The Bachelorette Georgia Love falls for our city as #SnapMelbourne 2016 kicks off

The Victorian-born 28-year-old, who has also spent time working in Tasmania, has been spending her time in Sydney while filming the Network 10 show.

But it’s Melbourne that has grabbed her, which makes her the perfect choice to launch this year’s #SnapMelbourne community event, which will culminate in a national day of snapping and sharing on Wednesday, November 16.

The aim of #SnapMelbourne is simple: to bring the community together over 24 hours as we celebrate what we love about our city.

Georgia Love said: “Of all the places I’ve lived, Melbourne is and will always be home. There is so much I love about this city, from the beautiful bay to the amazing food and huge arts and sports culture. It keeps getting voted world’s most liveable city for a reason!”

So on #SnapMelbourne day we’re inviting you to share your favourite moment or just a slice of your life in pictures, hashtagging #SnapMelbourne and then posting via Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Don’t forget to fiddle with your Facebook privacy settings — if your profile isn’t public, we can’t see your fabulous photos.

As we gear up for the big day, we’ll be offering tips and tricks to take your best pics, giving you the chance to get plenty of practice.

We’ve even asked Bachelorette Love to reveal her morning routine.

“I always start my day by having a carrot, celery, apply beetroot juice,” she says.

And it turns out that’s something she does no matter what city she’s in, “whether my day starts at 4am or 10am!”
