We’re working on providing the best possible advertising experience to everyone on the planet. To do this, advertisers must be located in one of our eligible countries, as well as tweeting in one of our supported languages.

To be eligible to advertise on the self-service platform, small business advertisers must have an account in one of the more than 200 supported countries. Twitter Ads supports numerous countries including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, Ecuador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Bahasa Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the United States. For a full list of countries eligible for the Twitter Ads platform, please refer to the section below.

In addition to being located in one of the eligible countries, advertisers must also be Tweeting in a supported Twitter Ads language. Some of these languages include: Afrikaans, Bahasa, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, German, Hebrew, Portuguese, Japanese, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish or Danish. For a full list of supported languages, please refer to the “Supported Languages” section below.

If you do not see your country listed, or would like to confirm whether your country/language is eligible to advertiser on the Twitter Ads platform, please submit a sales support ticket via the “Help?” button on ads.twitter.com.

Twitter prohibits advertisements targeted to, and advertiser accounts from countries subject to US trade sanctions and other US export control laws. Individuals and entities subject to US trade sanctions are also prohibited from signing up for a Twitter Ads account. 

The most successful advertisers on Twitter tend to be those who are avid Twitter users. This means they have a history of sharing exceptional content and engaging with their followers. If you are interested in advertising but your account is fairly new, be sure to complete your account’s Twitter profile and spend a few weeks familiarizing yourself with Twitter’s best practices. • Protected Tweets - Twitter users can protect their Tweets in order to control who can view them. This setting is not currently supported within Twitter Ads. If your Tweets are protected and you are interested in advertising, you will first need to make your Tweets public from your Settings page. Please see About public and protected Tweets for details about making this change.
• Deactivated accounts -  Accounts cannot participate in Twitter Ads if they have been deactivated by their owner. Please see "Reactivating your account" for more details.
• Suspended accounts -  Accounts cannot participate in Twitter Ads if they are in a suspended state at the time they apply. Please see "My account is suspended" for more details.

If you would like your account to be reviewed by our team, please file a support ticket. To do this, log in to ads.twitter.com and file a support ticket using the "Help?" button in the top right corner of your ads dashboard.
