Viola Davis

Viola Davis (born August 11, 1965) is an American actress and producer. She won the 2001 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her role as Tonya in the original production of King Hedley II, and the 2010 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for her role as Rose Maxon in the revival of Fences. In 2014, she began starring as Annalise Keating on the ABC drama How to Get Away with Murder, and in 2015 she became the first African American woman, as well as the first black woman of any nationality, to win the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. The role also won her a SAG Award in 2015 and 2016. In 2012, she was listed by Time as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

After graduating from the Juilliard School in 1993, Davis began her career on stage and won an Obie Award in 1999 for her performance as Ruby McCollum in Everybody's Ruby. In 2008, performance as Mrs. Miller in the film Doubt earned her several nominations, including the Golden Globe, SAG Award, and the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. For her lead role as Aibileen Clark in the film The Help (2011), she received nominations for the Golden Globe, BAFTA, and the Academy Award for Best Actress. She also won a SAG Award. Her other films include Far from Heaven (2002), Antwone Fisher (2003), Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (2011), The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby (2013), Get on Up (2014) and the upcoming Suicide Squad (2016).

Ioan Gruffudd

Ioan Gruffudd (Welsh pronunciation: [ˈjo.an ˈɡrɪfɪð]; born 6 October 1973) is a Welsh actor.

Having trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he started off in Welsh language film productions, then came to international attention as Fifth Officer Harold Lowe in the film Titanic (1997), and as Lt John Beales in Black Hawk Down (2001). He is also known in the UK for playing the title role in Horatio Hornblower (1998–2003).

In June 2012, he filmed Mariah Mundi and the Midas Box throughout the south-west of England, playing the role of "Charles Mundi"; the film was released in 2014. Other film roles include Lancelot in King Arthur (2004), Mister Fantastic (Reed Richards) in Fantastic Four (2005) and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), and British anti-slavery abolitionist William Wilberforce in Amazing Grace (2006). He played Tony Blair in W. (2008). On television he played Andrew Martin in Ringer, and Dr. Henry Morgan on the ABC drama, Forever.

Kristin Lehman

Kristin Lehman (born 3 May 1972) is a Canadian actress and dancer, best known for her roles in the television series Poltergeist: The Legacy, Judging Amy, and The Killing. Since 2013, she stars as Detective Angie Flynn in the CTV series Motive.

Life and career

Lehman was born in Toronto, Ontario, and grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia and trained in classical ballet at Canada's Royal Academy of Dance for eight years. She has acted professionally since 1995. In the 1990s, she appeared in Canadian programs such as Forever Knight, Due South and Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, before moving to Los Angeles.

Lehman was a regular cast member in the Showtime horror series Poltergeist: The Legacy (1998–99). She later starred in the short-lived ABC medical drama Strange World (1999). She also was a regular cast member in the short-lived dramas Century City, Tilt, Killer Instinct and Drive. Lehman also appeared in recurring roles in Felicity and Judging Amy, and played guest roles on many shows, including The Outer Limits, The Twilight Zone, Andromeda, Kevin Hill, Prison Break, and Castle.

Century City is an American science fiction-legal drama television series set in Los Angeles in the year 2030.

Synopsis

The show follows the legal team of Crane, Constable, McNeil & Montero. At the helm are the firm's four partners, the founder and senior partner Hannah Crane; veteran attorney Marty Constable; the pleased-with-himself attorney Darwin McNeil; and the former Californian Congressman and newest partner, Tom Montero. The team is supplemented by the ambitious enthusiasm of two young associates, the self-critical and earnest Lukas Gold and the genetically enhanced first-year associate Lee May Bristol.

Nestor Carbonell

Néstor Gastón Carbonell (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈnestor ɣasˈtoŋ karβoˈneʎ]; born December 1, 1967) is an American actor. He is perhaps most famous for his roles as Richard Alpert in ABC's drama series Lost, and Mayor Anthony Garcia in the Christopher Nolan films The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. He is also known for his regular roles as Luis Rivera on the sitcom Suddenly Susan, and Batmanuel on the live-action sitcom The Tick. Carbonell currently portrays Sheriff Alex Romero on A&E's drama-thriller series Bates Motel.

Early life

Carbonell was born in New York City to Cuban parents Néstor T. Carbonell Cortina and Rosa Ramírez de Arellano Cárdenas. His parents are of Spanish descent (his grandparents were of Catalan, Basque, Navarran, and Andalusian origins). Carbonell's father worked for PepsiCo, which required the family to live for periods of time in London, Mexico City, the Bahamas, and Caracas. His father is also active in the Cuban community, authoring the book And The Russians Stayed: The Sovietization of Cuba. Carbonell has an older sister, Rosa Maria "Mia" Carbonell, a Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Forbes. Former professional baseball player Rafael Palmeiro is his cousin. His paternal great-grandfather, José Manuel Cortina, was a noted Cuban orator and diplomat.
