A good challenge with excellent replay value Love it. Have wanted the table top version for a while but my friends and family aren't much for these types of games. This one is very well done. My only complaint is the continuous requirement the click the continue to the next infection button. Otherwisr, I strongly recommend this game, well worth the price and with the expansion there are a seemingly endless number of combinations to choose from.

Raises the bar! This is the gold standard for all board game apps. A perfect tutorial which introduces the rules of the game could in itself be a great introduction to the card based board game alone, and make a great training tool. Then the lovely touch interface which brings all the info you need within easy reach, rounds it off. The visuals are exactly as you know from the original game and the only thing missing is connected multiplayer, wifi locally or net play. Can't wait to see what else this dev can translate digitally. Highly recommended.

Getting oriented Vertigo and tiny important features make the first few games seem harder. The auto zoom and pan with flashing disease cubes spinning and so forth made me long for my quiet board game. ("Tabletop" video Wil online if you haven't tried it analog.) This game lets you examine all players cards, forecasted cards, played cards... Expand the left and right columns and pay close attenton to when you use forecast. It's easy to slip.

Everyday play Fantastic adaptation! The interface is really great, the sound and music is perfect, it's a very fun game. $6.99 + $1.99 packs for more roles and a variant difficulty pack is worth it. I've got dozens of plays. Please add more roles and variants! I'd pay $1.99 for them.

Successful translation of the boardgame Pandemic is a cooperative game which is good both for solo play and with friends, though only pass-and-play is available. A robust tutorial is included for those new to the game or in need of a refresher. Replay ability is sky-high thanks to the different assortment of characters and random events with the adversary diseases. It can and should be tough, losing will happen and winning is seldom a cakewalk.

Great strategy game Pandemic is great fun. I had played the board game 3 or 4 times before finding the app. This game is designed to be a game that spirals out of control if you don't have a good strategy. The laws of probability are weighted against you by design and the worse your strategy, the faster the spiral. I would guess that I have played 15 games so far on the easiest level and maybe won 4 or 5 of them.

Owned Board Game First Awesome game, easier to learn than actual board game. It does glitch and not let you look at your character's cards but exiting and getting back in fixes it. Expansions are nicely proceed to too.
Great game Bought the physical copy before the digital game. Haven't played the physical copy so I wanted to get familiar with the game with this game. It did an excellent job of providing tutorial so now I understand how to play this game. One thing I don't like is how the game just piles on infections on the cities that are close or already have had epidemics and you lose the game within a turn or two once it goes downhill.
Great adaptation So glad to see that the pandemic board game made it to the Google play store! Hoping for more expansions in the app soon. I enjoy playing board games but don't get enough opportunities to play all the variations. I am really enjoying the app and the available in app purchases.
Great potential I could be called a fan, as I have bought every Pandemic related board game (except Legacy Red box, as I have the Blue one...). I was a bit sad to see that the on the Brink expansion is only the role and event cards. I hope to see more expansion on the app, like the virulent strain, the mutated disease and the Lab to find the cure.

Hi Julien,
Virulent Strain is available to be bought as an In-App purchase. As for the rest of the On the Brink expansion, In The Lab, etc. It might be added someday.
Thanks for your support! Great Game with Insane bad luck I love the board game and for the most part this is one of the best app versions of a board game I have played. The one problem I have is it seems like the deck is literally stacked aginst you. One example is when I get a epidemic card the bottom city gets an automatic 3 cubes then goes into the discard pile which is shuffled and the infection phase starts. Well over 50% of the time the first card in the infection phase is the card I just got from the bottom of the deck which starts a out brake.
Fantastic adaptation! This is a fantastic adaptation of the board game. I was hesitant to purchase since my husband and I enjoy playing games over wifi and this game doesn't offer that option, but it works out great to have to strategize together, etc. in the pass and play game. We usually cast the screen to the TV so we can both see it at the same time. We absolutely love the graphics and animation. It's hard to sin, but so is the board game!
Fantastic! This is a really solid mobile version of the board game. It doesn't disappoint! Very easy to learn and use. Lots of fun and plenty of replay value. (Now, Pandemic Legacy as a mobile game...? That would be incredible.)
Great App App works great, very easy to use. My only complaint is the separate costs for the "on the brink" expansion. Still doesn't include mutations, I expect that's coming... Probably at an additional cost though.
Decent Port It's a direct port of the board game which is exactly what I was looking for. However it desperately needs a Multiplayer mode (preferably Async). Pass N' Play is never a good substitute for real multiplayer and single player gets dry really fast. Also, it really needs options to turn off all of the flashy Laser-Floyd like effects.
Nice game I am having problems with the in-app purchase though. I have already bought on the brink but it is still locked. When i try to repurchase it, it says that i already bought it. But it is still locked. Please help! I want to play the expansion!

Hi Mark, it is a weird issue you got there. Try these:
- Log out from your Google account on your device, open the game and go to the 'Store' page, then exit the game and relog on your Google account. Check in the game if the lock is gone.
- Uninstall and reinstall the application.
Tell me if it works. Fantastic game Pandemic is fun yet frustrating, so it keeps bringing you back for more. You can play the board game alone or with friends and the app is a great recreation. I get board game apps for several reasons, its the easiest way to learn the rules, then once you know the game, you can play a quick game without the setup or if you can't find other people.
F*&$ing hard I would rate this game higher but this game is a dick. No matter what you do youre more likely to lose. Its fun dont get me wrong but it can be frustrating to know you are so close to winning and you lose because you run out of cards which is rare compared to the MANY other ways to lose. One of the bestmade board game on mobile out there.
Plays like boardgame You play all 4 players, and seems very difficult at first but stick with it an you strategy and tactics improve to the point where heroic level is at least feasible ;) What the game really needs to get to 5 star is a network option so you can play with friends online, or even a local wifi option to play together.
High replay value We love Pandemic as a tabletop game. Because of the nature of the game you keep coming back. Not easy, which makes achieving all the better. This version is perfect for those nervous of the £30 price tag for the boxed version, but also a great extra for solo players. No regrets.
Great game My wife and I love this game. Both on the phone / tablet and the actual board game. My only gripe with the tablet / phone version is its a little predictable; after you get an epidemic it is almost a 100% certainty that you will pull the same card in the infection phase as you did in the epidemic causing an outbreak. Also, if it's just the two of us playing and we randomized the roles, one of us is always picked as the medic. It could be a bit more randomized, but great game other than these issues!
Must. Save. The. World. Now! I've played Pandemic organically but digitally is so much better! It's just like the board game except that the music makes the gameplay more anxiety conducive and intense lol
Just as fun as the board game, and getting to experiment with different teams as well as the virulent strain variant and on the brink cards makes this super fun. Now if Pandemic Legacy comes out, I will never get off the screen.
Could only be improved (or destroyed) by online multiplayer. Great game, good expansions. Intended for local pass n' play, but I've only played it alone. Hasn't gotten old in the months I've owned it, and I play it almost every day. Online multiplayer would be nice, but I could see how it would be hard to establish collaboration without physical proximity of players. Great balance of chance and skill.
Love it Plays just like the board game, fantastic fun, challenging puzzle. A few glitches, but they are usually settled by exciting the app and reentering. Just wish mutant strain was available.
Flawless implementation of the board game Please introduce custom games: we want to tweak the rules (to lessen the pain and frustration). Please develop the new board game "Pandemic: Legacy". Well done, nice time playing.
This isn't to say i don't like the game In fact i oove this game whole heartedly to death. But it feels like the rng in this gamr is out to get me. There have been so many times where i've gotten so close to curing all 4 diseases and then out of no where a 6 hit combo of chain reaction outbreaks go off in asia or the middle east and i lose. And it happens EVERY TIME i get close to curing all diseases. So annoying. Great game but screw the cards...
Too rigged to be any real fun Fantastic graphics, sound, interface, gameplay, the game itself is great. The board game and is challenging, but wonderful. This app, however, I've had chain outbreaks on turn 4 and 5. Easy mode should mean just that. Even on "introductory " it's almost impossible to get cures before your cards run out since you're constantly stopping chain outbreaks. Challenging is fun, near impossible is much less so. Two stars off for no choice of an actual easy or even intermediate difficulty.

Hi!
Pandemic is meant to be challenging.
The following guidelines will help:
1- Use the "Dream Team" (Medic-Researcher-Scientist).
2- Use your cards to travel to highly infected regions to treat some cubes.
3- Prioritize the Medic to treat cubes.
4- Use the Scientist-Researcher combo to find cures.
Good Luck! Not able to win. Ever!!! Would like to give 5 stars but have never been able to win with app version of pandemic. I have tried 4 pawns and 2 pawns but never won. Please explain why this it.

Good Luck! Frustratingly Wonderful It's better to play with another person on the boardgame, but if that's not possible then this app is for you. If you like frantic nearly impossible challenges, try Pandemic!
A great translation This is Pandemic. If you haven't played before it might be a bit confusing, but if you have it's an excellent and easy way to play it on the go.
This game has mileage! I play this all the time. It's not too easy to get sick of it, and not to difficult that I can't focus in a noisy environment. Great time waster during flights and wait time.
Love sick Loved the board game and now it travels with me everywhere I go. Hope they add the latest expansions I think there's two more. A chance to play with others would be awesome.
No online multiplayer player I think it's assumed that a game on here will have online multiplayer. I already own the real game so why would I want a version on my phone if I can only play single player?
Great Tutorial - No Multiplayer If you bought the board game and are totally confused? Download the digital version, play and all will become clear. 1 star. Love love love the game. But thats where it stops because you cant play with others. But getting others to play is the physical can be tough. What about Pandemic With Friends? You play all roles 1-4. Cannot play with others. Ironic since this seems to teach how to play well with others.
chrome cast option great port of the board game. love the graphics and the sound effects. super user friendly and a great tutorial for those who have never played. just wish I could cast it to my tv so we could play from the couch!
Great game whether on phone or board game! Got both board game and this. Board game is a little tricky to learn but playing a few games of the electronic version, I soon had the rules sorted (especially some of the more complex ones). Game concept is excellent, a real challenge. Can be frustrating to lose so often but that's what makes beating it so satisfying as the odds are stacked against you... I highly recommend both to you, board game for social 2-4 players and this electronic version for solo play and learning the rules...
Everybody plays If you cast it to your TV, the whole family can get together and play towards the same goal. Gets exciting!
A Perfect Translation Aside from the lack of co-op, this is a flawless adaptation. The interface is slick and easy to follow. A little pricey, but well worth the quality.
An amazing game in a solid app Pandemic is an amazing board game. The app is both pretty and very usable for the core of game play, though it could use a few more options, which I hope are coming soon.
