A Man

A Man (1979) (Italian: Un Uomo) (Greek: Ένας Άνδρας, transliteration: Enas Andras) is a novel written by Oriana Fallaci chronicling her relationship with the attempted assassin of Greek dictator George Papadopoulos.

Plot summary

The book is a pseudo-biography about Alexandros Panagoulis written in the form of a novel. Fallaci had an intense romantic relationship with Panagoulis. She uses the novel to put forth her view that Panagoulis was assassinated by a vast conspiracy, a view widely shared by many Greeks.

The work has had mixed reviews. Some will find the harsh polemic repetitive and disturbing. Fallaci is said to have been angry at Ms Magazine for not reviewing the work and this enhanced her reputation as an anti-feminist.

Nick Skitz

Nicholas Agamalis, better known as Nick Skitz, is an Australian DJ and dance music producer whose career in dance music started in the early 1990s. Since 1995, his Skitzmix series of compilations have become well known in Australian dance circles for featuring remixes and megamixes of well-known dance songs and are the best selling DJ compilations in Australia.

Biography

Skitz began working for dance label Pro-DJ International in the early 1990s.

He quickly became involved with the successful dance label Central Station records once Pro-DJ folded and began remixing tracks for the label's artists, Australian and international. Remixes of the "X-Files Theme" (Triple X) and "Excalibur" (FCB, and later Skitz's own version) got him noticed and reached the Top 10 on the ARIA singles charts in Australia.

From 1996, Skitz has released assorted dance/pop compilations of the latest tracks at the time (also a promotion for the affiliated record company, Central Station).

Major charting success of Skitzmix came in late 2001, with Skitzmix 10 reaching #9 on the mainstream ARIA Albums Chart alongside artists like Creed, Shaggy and the Bridget Jones's Diary Soundtrack. During the late 90's and through the 2000s, Skitz also featured on Ministry of Sound & Wild compilations.

Not Many

"Not Many" is a hip hop single by New Zealand rapper Scribe, taken from his debut album, The Crusader. It was released as a double A-side with "Stand Up".

Background and recording

"Not Many" was written by Scribe and P-Money. Chip Matthews performed bass and P-Money produced the track. It was recorded by Chris Macro and mixed by Chris Chetland and P-Money at Kog Transmissions. According to P-Money, "Not Many" was recorded and mixed in less than six hours.

Remix

A remix was released, titled "Not Many – The Remix!", featuring Savage and Con Psy. The remix went to number two on the New Zealand Singles Chart for two weeks, then slipped out of the chart. It also appeared on the Australian Singles Chart for twenty-eight weeks, peaking at number twenty-one. In Australia, the remix was certified gold.

Reception

"Not Many" won the APRA Silver Scroll, an award for songwriting, at the 2004 ceremony. One of the judges said, "The winner was a stand-out, from the killer opening bars to the brattish bravado of the chorus." At the 2004 New Zealand Music Awards, "Not Many - The Remix!" won the Songwriter of the Year award.

Pirates of the Caribbean (pinball)

Pirates of the Caribbean is a pinball machine produced by Stern Pinball. It is based on the motion picture franchise of the same name and was advertised with the slogan "The Greatest Pinball Adventure Of All-Time!".
