Veteran Tamil film producer Chithra Ramu has passed away in Chennai. He was 73 when he breathed his last due to a prolonged illness..
Ramu is the elder brother of popular director, actor and producer Lakshmanan known as Chithra Lakshmanan. The brothers have produced films like 'Vaazhkkai','Soora Samharam' 'Jallikattu' and 'Chinnappadas' among others.
Chithra Rami is survived by his wife Thangam, two sons Vijay Saravanan and Vijay Karthik and daughter Guhapriya.
The mortal remains has been kept for public homage at the family's Ashok Nagar residence in Chennai. Final rites will start at 5 PM today. .

Ramu
The Ramu is a river in northern Papua New Guinea. The headwaters of the river are formed in the Kratke Range from where it then travels approximately 640 kilometres (398 mi) north-west to the Bismarck Sea.
Along the Ramu's course it receives numerous tributaries from the Bismarck Range to the south and the Finisterre and Adelbert Ranges from the north. During the wet season the Ramu and Sepik Rivers join across the flood plain.
History
Local villagers have lived along the river for many millennia and the river has formed the basis for food, transport and culture.
German exploration
The area encompassed by the Ramu was part of Kaiser-Wilhelmsland when Germany established German New Guinea in 1884. The Germans were quick to explore their territory and the mouth of the Ramu was discovered in 1886 by Vice-Admiral Freiherr von Schleinitz after returning to Finschhafen from an expedition to the nearby Sepik. Schleinitz called the Ramu, Ottilien after his ship the Ottilie.
The course of the river was first discovered ten years later in 1896 after Dr Carl Lauterbach, a botanist, led an expedition organised by the Neu Guinea Kompagnie to find the headwaters of the Markham River. After crossing the Ortzen Mountains from Astrolabe Bay south of Madang, Lauterbach's party instead of finding the Markham found an unknown river flowing north-west. The party canoed along a section before their supplies dwindled they returned to the coast retracing their route.

Plot: Widower Bhagat Ram lives a wealthy lifestyle in a small village in India, along with his son, Shyam, who is an Advocate in Bombay, and makes a living as a Hindu Priest. Hoping to get a dowry of Fifty thousand Rupees, he agrees and the marriage takes place. After the ceremony he is handed a Promissory Note, and angered he and Shyam return home, leaving a devastated Shobha and the Singh family to deal with this crisis. Raju takes some cash and jewelry, hoping to placate Bhagat, but this only angers him all the more. Shyam decides to leave for Bombay. Shortly thereafter Bhagat is informed by Advocate Govind that Shobha has eloped with an unknown lover, and her mom, Parvati, has initiated legal proceedings against him. A panic-stricken Bhagat rushes to Bombay, and is shocked to find that Shyam has lost his mental balance and is in the care of a doctor and a nurse. The question that comes to mind is why did Shyam lose his mental balance? And what actually became of Shobha and who did she actually elope with?

Producer Chithra Ramu Passes Away | Sathyaraj, Chitra Lakshmanan Brother Death Video
Veteran Tamil film producer Chithra Ramu has passed away in Chennai. He was 73 when he breathed his last due to a prolonged illness.. Ramu is the elder brother of popular director, actor and producer Lakshmanan known as Chithra Lakshmanan. The brothers have produced films like 'Vaazhkkai','Soora Samharam' 'Jallikattu' and 'Chinnappadas' among others. Chithra Rami is survived by his wife Thangam, two sons Vijay Saravanan and Vijay Karthik and daughter Guhapriya. The mortal remains has been kept for public homage at the family's Ashok Nagar residence in Chennai. Final rites will start at 5 PM today. . This is the long awaited tutorial on how to overclock your RAM, especially if it is 1.5v ram.
