Learn about the exciting new services and offerings announced during our AWS Summit in New York on August 11th, 2016.
Easily process and query streaming data in real time with standard SQL without having to learn new programming languages or processing frameworks.
Elastic Load Balancing offers a new Application Load Balancer that improves flexibility and performance for real-time and streaming applications, microservices, and container-based applications.
New Import Key feature lets you import keys from your own key management infrastructure to KMS for greater control over generation and storage of keys and meeting compliance requirements for sensitive workloads.
Snowball now offers two new APIs that streamline data workflows. One helps with 3rd party integration and the second allows you to write to Snowball as if it were an S3 bucket.
You can now define plans for third-party developers that allows you to configure which APIs the caller can access as well as define throttling and request quota limits. This allows you to easily manage and monetize your APIs.
Now you can protect EBS (and Storage Gateway) volumes at nearly half the cost, and get up to 66% more Provisioned IOPS performance.
Amazon S3 buckets can now support IPv6 (as well as IPv4) with a simple endpoint name change.
Amazon EC2 Container Service (ECS) allows you to specify a dynamic port in the ECS Task Definition, giving your container an unused port when it is scheduled on an EC2 instance. The ECS scheduler automatically adds the task to the ELB using this port.
