Grant Gustin

Thomas Grant Gustin (born January 14, 1990), better known as Grant Gustin, is an American actor and singer. He is known for his roles as Barry Allen / Flash on the CW series The Flash and as Sebastian Smythe on the Fox series Glee.

Life and career

Gustin was born in Norfolk, Virginia. He is the son of Dr. Tina Haney, a pediatric nurse, and Tom Gustin. During his high school years, Grant attended the Governor's School for the Arts program in Norfolk, Virginia for Musical Theatre. He also went to Hurrah Players Incorporated which is a theatre organization in Virginia. In 2008, he graduated from Granby High School and went on to attend the BFA Music Theatre Program at Elon University in North Carolina for two years.

He left school to take the role of Baby John in the Broadway Revival Tour of West Side Story, and performed with the tour from its opening on September 30, 2010 through September 23, 2011.

On November 8, 2011, he debuted on the television series Glee as Sebastian Smythe, an openly gay member of the Dalton Academy Warblers. Gustin won the recurring role of Sebastian, a promiscuous and scheming character, after "an exhaustive, weeks-long casting search". He originally auditioned for a role as a tap dancer, but did not get the part. However, Ryan Murphy kept him in mind. He began filming the role early on Monday, September 26, 2011, after having finished his final West Side Story performance the Friday night before.

Human mission to Mars

A human mission to Mars has been the subject of science fiction, engineering, and scientific proposals throughout the 20th century and into the 21st century. The plans comprise proposals to land on Mars, eventually settling on and terraforming the planet, while utilizing its moons, Phobos and Deimos.

The exploration of Mars has been a goal of national space programs for decades. Preliminary work for missions that would involve human explorers has been undertaken since the 1950s, with planned missions typically being cited as taking place 10 to 30 years in the future when they are drafted. The list of manned Mars mission plans in the 20th century shows the various mission proposals that have been put forth by multiple organizations and space agencies in this field of space exploration. Nonetheless, a human mission to Mars has been criticized for minimizing the "harsh realities and bitter truths that underlie the dream".

In terms of the current U.S. space program, NASA's long-term program Orion has a projected pace of development such that, as of late 2014, human spaceflight to Mars is anticipated in about 2035. That mission will be preceded by shorter flights for the up to four-person capsule involved, with experiments taking place to better the technologies protecting Mars-bound astronauts from the radiation of deep space. KSNN

KSNN (103.7 FM, "Sunny 103") is a radio station licensed to serve Ridgway, Colorado, USA. The station, established in 2002, is currently owned by Cherry Creek Radio and the broadcast license is held by CCR-Montrose IV, LLC.

Programming

KSNN broadcasts an adult contemporary music format. In addition to its usual music programming, KSNN also airs Delta Panthers high school football games.

History

This station received its original construction permit from the Federal Communications Commission on March 24, 1999. The new station was assigned the KBNG call sign by the FCC on May 10, 1999. KBNG received its license to cover from the FCC on August 19, 2002.

In December 2002, Idaho Broadcasting Consortium, Inc., reached an agreement to sell this station to the Woodland Communications Corporation for $300,000. The deal was approved by the FCC on January 23, 2003, and the transaction was consummated on March 11, 2003.

In July 2004, Woodland Communications Corporation reached an agreement to sell this station to Cherry Creek Radio through their CCR-Montrose IV, LLC, subsidiary as part of a three-station deal valued at a reported $2.65 million. The deal was approved by the FCC on August 19, 2004, and the transaction was consummated on October 5, 2004.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is the agency of the United States Federal Government responsible for the civilian space program as well as aeronautics and aerospace research.

President Dwight D. Eisenhower established the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in 1958 with a distinctly civilian (rather than military) orientation encouraging peaceful applications in space science. The National Aeronautics and Space Act was passed on July 29, 1958, disestablishing NASA's predecessor, the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA). The new agency became operational on October 1, 1958.

Since that time, most US space exploration efforts have been led by NASA, including the Apollo moon-landing missions, the Skylab space station, and later the Space Shuttle. Currently, NASA is supporting the International Space Station and is overseeing the development of the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, the Space Launch System and Commercial Crew vehicles. The agency is also responsible for the Launch Services Program (LSP) which provides oversight of launch operations and countdown management for unmanned NASA launches.
