This is the first review of 4 aboard Emirates Airlines in Business Class, whole trip was Zurich-Dubai-Seychelles and back! This video reviews the ZRH-DXB leg on the A380!
The business class on Emirates A380 is one of the best out there, among Singapores and other premium carrier C classes. The seat is great and you get a lot of privacy, all seats have aisle access and are featured with several nice features, like the minibar or a great amount of touchscreens ;) But have a look yourself in the report!
The crew of my flight was amazing, really cared for every passenger. I don't know how it was in economy but I had my personal FA who pampered me really good! :)
The food was awesome too, very good quality and wheew I was filled up pretty good!

Russia's already weak economy has been hit more than most by the global financial crisis.
Millions of angry workers are now taking part in nationwide protests against unpaid wages, job losses and soaring inflation.

Baku - the capital of Azerbaijan - and the fulcrum of the next great oil boom - or bust.
Estimates of the Caspian Sea region's oil reserves range from 50 billion barrels to two hundred billion.
That's a lot of black gold.
Everybody wants a piece of the action.
In fact, the Caspian Sea region's oil rush has been nicknamed the new "Great Game" - the term coined for the 19th-century rivalry in Central Asia between imperial powers Russia and Great Britain.
Extracting the oil is the easy part.
The rub is getting it to market.
The old Soviet pipeline travels north through Russia.
It carries 70-thousand barrels a day to a Black Sea port.
Oil revenues are a lifeline for the ailing Russian economy.
But, already under construction is a so-called Western pipeline that will run to the Georgian Black Sea port of Supsa.
And in the pipeline, so to speak, is a new super pipeline.
Its route hasn't been decided yet.
But we'll know soon, by the end of October.
It'll be one of the important decisions taken this century.
It has huge implications for the balance of power - and wealth - in central Asia.
Russia, needless to say, wants the super pipeline to run north.
Iran wants it go south.
The U-S and Turkey want it to go West.
The route is likely to determine the winner of the new Great Game.

Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov on Thursday and had a talk with him on the sideline of the 16th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan.
Xi pointed out that China attaches great importance to its relationship with Turkmenistan, and is willing to make joint efforts with Turkmenistan to further improve the cooperation in various fields and enrich the connotation of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Xi stressed that the cooperation in the field of energy is a major part in the strategic partnership between the two countries. To well-perform the energy cooperation will be beneficial to the economic and social development for both countries.
The Chinese enterprises in Turkmenistan should actively get involved in the host country's public welfare undertakings while operating their business there, so as to return goodwill to the local people, Xi said.
China appreciates the support and participation of Turkmenistan in the "One Belt, One Road" construction, and expects it to take effective measures to improve infrastructure facilities for transportation, he said.
Xi said China is willing to start industrial cooperation with Turkmenistan, and continue to explore the way for bilateral agricultural cooperation. Both sides should keep a close contact in humanity cooperation.
Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov said that the strategic partnership of the two countries is consolidated. Turkmenistan is willing to have close government-to-government, parliament-to-parliament and people-to-people exchanges with China, while deepening cooperation in economy and trade, energy, logistics, telecommunication, high technology, humanity and international affairs.
He said Turkmenistan will adhere to the One-China policy and take an active part in the "One Belt and One road" construction.

A new railway will link the three nations of Iran, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, to boost trade and shorten travel time. It was unveiled by the presidents of the three countries in a spectacular inauguration ceremony in Turkmenistan.
The project will also give easier access to the Gulf, Sea of Oman, China and Europe for Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

NOTE: Before I get started I just want to say this video is not sponsored or affiliate with Japan Airlines at all. I just happen to luckily have a flight with Japan Airlines, and I made a video. All opinions are my own.
I was in Phoenix, Arizona, and I had a flight to Singapore (with a different airline), and my wife and I were supposed to fly from Phoenix to Los Angeles to Hong Kong and finally to Singapore. It just so happened that our very first flight, which was just to Los Angeles, was delays by a couple of hours, which caused us to miss our flight from LA to Hong Kong and our flight to Singapore. But no worries, I try to be as positive as possible when there’s a flight delay or when there a problem with an airplane / staff, and rather try to be grateful that we are safe on the ground.
Anyway, we ended up finally leaving for Los Angeles, and we arrived, but yes we did miss our flight on to Hong Kong. The airline we were supposed to fly on was in the Oneworld Airline alliance. And so they figured out a route for use, using different airlines to get to Singapore, almost at the same time as we were supposed to on the other flights. For our first leg, from Los Angeles to Tokyo, we took an airline from the US, which was alright, but nothing at all to rave about - the food and service were below average.
But things really changed course when we arrived to Tokyo and stepped foot in Narita International Airport! We were immediately greeted by a lady that worked for Japan Airlines, she had our names written on a piece of paper, and we followed her to the customer service counter. They quickly issued us tickets to from Tokyo to Singapore, and they said: “You have complimentary access to the First Class Sakura Lounge.” I was pretty excited, so my wife and I rushed as fast as we could to the Japan Airlines first class lounge. The only problem, was that we only had about an hour until our flight was going to leave. Luckily we spent that hour very well, had some delicious Japanese curry and then proceeded to have a bunch of different drinks.
I immediately liked the airplane - the seats were very comfortable, and it seemed to me like the economy class seats were bigger than some airlines. We also were lucky to get a very new airplane - not sure how their full fleet is, but I think Japan Airlines has a very new flight and very well maintained as well. As soon as we stepped into the plane, the staff of Japan Airlines all greeted us and were extremely nice, genuinely nice. Since our flight wasn’t too long, I think just under seven hours, we were mainly served just one meal, which was dinner. They even gave me a menu, and I chose the miso grilled pork. Just like all food in Japan, the platter of food on Japan Airlines came very nicely displayed, in little separate containers. The meal included a number of salads and side dishes, and the main dish was rice topped with grilled pieces of pork belly and everything smothered in a thick creamy miso sauce. Of course, if you compared this meal on Japan Airlines to food you could get on the ground in Tokyo, it wouldn’t come close, but being 10,000 meters in the air, this was one of the best meals I’ve had on an airplane.
This was my first time to fly on Japan Airlines, and I have to give them an excellent review - it’s a fantastic airline - great service, great food, and very comfortable. My wife and I had an amazing flight, and arrived to Singapore to attend a food event.

STORY LINE:
Ministers from Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India signed agreements to start construction work on the much delayed TAP (Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline) pipeline project in 2010 on Thursday.
The Afghan-Turkmen pipeline project has been on hold since the 1990s, when the hardline Taliban Islamist movement came into power in Afghanistan.
The 1,680-kilometre (1,044-mile) project was revived after US-led forces toppled the Taliban in late 2001, although Afghanistan remains mired in violence, especially in its south.
Pakistan said it would ensure the safety of its portion of both pipelines.
The Pakistani Minister for Oil and Gas, Khwaja Asif, tried to explain the challenges surrounding the project.
Asif said, "projects of this kind and this magnitude, it takes time, and of course we are living in a very volatile region and that also curtails our availability to go faster".
The gas pipeline project to be completed at cost of 7.6 (bn) billion US dollars (4.85 (b) billion euros) will start supplying 3.2 (bn) billion cubic feet of gas per day through a 56 inch (1.43 metre) diameter pipeline from the Dauletabad Field in Turkmenistan to Fazilka at the Pakistan-India border, passing through Herat and Kandahar in Afghanistan and Multan in Pakistan.
Peter Fedon, the country director for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) which facilitated the meeting, said at the news conference, "we believe that this is the way forward to support, to promote, economic development and reduce poverty. And this project has all the hallmarks of a flagship project of regional cooperation between the four involved parties".
ADB agreed to take up the issue of a comprehensive review of the feasibility study in order to move forward to the next phase of inviting investor interest in the project.
While in Islamabad, delegates from Pakistan, Iran and India also sat down to discuss another separate multi billion dollar gas pipeline project - one opposed by the United States.

Turkmenistan has been at the crossroads of civilizations for centuries. In medieval times, Merv was one of the great cities of the Islamic world and an important stop on the Silk Road, a caravan route used for trade with China until the mid-15th century. Annexed by the Russian Empire in 1881, Turkmenistan later figured prominently in the anti-Bolshevik movement in Central Asia. In 1924, Turkmenistan became a constituent republic of the Soviet Union, Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic (Turkmen SSR); it became independent upon the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991.
Turkmenistan possesses the world's fourth largest reserves of natural gas resources. Most of the country is covered by the Karakum (Black Sand) Desert. Since 1993, citizens have received government-provided electricity, water and natural gas free of charge.

And in the pipeline, so to speak, is a new super pipeline. Its route hasn't been decided yet. But we'll know soon, by the end of October. It'll be one of the important decisions taken this century. It has huge implications for the balance of power - and wealth - in central Asia. Russia, needless to say, wants the super pipeline to run north. Iran wants it go south. Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov on Thursday and had a talk with him on the sideline of the 16th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan. Xi pointed out that China attaches great importance to its relationship with Turkmenistan, and is willing to make joint efforts with Turkmenistan to further improve the cooperation in various fields and enrich the connotation of the strategic partnership between the two countries. Xi stressed that the cooperation in the field of energy is a major part in the strategic partnership between the two countries. To well-perform the energy cooperation will be beneficial to the economic and social development for both countries. The Chinese enterprises in Turkmenistan should actively get involved in the host country's public welfare undertakings while operating their business there, so as to return goodwill to the local people, Xi said. China appreciates the support and participation of Turkmenistan in the "One Belt, One Road" construction, and expects it to take effective measures to improve infrastructure facilities for transportation, he said. Xi said China is willing to start industrial cooperation with Turkmenistan, and continue to explore the way for bilateral agricultural cooperation. Both sides should keep a close contact in humanity cooperation. Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov said that the strategic partnership of the two countries is consolidated. I just happen to luckily have a flight with Japan Airlines, and I made a video. All opinions are my own. I was in Phoenix, Arizona, and I had a flight to Singapore (with a different airline), and my wife and I were supposed to fly from Phoenix to Los Angeles to Hong Kong and finally to Singapore. It just so happened that our very first flight, which was just to Los Angeles, was delays by a couple of hours, which caused us to miss our flight from LA to Hong Kong and our flight to Singapore. But no worries, I try to be as positive as possible when there’s a flight delay or when there a problem with an airplane / staff, and rather try to be grateful that we are safe on the ground. Anyway, we ended up finally leaving for Los Angeles, and we arrived, but yes we did miss our flight on to Hong Kong. The airline we were supposed to fly on was in the Oneworld Airline alliance. And so they figured out a route for use, using different airlines to get to Singapore, almost at the same time as we were supposed to on the other flights. For our first leg, from Los Angeles to Tokyo, we took an airline from the US, which was alright, but nothing at all to rave about - the food and service were below average. But things really changed course when we arrived to Tokyo and stepped foot in Narita International Airport! We were immediately greeted by a lady that worked for Japan Airlines, she had our names written on a piece of paper, and we followed her to the customer service counter. They quickly issued us tickets to from Tokyo to Singapore, and they said: “You have complimentary access to the First Class Sakura Lounge.” I was pretty excited, so my wife and I rushed as fast as we could to the Japan Airlines first class lounge. The only problem, was that we only had about an hour until our flight was going to leave. Luckily we spent that hour very well, had some delicious Japanese curry and then proceeded to have a bunch of different drinks. I immediately liked the airplane - the seats were very comfortable, and it seemed to me like the economy class seats were bigger than some airlines. We also were lucky to get a very new airplane - not sure how their full fleet is, but I think Japan Airlines has a very new flight and very well maintained as well. As soon as we stepped into the plane, the staff of Japan Airlines all greeted us and were extremely nice, genuinely nice. Since our flight wasn’t too long, I think just under seven hours, we were mainly served just one meal, which was dinner. They even gave me a menu, and I chose the miso grilled pork. Just like all food in Japan, the platter of food on Japan Airlines came very nicely displayed, in little separate containers. The meal included a number of salads and side dishes, and the main dish was rice topped with grilled pieces of pork belly and everything smothered in a thick creamy miso sauce. Of course, if you compared this meal on Japan Airlines to food you could get on the ground in Tokyo, it wouldn’t come close, but being 10,000 meters in the air, this was one of the best meals I’ve had on an airplane. This was my first time to fly on Japan Airlines, and I have to give them an excellent review - it’s a fantastic airline - great service, great food, and very comfortable. My wife and I had an amazing flight, and arrived to Singapore to attend a food event. Wide of news conference STORY LINE: Ministers from Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India signed agreements to start construction work on the much delayed TAP (Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline) pipeline project in 2010 on Thursday. The Afghan-Turkmen pipeline project has been on hold since the 1990s, when the hardline Taliban Islamist movement came into power in Afghanistan. The 1,680-kilometre (1,044-mile) project was revived after US-led forces toppled the Taliban in late 2001, although Afghanistan remains mired in violence, especially in its south. Pakistan said it would ensure the safety of its portion of both pipelines. The Pakistani Minister for Oil and Gas, Khwaja Asif, tried to explain the challenges surrounding the project. Asif said, "projects of this kind and this magnitude, it takes time, and of course we are living in a very volatile region and that also curtails our availability to go faster". The gas pipeline project to be completed at cost of 7.6 (bn) billion US dollars (4.85 (b) billion euros) will start supplying 3.2 (bn) billion cubic feet of gas per day through a 56 inch (1.43 metre) diameter pipeline from the Dauletabad Field in Turkmenistan to Fazilka at the Pakistan-India border, passing through Herat and Kandahar in Afghanistan and Multan in Pakistan. Peter Fedon, the country director for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) which facilitated the meeting, said at the news conference, "we believe that this is the way forward to support, to promote, economic development and reduce poverty. And this project has all the hallmarks of a flagship project of regional cooperation between the four involved parties". ADB agreed to take up the issue of a comprehensive review of the feasibility study in order to move forward to the next phase of inviting investor interest in the project. While in Islamabad, delegates from Pakistan, Iran and India also sat down to discuss another separate multi billion dollar gas pipeline project - one opposed by the United States. This is the first review of 4 aboard Emirates Airlines in Business Class, whole trip was Zurich-Dubai-Seychelles and back! This video reviews the ZRH-DXB leg on the A380! The business class on Emirates A380 is one of the best out there, among Singapores and other premium carrier C classes. The seat is great and you get a lot of privacy, all seats have aisle access and are featured with several nice features, like the minibar or a great amount of touchscreens ;) But have a look yourself in the report! The crew of my flight was amazing, really cared for every passenger. Good to see you made it to one of my reviews! Hope you get what you expected!
This is the first review of 4 aboard Emirates Airlines in Business Class, whole trip was Zurich-Dubai-Seychelles and back! This video reviews the ZRH-DXB leg on the A380!
The business class on Emirates A380 is one of the best out there, among Singapores and other premium carrier C classes. The seat is great and you get a lot of privacy, all seats have aisle access and are featured with several nice features, like the minibar or a great amount of touchscreens ;) But have a look yourself in the report!
The crew of my flight was amazing, really cared for every passenger. I don't know how it was in economy but I had my personal FA who pampered me really good! :)
The food was awesome too, very good quality and wheew I was filled up pretty good!

Russia's already weak economy has been hit more than most by the global financial crisis.
Millions of angry workers are now taking part in nationwide protests against unpaid wages, job losses and soaring inflation.

Baku - the capital of Azerbaijan - and the fulcrum of the next great oil boom - or bust.
Estimates of the Caspian Sea region's oil reserves range from 50 billion barrels to two hundred billion.
That's a lot of black gold.
Everybody wants a piece of the action.
In fact, the Caspian Sea region's oil rush has been nicknamed the new "Great Game" - the term coined for the 19th-century rivalry in Central Asia between imperial powers Russia and Great Britain.
Extracting the oil is the easy part.
The rub is getting it to market.
The old Soviet pipeline travels north through Russia.
It carries 70-thousand barrels a day to a Black Sea port.
Oil revenues are a lifeline for the ailing Russian economy.
But, already under construction is a so-called Western pipeline that will run to the Georgian Black Sea port of Supsa.
And in the pipeline, so to speak, is a new super pipeline.
Its route hasn't been decided yet.
But we'll know soon, by the end of October.
It'll be one of the important decisions taken this century.
It has huge implications for the balance of power - and wealth - in central Asia.
Russia, needless to say, wants the super pipeline to run north.
Iran wants it go south.
The U-S and Turkey want it to go West.
The route is likely to determine the winner of the new Great Game.

Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov on Thursday and had a talk with him on the sideline of the 16th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan.
Xi pointed out that China attaches great importance to its relationship with Turkmenistan, and is willing to make joint efforts with Turkmenistan to further improve the cooperation in various fields and enrich the connotation of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Xi stressed that the cooperation in the field of energy is a major part in the strategic partnership between the two countries. To well-perform the energy cooperation will be beneficial to the economic and social development for both countries.
The Chinese enterprises in Turkmenistan should actively get involved in the host country's public welfare undertakings while operating their business there, so as to return goodwill to the local people, Xi said.
China appreciates the support and participation of Turkmenistan in the "One Belt, One Road" construction, and expects it to take effective measures to improve infrastructure facilities for transportation, he said.
Xi said China is willing to start industrial cooperation with Turkmenistan, and continue to explore the way for bilateral agricultural cooperation. Both sides should keep a close contact in humanity cooperation.
Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov said that the strategic partnership of the two countries is consolidated. Turkmenistan is willing to have close government-to-government, parliament-to-parliament and people-to-people exchanges with China, while deepening cooperation in economy and trade, energy, logistics, telecommunication, high technology, humanity and international affairs.
He said Turkmenistan will adhere to the One-China policy and take an active part in the "One Belt and One road" construction.

NOTE: Before I get started I just want to say this video is not sponsored or affiliate with Japan Airlines at all. I just happen to luckily have a flight with Japan Airlines, and I made a video. All opinions are my own.
I was in Phoenix, Arizona, and I had a flight to Singapore (with a different airline), and my wife and I were supposed to fly from Phoenix to Los Angeles to Hong Kong and finally to Singapore. It just so happened that our very first flight, which was just to Los Angeles, was delays by a couple of hours, which caused us to miss our flight from LA to Hong Kong and our flight to Singapore. But no worries, I try to be as positive as possible when there’s a flight delay or when there a problem with an airplane / staff, and rather try to be grateful that we are safe on the ground.
Anyway, we ended up finally leaving for Los Angeles, and we arrived, but yes we did miss our flight on to Hong Kong. The airline we were supposed to fly on was in the Oneworld Airline alliance. And so they figured out a route for use, using different airlines to get to Singapore, almost at the same time as we were supposed to on the other flights. For our first leg, from Los Angeles to Tokyo, we took an airline from the US, which was alright, but nothing at all to rave about - the food and service were below average.
But things really changed course when we arrived to Tokyo and stepped foot in Narita International Airport! We were immediately greeted by a lady that worked for Japan Airlines, she had our names written on a piece of paper, and we followed her to the customer service counter. They quickly issued us tickets to from Tokyo to Singapore, and they said: “You have complimentary access to the First Class Sakura Lounge.” I was pretty excited, so my wife and I rushed as fast as we could to the Japan Airlines first class lounge. The only problem, was that we only had about an hour until our flight was going to leave. Luckily we spent that hour very well, had some delicious Japanese curry and then proceeded to have a bunch of different drinks.
I immediately liked the airplane - the seats were very comfortable, and it seemed to me like the economy class seats were bigger than some airlines. We also were lucky to get a very new airplane - not sure how their full fleet is, but I think Japan Airlines has a very new flight and very well maintained as well. As soon as we stepped into the plane, the staff of Japan Airlines all greeted us and were extremely nice, genuinely nice. Since our flight wasn’t too long, I think just under seven hours, we were mainly served just one meal, which was dinner. They even gave me a menu, and I chose the miso grilled pork. Just like all food in Japan, the platter of food on Japan Airlines came very nicely displayed, in little separate containers. The meal included a number of salads and side dishes, and the main dish was rice topped with grilled pieces of pork belly and everything smothered in a thick creamy miso sauce. Of course, if you compared this meal on Japan Airlines to food you could get on the ground in Tokyo, it wouldn’t come close, but being 10,000 meters in the air, this was one of the best meals I’ve had on an airplane.
This was my first time to fly on Japan Airlines, and I have to give them an excellent review - it’s a fantastic airline - great service, great food, and very comfortable. My wife and I had an amazing flight, and arrived to Singapore to attend a food event.

NOTE: Before I get started I just want to say this video is not sponsored or affiliate with Japan Airlines at all. I just happen to luckily have a flight with Japan Airlines, and I made a video. All opinions are my own.
I was in Phoenix, Arizona, and I had a flight to Singapore (with a different airline), and my wife and I were supposed to fly from Phoenix to Los Angeles to Hong Kong and finally to Singapore. It just so happened that our very first flight, which was just to Los Angeles, was delays by a couple of hours, which caused us to miss our flight from LA to Hong Kong and our flight to Singapore. But no worries, I try to be as positive as possible when there’s a flight delay or when there a problem with an airplane / staff, and rather try to be grateful that we are safe on the ground.
Anyway, we ended up finally leaving for Los Angeles, and we arrived, but yes we did miss our flight on to Hong Kong. The airline we were supposed to fly on was in the Oneworld Airline alliance. And so they figured out a route for use, using different airlines to get to Singapore, almost at the same time as we were supposed to on the other flights. For our first leg, from Los Angeles to Tokyo, we took an airline from the US, which was alright, but nothing at all to rave about - the food and service were below average.
But things really changed course when we arrived to Tokyo and stepped foot in Narita International Airport! We were immediately greeted by a lady that worked for Japan Airlines, she had our names written on a piece of paper, and we followed her to the customer service counter. STORY LINE:
Ministers from Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India signed agreements to start construction work on the much delayed TAP (Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline) pipeline project in 2010 on Thursday.
The Afghan-Turkmen pipeline project has been on hold since the 1990s, when the hardline Taliban Islamist movement came into power in Afghanistan.
The 1,680-kilometre (1,044-mile) project was revived after US-led forces toppled the Taliban in late 2001, although Afghanistan remains mired in violence, especially in its south.
Pakistan said it would ensure the safety of its portion of both pipelines.
The Pakistani Minister for Oil and Gas, Khwaja Asif, tried to explain the challenges surrounding the project.
Asif said, "projects of this kind and this magnitude, it takes time, and of course we are living in a very volatile region and that also curtails our availability to go faster".
The gas pipeline project to be completed at cost of 7.6 (bn) billion US dollars (4.85 (b) billion euros) will start supplying 3.2 (bn) billion cubic feet of gas per day through a 56 inch (1.43 metre) diameter pipeline from the Dauletabad Field in Turkmenistan to Fazilka at the Pakistan-India border, passing through Herat and Kandahar in Afghanistan and Multan in Pakistan.
Peter Fedon, the country director for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) which facilitated the meeting, said at the news conference, "we believe that this is the way forward to support, to promote, economic development and reduce poverty. And this project has all the hallmarks of a flagship project of regional cooperation between the four involved parties".
ADB agreed to take up the issue of a comprehensive review of the feasibility study in order to move forward to the next phase of inviting investor interest in the project.
While in Islamabad, delegates from Pakistan, Iran and India also sat down to discuss another separate multi billion dollar gas pipeline project - one opposed by the United States.

Turkmenistan is situated in the western part of Central Asia. In the North and North-East it borders with republics of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, in the South and South-East it borders with Islamic republics of Iran and Afghanistan, and on the west side it is surrounded by the Caspian Sea. The territory of Turkmenistan is 491,2 thousand square kilometers. The territory spreads on 1100 kilometers from the west to the east and on 650 kilometers from the north to the south.
Turkmenistan is a country of the oldest civilizations having made a significant contribution to the development of the world culture. Modern Turkmenistan borders were first to appear in the world along with India and Middle East. Historical sources prove that in the III-II millennium BC two big states, which consolidated nations living far from each other in the desert and river valleys, were established on the territory of present-day Turkmenistan.
Known as Scythians, Massagets, Saks, Dakhs in the whole Asia and Europe, our ancestors had created powerful, mighty states uniting many peoples in different period of time. In all, Turkmens established over seventy big and small states throughout their legendary history in all parts of Asia and Eastern Europe. How did our forefathers govern the lands they reigned on? How did they manage to preserve peace and order there?
There is only one answer: the same character of a Turkmen and tender harmony of his soul. Turkmens have at all times remained courteous people devoted to the traditions of hospitality. They treated a guest as the messenger of Allah. Hence, there is a proverb: “The guest is higher than father”.
Being people of word and honour, Turkmens had always fulfilled the obligations under treaties and agreements concluded with other states.” Any Turkmen if he gave his word, would break it in no way, even should it threaten his life and freedom”, wrote a traveler in the remote past with amazement and without envy.

In addition to their advance along the Turkish border, the Syrian Armed Forces have reopened the Kassab Highway after closing it two years ago due to the Turkish-backed Islamist rebels threatening this large roadway from that begins in the historically Armenian village of Kassab.

He's even renamed the days of the week after his dead mother. "He's clearly a paranoid leader with very strange sorts of behavioural patterns," states political analyst David Lewis. "He is brutal and violent." Former foreign minister Avdy Kuliev agrees. "He's imprisoned many prominent people -- all of them subjected to tortures, horrendous tortures." Turkmenistan has one of the lowest life expectancy rates in region. Most of the people live in crushing poverty but an atmosphere of fear and intimidation prevents anyone speaking out.

The war grew out of the unrest of the 2011 Arab Spring and escalated to armed conflict after President Bashar al-Assad's government violently repressed protests calling for his removal.[89] The war is now being fought among several factions: the Syrian Government, a loose alliance of Syrian Arab rebel groups, the Syrian Democratic Forces, Salafi jihadist groups (including al-Nusra Front) who often co-operate with the rebels, and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). The factions receive substantial support from foreign actors, leading many to label the conflict a proxy war waged by both regional and global powers.[90][91][92]
Under the Assad regime, Syria went through significant neoliberal economic reform. This reform exacerbated disparities in wealth, which combined with a recession and several years of drought led to the spread of the Arab Spring to Syria. Protests quickly spread to the predominantly Kurdish areas of northern Syria.
Syrian opposition groups formed the Free Syrian Army and seized control of the area surrounding Aleppo and parts of southern Syria. Over time, factions of the Syrian opposition split from their original moderate position to pursue an Islamist vision for Syria as al-Nusra Front and ISIL.[93] In the north, Syrian government forces largely withdrew to fight the FSA, allowing the Kurdish YPG to move in and claim de facto autonomy.[94] In 2015 the YPG joined forces with Arab, Assyrian, Armenian and Turkmen groups forming the Syrian Democratic Forces.
