Vox Popoli: The reality of identity

This is only the beginning. Identity>Culture>Politics. There is no more "Republican" vs "Democrat". It is now whites vs non-whites and white quislings. All long-term strategies now need to revolve around demographics, not ideological policies.

Note that the majority of white women voted for Trump. Less than one-third of non-white women did. This indicates that feminism and female suffrage, for all that they are a serious problem, are actually less dyscivic than diversity.

I'd seen polls that had White women giving a distinct advantage in both the popular and EC Vote. Its long been clear that if only whites voted most liberal candidates wouldn't stand a chance.

I'm a little surprised if Trump only pulled 13% of black male voters and 33% of Hispanic male voters. I'd have put those numbers about 10 and 15 points higher respectively (to discount against the female black and Hispanic votes to get a result of about 18 and 43 overall).

Working white men and women, as an identity came out in droves.

Or to approach the question a little differently from Vox, your mistake is in the phrase "latinos and blacks". They don't see each other as natural allies and certainly don't work together well. So what you end up with is three separate demographics: whites, latinos, blacks.

If Trump keeps his promise, illegal latinos are going back home one way or another, and one hopes legal immigration will decrease too. American blacks are already aborting their children at the highest rate of any minority, and I'm not aware of significant numbers of non-American blacks immigrating.

What we need now is more white babies.

1. Toss the whole idea of "outreach" programs consisting of More Welfares under the bus.

2. Secure the border. A 5-year immigration ban, followed by limited immigration with no more than 10% of the total from any one country.

3. Strict enforcement of "color-blind" policies. Firm but fair.

4. Looser, simpler regulations on small business. This is a move to help ALL people have a good shot at getting ahead. See "The Bell Curve" for details.

The GOP is starting to wake up to the fact that every "outreach" program based on buying votes has been COSTING them support in their base. Trump won because he figured this out.

On the gripping hand, there's a part of me that really would like to see those "sanctuary cities" genially reminded of the fate of Atlanta in 1864, Richmond in 1865...and then burned to the ground. Followed by a decade of military occupation.

My prediction is that they'll run another caucasian as the party headliner in 2020, as the DNC will simply continue following whoever has the money/power, and they'll still be arrogant enough in 2020 that they think they can just run another one of their power brokers.

By 2024 I believe they'll run the "token" candidate.

And, anecdotally, most of the white kids I knew who'd grown up in single-parent or welfare heavy homes really resented it. They got jobs in high school, worked a lot, etc., saying they didn't want that kind of life for their future kids. A couple minorities here and there said similar, but it was mostly white kids.

Of course, the white high schooler getting a job in most of the US is nigh impossible now with illegals and retired boomers taking those jobs. Which also helps explain the rise of Trump and the Alt-Right.
