Classic! Over 15 years later and this album still sounds as fresh as ever. The production is inventive and way ahead of it's time. As a matter of fact, I haven't heard production like this since. You know you can call an album classic when you listen to it 15 years later and it's still light years ahead of everything out today (including Dr. Dre's new album "Compton" which has it's moments but is not great.) Chronic 2001 will go down as one of the top hiphop albums of all time.

Takes time for you to appreciate it The first time I heard this, I thought that this album is just good beats and bad lyrics. But after a while I noticed that there are some good moments. Wouldn't get all the songs but most are good. Look for tracks with Snoop Dogg & Eminem. They outshine the rest of the artists, even Dre

Great comeback album for Dre and introduction for Eminem Now days everbody wanna talk like they got something to say but nothing comes out when they move their lips just a bunch of jibberish and motha f***** act like forgot about Dre

Instant Classic! I can still remember driving to the mall in a blizzard to buy this album the day it came out. Still listen to it to this day and feel like I did the first time I listened to it. Just bought it again just because it was only $.99! Can't beat that! Wish Dre would do it again.

2pac was trash. So are you if you thought he was worth anything than a digital underground backup dancer/mc. Dre? He was only good that first album. Everyone knows Yella made those crazy NWA beats.

It is definitely a Hip Hop essential This album is not like other albums. It felt like a movie more than an album to me. Dr. Dre shuts up all of the people who say that he fell off.

Ackrite Bling gold chain bling! This album still sounds sonically better than most of todays albums.. the original chronic is my favorite hip hop album of all time though! It's impact on music and the west coast sound was huge.. the golden era was the best!
Arguably the greatest album of all time. I once broke up with a girl because she had never heard this album... good riddance. Blunt in my left hand drink in my right...
The Good Old Days These were the days when rap was good and actually meant something. Before these wannabes like Big Sean and Rae Sremmurd took over the radio.
When dre was not a fake This was when real talent came out and you had to be good to be reconized. Now hes turning towards mainstream. how did things change from "never be a fake" to "being fake is okay"? makes you wonder.
Complaining People complain too much. This is one good album. I wish SOME people would just stop complaining and enjoy this album.
Still sounds brand new. This album truly makes me feel creative and moved on all musical level. Its sounds better and better each time i play it. Great work from dre. .
Not a huge dre fan but.... This album is a masterpiece. Very exciting to listen to. The beats are banging, the artist can spit, and the length of the album is epic. I mean this is hip-hop.
Changed the game Legendary, the West coast was given a breath of fresh air and this CD will always pave the way for future RAP albums. Dre is the best producer of all time. Amazing, excellent, and classic all the way.
Makes me miss those days Brings back memories off back in the day when things didn't seem so up tight. Especially xxplosive.... sigh......
Reminiscing with this album I still remember how me and the homies would kick it listening to this jams. Missing them good old days when no fucks were given haha!
Chronic 2 One of the best albums of all time miss those days but thank God for them.Where has hip hop Gone:-( makes me sad
All Tracks Awesome! Every song is awesome and it was the beginning of Marshal Mother's (EMINIUM) which blew everyone away with his crazy mad mom-girlfriend hate'n and F*** everyone who is a leach-never their for you unless you have something that will help them out kind of people! I can so relate to this album! Let's not forget the already known great rapper Snoop Dog, which with his lyrics and the tone of his voice is a real crowd pleasure and he added a lot to this album. I will always love this album and still to this day I love to thump to this music. I am a old school G that is out of the drug game, but still have some great memories when I hear this music. Rap has kind of went off in a different direction now than just hard core rapper's but it expands the industry in a wider audience. I just got to say I never forgot you Dr. Dre from your first Chronic album which was off the chain! I'd give it 6 stars if I could!!!
Remember when Eminem sounded like a bad a$$? What happened? Dre up.
Hall of Fame of Hip Hop This Album is still spinning in my ear since the day it was released. I actually re-downloaded it just to have a digital copy for my phone. Cronic 2001 is a must have for anyone. Now when is Dre releasing his follow-up to this album.
Awesome The best album he ever did.... Now this is rap unlike lil Wayne and tyga and Drake and birdman they Freaking stuck
The Chronic One of the top 10 rap albums of all time. If someone said it was number1, I wouldn't argue.
Better than crap these days. Em and Dre, can't fill those shoes. Nostalgic music though takes me back to my teenage years
This is This is the most amazing and complete rap album ever made! You can listen to it front to back and never get sick of it
When hip hop sounded like hip hop It's so good to listen to this and understand what they are actually saying! I miss the days when hip hop wasn't just talking about hoes they f#@* and how much money they have.
No songs!!!!! I bought the album because I had it on my iphone that broke. After I bought it I opened it and it had no songs!!!!!! Really great album will rate 5 stars when I get my refund or I get my songs!!
Great album I only give it a 4 because its not The Chronic. Wasn't possible to live up to The Chronic. The Chronic IMO is one of the 10 most important albums of any genre of music of all time.
Amazing album This album is just outstanding. To bad they don't have The Chronic (1992)
1 There is no way to Rate this Album because this is West Coast Rap when rap was rap not like fake niggas
