  The official statement of the council is above the picture, above.

Western media and Arab reactions to Trump

Still, Western media stubbornly refuses to cite Saudi regime media's enthusiastic praise for Trump.  Arab supporters of Gulf regimes are doing the same.

This does not cause stir in the US media; just imagine if the roles were reversed and that this was a Muslim state banning Jewish religious rituals

"Israel approves bill banning Muslim call to prayer"

How the worst news agency out there, Reuters, now speaks on behalf of "ordinary Arabs"

"Some ordinary Arabs like Trump's no-nonsense style, and praise what they see as his capacity for tough leadership." (thanks Basim)

Goodwill of President-elect Trump

I think that Trump may extend an olive branch to Muslims.  Don't be surprised if he appoints an advisor on Muslim affairs: the name of the pastor who set the Qur'an on fire in Florida comes to mind.

Megyn Kelley

It is amazing that ever since Trump unleashed his misogynistic and grotesque venom against Megyn Kelley liberals and others suddenly forgot that Kelley is a lousy right-wing hack who has the charm of Newt Gingrich and the journalistic professionalism of Geraldo Rivera.

This is the leader of the Democrats in the Senate: I am sure he will inspire millions
