With the launch of the PlayStation 4 Pro, the era of 4K gaming has officially begun.

That’s the primary selling point of Sony’s mid-cycle console refresh — it’s the first-ever 4K console. NES Classic Edition review: A box of nostalgia

NES Classic Edition review: A box of nostalgia

November 4th at 3:16 PM

Rather than launch a new console this holiday season to compete with the Xbox One S and PS4 Pro, Nintendo decided to jam a bunch of old games into a mini NES, slap a $60 price tag on it and hope that nostalgia would sell.

Although we’re still a week from release, I have a feeling this gamble is going to not only pay off for Nintendo, but help to establish goodwill with gamers as well.

Every game that will feature PS4 Pro support at launch

With just a week left until the release of the PlayStation 4 Pro, Sony has unveiled a list of 39 games that will be compatible with the 4K console at launch.

There was some concern about how substantial the list of supported games would be on launch day, but much like with PlayStation VR, Sony wants to come out swinging. The list includes a diverse collection of third-party games, first-party games, virtual reality experiences and well-received indie titles.

Report: Nintendo will finally kill the Wii U

Four years after launching the console back in 2012, Nintendo will reportedly end Wii U production for good on Friday, November 4th.

Multiple sources informed Eurogamer on Tuesday that this was not the case, and that the age of the Wii U had come to an end.

‘Battlefield 1’ review: Make war matter again

What does it take to reinvigorate a video game franchise?

Although I was impressed with Battlefield Hardline, it wasn’t really much of a Battlefield game. Battlefield 1 might be the best game in the series since Bad Company 2.
