Printed Matter presents the eighth annual NY Art Book Fair, from September 20 to 22, at MoMA PS1, Long Island City, Queens. A preview will be held on the evening of Thursday, September 19.

Free and open to the public, the NY Art Book Fair is the world’s premier event for artists’ books, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, and zines. Last year, the fair featured 283 booksellers, antiquarians, artists, and independent publishers from twenty-six countries, and was attended by more than 25,000 people.

Among the works available are books and artworks from Marcel Duchamp, Willem de Kooning, Alfred Steiglitz, Joseph Beuys, Brigid Berlin (Polk), as well as a Claes Oldenburg sculpture, a rare William Burroughs manuscript, and the Anthology Film Archive Portfolio (1982). Additional vintage artists’ books have been generously donated by the Sol LeWitt Estate. Works include pristine copies of Autobiography (1980), Four Basic Kinds of Straight Lines (1969), Incomplete Open Cubes (1974), and others. Three Star Books have kindly donated a deluxe set of their Maurizio Cattelan book edition.
