In Sessions we trust
Chris Christie, not so much. It appears - appears - as if the God-Emperor Ascendant may not be interested in business as usual.
This underlines something that was already very clear: the God-Emperor is absolutely ruthless when it comes to taking action on underperforming team members. He doesn't care how it looks, he just shuffles the deck and draws.
Chris Christie's fall from grace is now complete. It's hardly a fall from grace to remain on the team. Trump isn't the sort to cast loyalty away lightly, but he's also not going to let a man with questionable judgment in hiring and team-building remain in charge of his entire Cabinet. He might consider making Christie Secretary of Education; the man has a long history of dealing effectively with teachers.
Months after Christie, having lost his presidential primary to Donald Trump, had ambitions for becoming Trump's vice presidential candidate, Christie just suffered another dramatic fall from grace after President-elect Donald Trump shuffled his transition team three days after his surprising victory, and increased the influence of Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, one of Washington’s most vocal critics of illegal immigration, while diluting that of Christie.
According to the WSJ, Chris Christie was removed as Trump campaign transition chairman on Friday, a position that will now be filled by Vice President-elect Mike Pence, the transition team confirmed. Christie will remain on the transition team’s executive committee as a vice chairman, along with Ben Carson, both largely figured positions; they will be also joined by retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Mr. Sessions.
The most drastic change on staff was the elevation of Rick Dearborn, the staff chief of Mr. Sessions’ Washington office, into the role of transition director. The move sidelined Rich Bagger, a top ally of Mr. Christie’s who held that role for the last several months. Mr. Bagger couldn’t be reached for comment.
Aside from the now effective elimination of Chris Christie from any positions of power in the Trump team, what is notable is the rapid rise of Jeff Sessions, one of the handful of names tossed as Trump's candidate for Treasury Secretary.
This underlines something that was already very clear: the God-Emperor is absolutely ruthless when it comes to taking action on underperforming team members. He doesn't care how it looks, he just shuffles the deck and draws.

No role for Gingrich?
Glad to hear this. Shows that Trump will continue to Govern in the same way he ran his campaign. If you start pulling establishment shenanigans you are busted down and replaced by someone who is actually interested in carrying out his agenda.
"Dick Bagger couldn't be reached for comment".
Good sign, Christy was compromised. That said he was loyal when others were not, so he should be let down lightly and given some kind of position that at least preserves his face in public.
Gingrich turned and bit Trump when the entire "try to condemn" him with women thing broke back in the summer/early fall. I recall him being on Fox saying less than favorable things about the Emperor-King. While I sure would think he might be effective as a white house liaison with congress or something like that, he has shown poor judgment. I would not be surprised in Gingrich gets a big nothing.
I can't read the name Rich Bagger without wondering if his middle name is Carpet.
I wonder if he's considering Sarah Palin for any positions. I don't know if she's interested or not though. She was one of his early supporters.
One of the most powerful criticisms of Sec. Clinton that ignores her involvement in whatever is happening at the pizza place is that she never had any advisers who ever told her 'no'. She had too much loyalty to people who hadn't earned it. In 2008 campaign, her first campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle was so ineffective that she didn't know the basic rules of any state past Iowa and New Hampshire. Her replacement, Maggie Williams, had been with her since being First Lady. At this time Mills, Abedin, and others were all in place in more or less the same role they had all along.
During the Obama administration, it was the same cadre - Williams, Mills, Abedin, and several others who went with her to State. Pres. Obama had to personally approve waivers for them to have special status that allowed them to work with both the government and a private organization (the Clinton Foundation) at the same time. During the email investigation, it was revealed that Mills, a lawyer of some note, never advised Clinton or anyone that the private e-mail server was a bad idea. Never. They also never advised anyone to preserve evidence once it was requested, and they never discussed if there might be any problems with the arrangement. None of her closest circle ever told her 'No'.
During the 2015-2016 campaign, e-mails show Podesta openly griping that Mills had never told Hillary to shutdown the server, and that everyone in the campaign believed that they could minimize and dismiss the situation with a vague statement. Finally after months, they got Hillary in the same "head-space" that it was a big problem, and she gave a half-hearted apology, that she never wanted to do. The record now shows Mills and her inner circle convinced Clinton and the campaign team that they could slow walk the investigation and it would be kept under control. This backfired by allowing it to simmer once again to the surface after being at a low boil for months, just in time for the election.
Trump on the other hand expertly managed his campaign staff, and resisted press and media pressure to make changes. His got rid of his first manager not when the heat was on, but when he was over his head. But even then, doing so, he kept him close and remains good friends with him. His second manager was always supposed to be a transition, and his final campaign manager was a real industry pro, with no BS, who negotiated a big win bonus and got out of the candidates way and let "Trump by Trump". Loyalty is important, but it's also a much harder job to know when a person doesn't deserve the loyalty and when they have to be gently edged out.
Sessions is likely among the best assets Trump has in terms of his team. I am very interested to see how The Don plays his trump card.
Where to put Sessions... That's the question of the day.
can somebody link me that bimbo who was hyperventilating about Trump winning, saying that "You better fix this" and "call an ambulance, i can't breathe"?
there are SO MANY tantrums online i can't find it now.
16 members on the transition team executive committee. Much too large. Peter Thiel is on there but so are three of Trumps kids - looks weird.
"I wonder if he's considering Sarah Palin for any positions. I don't know if she's interested or not though. She was one of his early supporters."
Palin will be rewarded with something. for one she has a constituency... and two.. and everyone forgets this... she was a good governor.
As Trump has repeatedly said about Law and the Courts, as being organic (originalist), I'm curious what he might be planning when it comes to the Police Surveillance State and the IRS / foreign bank accounts debacle.
What are we going to do with all those Obamaphones?
OT: The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the German newspaper of record, mentioned in an article yesterday the alt-right and especially Mike Cernovich, Milo and Theodore Beale.
They described Mike as macho motivation coach, Milo as a troll and Vox as hardcore hater of blacks.
Of course they did not realise that Milo is not alt-right.
For those who can read German:

Trump's true genius (as seen in his business success over the years) is in selecting the right people. Mostly right, but when wrong, he's quick to correct himself. Exactly the skills needed.
As to Palin, I've read that she's being considered for Sec of Energy or Interior. She's be great at either.
Hillary for ambassador to Libya.

Finally open ANWAR for drilling
It's like Trump knows what Christie's up to. Demotes him but does not cut ties so Christie thinks he still has a chance for his GOPe overlords to circumvent Trump...kind of like a Ronald Reagan's George Bush. DJT remembers!
> and two.. and everyone forgets this... she was a good governor.
Not everyone. :)
> I'm curious what he might be planning when it comes to the Police Surveillance State and the IRS / foreign bank accounts debacle.
His instincts are pretty good, but the NSA and such are outside of his normal bailiwick, so I'm not expecting too much on that front. Nobody is perfect on everything.
> As to Palin, I've read that she's being considered for Sec of Energy or Interior. She's be great at either.
Agreed, she would be.
Newt punked out when the Trump/Access Hollywood tape was leaked. Screw him.
I can't remember where I read this, but it went something like this:
Donald Trump is a billionaire.
Donald Trump is a TV Star.
Donald Trump is a best selling author.
Donald Trump is runs one of the most successful real estate firms in the history of the world;
and, Donald Trump with no political experience just wiped the floor with the Clinton Machine with an ad hoc group of political nobody's.
Whatever this mans IQ is, his accomplishments indicate he is vastly more intelligent that anyone who has ever held elected office in America.
Now grant it, he may be an evil genius hell bent on world domination and perhaps he manipulated 60 million people into voting for in order to serve his evil purposes. But at this point, I am just gonna go with it and trust in his superior intellect.
"It's hardly a fall from grace to remain on the team. Trump isn't the sort to cast loyalty away lightly"
I was thinking the same thing. Trump promotes and demotes quickly and as necessary, but doesn't discard easily. Very good man to be in charge in my opinion.
> Whatever this mans IQ is, his accomplishments indicate he is vastly more intelligent that anyone who has ever held elected office in America.
That doesn't follow. IQ and leadership capability aren't the same thing. In fact, extremely high intelligence is often counter productive when it comes to leadership.
Newt would make a good ambassador to a country we want to annoy.

One of the reasons he is being moved off centre is probably the bridge gate thing, it has legs after all.
Well Trump is a businessman. The guy is all about good deals, and that was something yuge during the debates, you could seethat Hillary was a better politician while Trump was the better deal maker.
I guess the Repiblicans will have a smooth ride with The Donald, you know, he will grab them there and take them to a joyride, nothing can possibly go wrong.

Hillary for ambassador to Libya.
This needs to be a meme.
Also, it should be Dirty-Dozen style - if she survives the mission she gets a full pardon.
> Newt would make a good ambassador to a country we want to annoy.
UN ambassador would work.
Another illustration of my thesis that Trump is a LEADER, first and foremost. When he finds ANYTHING that gets in the way of the Make America Great Again vision, he will resolutely eliminate it or sideline it. For doing this quickly and efficiently, he will be slandered as being "ruthless" - and it will not matter to him at all because HE DOES NOT CARE what the naysayers say about him as he goes about making his vision become reality.
On another front:
A Rush caller commented that Hillary Clinton should be appointed Ambassador to Libya: she broke it, so she owns it. My only addition is: don't ask for increased security, because that call will be ignored whether it's at 3:00 AM or some other time. And keep your ass IN Libya, on the job; it's more important that you perform personal outreach to the Muslim Brotherhood on the streets there.
Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn sounds good. Wants to co-operate with Russia.
Trump's Favorite General
“An awful lot of people don’t want to be the bearer of bad tidings to a boss — especially if the boss gets upset with something he doesn’t like,” said former CIA Director Jim Woolsey, who is also a partner in Flynn Intel Group, the general’s consulting firm. “Mike plays it straight, and I don’t think he does so in an offensive way, trying to make a scrap. He is straightforward and clear. And if he thinks X is going badly, he will say, ‘that seems to be going badly for the following three reasons.’ He doesn’t dance around and try to say what the boss may want to hear.”
INteresting factoid, which I just have learned this minute:
Clinton won the popular vote (between 200-600 thousand more votes).
Each year USA grants citizenship to between 600-700 thousand people.
Most of new citizens votes Clinton (that's a reasonable assumption, I think) and though their turnover is lower usually, I've read anecdotal evidence that this year it was much higher than usual (just look at the "first voters" category - I was surprised to learn more of them voted Clinton).
Meaning that if only citizens who were US citizens for at least four years could vote, Trump would won national vote.
Meaning that this was literally the last chance to win. HIgher turnout amongst whites was almost defeated by newcomers.
Next time someone in Poland will say "we need immigrants" I will have new arguments against that insanity.
@25: Why limit it to one. Newt for UN ambassador.
Too bad he won't have to travel like we want once we kick the HQ out (Probably not happening), but it I'll live with the bonus number of countries that have to deal with him.
@5 beerme
I can't read the name Rich Bagger without wondering if his middle name is Carpet.

"It's not personal. It's just business."
That doesn't follow. IQ and leadership capability aren't the same thing. In fact, extremely high intelligence is often counter productive when it comes to leadership.
I didn't mention anything about leadership. However, your point is largely irrelevant two reasons. First, Trump leads a vast business empire, so his leadership bonafides are not in question (to me). Second, just because high intelligence is often a contra-indication to awesome leadership capabilities does not mean that it is so in this case.
Newt would make a good ambassador to a country we want to annoy.
Agreed.
I want to say, our Dark Lord once called Newt....An obnoxious little troll? I think I'm remembering it right.
Mark Levin said on Wednesday that Christie was trying to bring in a bunch of former Bush guys. That's probably a bigger problem than bridge gate.
Mark Levin should be cast into the outer darkness along with the other implacable cruzlims
Good for Trump. I've tried to express my opinions at what is supposed to be his opinion gathering site with no luck. Link below. Would appreciate it if others could try this and see if you can get through the capcha system. Good Luck.

Anybody else think it might be better to keep Sessions in the Senate?
@Vox - Have you seen Soros-owned protestors and the media has been trying to intimidate the electorate voters into not voting for Trump? They seem to seriously be trying to utterly destroy American democracy. Is this a real possibility?
They would, in theory, have a month and a half to intimidate/threaten or influence the individual electoral voters.
@34 Clinton did not win the popular vote -- we don't know that yet. MILLIONS of votes are still to be counted. These are mostly from rural areas and absentee ballots that have been mailed in and will continue to be delivered for weeks, including military votes. Absentee votes break something like 2 to 1 for GOP.
In 2012 the narrative went around that Romney had fewer votes than McCain, but that wasn't true -- the final tally was 61M for Romney whereas McCain received 60M. Trump already has 60.2M counted (HRC has 60.7M).
When all the votes are tallied it is quite possible that Trump will exceed HRC's total (albeit narrowly). Then, there will be a page 50 story in the NYTimes that mentions it in one paragraph to be forgotten with all other inconvenient facts.
Basil Makedon wrote:@34 Clinton did not win the popular vote -- we don't know that yet. MILLIONS of votes are still to be counted. .
Maybe yes, but that was not my point - my point is that in next election, fi Clinton would've won there probably would be much more than 600k per year new citizens - let's say by conservative estimates 3 millions, and let's say only 1/3 of them would vote.
Wouldn't that bury the chances of the any nativist politician?
@42 Jack, I didn't try it, because I don't have any suggestions for the man at the moment. But I wouldn't be surprised if tantrum-having leftists with some IT skills are DDOSing the site and trying to take it down. I'm sure they're bombarding it with suggestions involving physically impossible and unhealthy acts, at the least.
You might try again in a couple days when they've worn themselves out.
Pat Buchanan would be perfect for Homeland Security in my book.
I rather expect Newt to get the Department of Education.
There simply aren't many people better suited for pushing back against the degradation of history education. And none who could do it as effectively.
Trump just keeps dropping pleasant surprises. I keep getting the feeling, despite his occasional stumbles, that he really does know what he's doing. And that he really does have a Plan – which he doesn't talk about, but fulfills step by step, when the time is right. Great move, and done with perfect skill.
Btw, Danger & Play (not Cernovich, but his guest writer) called for this move a week ago. Does Trump follow Cernovich? I'd bet somebody on his close staff does. My feeling is Trump was planning this move anyway, didn't need to be advised about it.

They would, in theory, have a month and a half to intimidate/threaten or influence the individual electoral voters.
They would, in theory, declare war on half of the country.
Then they would, in theory, learn what a real threat looks like.
There are many things to pay attention to right now, this is down at the bottom of the list, along with "How will Cher leave the planet?".
She'd be great as Energy. And good as Interior.
Sarah Palin is a fine person and all, but when she was brought in early in the Trump Campaign she didn't move the needle. And she didn't make an appearance at the RNC either.
To be honest, she has an 8 year old Down's Syndrome child that she's taking care of. She's been dabbling but she's moved off the national level stage.
I prefer Sessions remains in the Senate, but it's a good problem to have. He'll be helpful wherever he is.
I enjoyed myself Wednesday morning, and we are all entitled to a good celebration of the victory on Election Day. However, we need to get right back to work immediately. The fact that Clinton won the popular vote should be an enormous red flag for us all. These people are out for blood, and if they are able to harness that demographic advantage next time around, they will use it to crucify us.
In my opinion, we need to focus our efforts on a few important priorities. Let me know what you think about these ideas:
1. Expose the Rot - Following the breadcrumbs left by Wikileaks and working hand in hand with the new alt-media and the known white hats in the FBI, Military etc. to expose the high level pederasty circle connected to the Clintons. If we get this info out into the public domain, it will be an even bigger triumph than the ascension of Trump to the presidency.
2. Win the Real Culture War - While the corrupt news media has been a brainwashing tool par excellence employed by our enemies, it pales in comparison to the awesome power of the entertainment media, which these demons also largely control. The fact that Clinton was able to handily summon so many celebrities to her cause should be an extreme cause for concern. The failure of that celebrity flotilla to get her victory should also be viewed as an opportunity. The dominant Hollywood culture machine has already been discredited on many levels. We need to continue discrediting it and exposing its poisonous message, but even more than that, we must SUPPLANT it. We need to create and foster a real and thriving counter culture that can stand on its own against Hollywood and the recording/publishing industry. Part of the reason Trump won is that there was a considerable redistribution of millennial support to his side, something very much owed to the nascent culture of Pepe and the Chans. We need more movements like this to arise. We need artists, musicians, moviemakers and other creative types on our side if we are to win the battle of hearts and minds. Believe it or not, there are a whole host of creative people, every bit as talented as the "megastars" we all know of, whose creative output never sees a wide audience simply because of their lack of access to the ever-powerful media hype machine. We need attract these people to our side and promote them as much as possible.
3. March Through the Institutions – The metapolitical battle is something we are still desperately losing. We need to infiltrate and colonize the key institutions currently occupied by our opponents. Chief among these is Academia, which remains the primary driver behind the brainwashing of the upper middle class. The average American graduate education program has been deliberately standardized to inculcate all the tenets of cultural Marxism into its pupils. Our task is to remove that component of the curriculum by any effective means available. I have a few ideas on this, but one of the most powerful is also the most simple – reinstate the eligibility of student loans for bankruptcy, and let the dynamics of the free market exorcise the Marxist patronage system from higher education. We can build a movement to push for that and other necessary reforms. Another extremely powerful institution is the Church. Notice how our opponents have sought to infiltrate and destroy Christendom from within, rather than attack it head on. By using this method of attack, our enemies unwittingly reveal to us the immense power the Church still holds, even within our fallen society. I’m not completely sure how to remove molech and baphomet from our modern nativity scene, but I believe that there is a powerful message that can be delivered by simply pointing out the misery, isolation, and sheer ugliness that the modern idolatries of feminism, LGBTism, multiculturalism have brought to our lands and pulpits.
This is exactly what the doctor ordered. Christie is not someone you want around in a significant position...he's a liberal and untrustworthy. Also, he's gotten bad publicity in the lawsuit.
2 more ideas:
4. Harden the Electoral System – I am convinced that a significant portion of Clinton’s victory in the popular vote is owed not just to the demographic deluge, but also to an utterly corrupt system that allowed her to amass tens of thousands of fraudulent votes. There needs to be a mandate at the federal level, pushing not only for universal and stringent voter ID requirements, but a systematic, meticulous and recurrent cleansing of the voter rolls of fraudulent entries. The tactic used by our opponents to resist these measures has been to frame them as attempts to disenfranchise minority voters. This idea must be ceaselessly and ruthlessly discredited as the lie it is. Another issue is the lack of paper trails for a considerable portion of the voting equipment in use. To eliminate the threat of “fraction magic”, there absolutely must be a federally mandated paper ballot trail. Our task in this sphere then, is to grow a grassroots movement to push for these reforms, providing Trump the political support to implement them.
5. Break the Rent-a-mob – After the revelations in disclosed in Project Veritas, Wikileaks, and other sources have shown, there is a well-organized and well-funded hand behind the chaos of the left. If the FBI really is Trumpland, it can be absolutely instrumental in undermining this favored tactic of the organized left, preferably under the aegis of the same anti-domestic terror laws that were leveraged so effectively against the militia movement. Ultimately though, the hand of the FBI will not be enough to complete the task. Political cover must be afforded them through the alternative media. If the FBI comes after the people organizing the riots, the legacy media WILL try to stop them by depicting the organizers as noble, non-violent “activists”. Our task is to undermine this false narrative as much as possible, giving the FBI room to crack down on the ringleaders and moneymen behind the rioters.
Aell Cher must be singing right about now: "If I could Turn back time!"
She will just have to reinvent herself with. Little help of Milo and soon he will Make Cher Great Again.
Or you can dump her in some Third Wolrd country not Named Brazil...
The opinions that Trump seems to value the most are those of his children.
Not without good reason.
I wonder if he's considering Sarah Palin for any positions... She was one of his early supporters.
Would she be better as head of ATF or EPA?
), I'm curious what he might be planning when it comes to the Police Surveillance State and the IRS / foreign bank accounts debacle.
Lets hope he punishes the left with it as equally as the left used it against the right. Make them fear leaving a tool of tyranny available.
Chelsea for ambassador to Libya.
centre is probably the bridge gate thing, it has legs after all.
No it doesn't, no matter when the bridge was fixed it would have caused the same problems. Its the equivalent to laughing about a video of Crooked Eye Clinton muff diving on a little Haitian girl who farts on her.
Dammit, now i've got to find a new posting name. Tainted.
I like that he's not afraid to yank someone underperforming. "To big to fail" will go down as Obama's tagline. I also like that the cabinet doesn't have to "look like America" (or Trudeau's Canada). I'd forgotten what hiring based on performance instead of a diversity quota looks like.
btw I realized after a post yesterday: if we can put up the First Woman President (R) we will have ultimate victory. The Dems never seem to have noticed that both British female PMs were Conservative.
"The Dems never seem to have noticed that both British female PMs were Conservative."
And I would so love to have seen a pit fight between Margaret Thatcher and Hillary Clinton. Thatcher would have had Clinton bawling her eyes out within five seconds.
This underlines something that was already very clear: the God-Emperor is absolutely ruthless when it comes to taking action on underperforming team members. He doesn't care how it looks, he just shuffles the deck and draws.
Otherwise known as winning.
They should put a paleo in charge of education, revenge for what happened in the 80s.
If I was an elector you couldn't pay me enough to go faithless at this point. I'd fear for my life.
The left might push for it but they'd need dozens of electors to switch and I doubt they'll find that many that stupid. Not with even the legacy press openly talking about how determined and pissed off the Right is.
Put Newt in charge of some dinosaur museum's fossil collection. Little damage he can do there.
@61 "Chelsea for ambassador to Libya."
Has ANYONE seen Eric Braverman? Did he get back to the Russian embassy? Is he floating down the ClintonDeath River?
Supposedly Chelsea brought him in to look over the ... "weird financial stuff" at the Foundation?

Let not forget, the President is called the Chief Executive for a reason. And even his enemies cannot deny that Trump has been, first and foremost, for the past 40 years, an Executive.
The notion that he is unable to take on the duties of the Office is absurd. Lack of experience? Please. Hes been a Boss for a long long time; he knows how to govern.
Incidentally, what executive experience did Obama have before he took office? Maybe he ran some community group on the South Side at one point? Whatever.

Christie demoted because no one is too big to fail! Bwahahahaha
Sorry, the link above is for @9.
Sarah Palin needs to go back to Wasilla and bake some brownies.
I feel completely confident that competent men are being put in charge instead of a bunch of pozzed faggy weirdo child molesters.
Say it with me: Chief Justice Palin.
For the apoplexy.
I doubt Trump will lightly forget Christie's slaying of the Rubot - IMHO one of the most critical events of the primary.
@76 - LOL!!! That would stroke-out even more people than Palin for EPA.
And I second the motion to nominate Clinton for Ambassador to Libya.
Hmmm.... Newt for Education? Interesting idea.
What about Allen West for Sec Army?
I predict the wall will be OTUB (On Time, Under Budget).
It’s encouraging to see that both Kris Kobach and Peter Thiel are members of the transition team.
Gingrich has said that he is not interested in a Cabinet position - he would prefer to serve in a policy adviser role.
Most reports say Palin is being considered for Secretary of the Interior.
@76
Say it with me: Chief Justice Palin.
Ehhh...no. Nothing personal, but I still remember Harriet Miers nomination.
So, not funny.
In fact, given the results from Wise Latina and Ginsburg and Sandra Day O'Connor, I'd be fine with no female Justices to the USSC, not now, not ever again.
Newt is weapons grade obnoxious. It might not be advisable to deploy him within the U.S.
I would rejoice at Chris Christie as Secretary of Education, or perhaps, Attorney General.
@79
It’s encouraging to see that both Kris Kobach and Peter Thiel are members of the transition team.
I cannot find the reference but I think transition team members are generally to be barred from serving in office later on. Which is a good think in the case of Thiel as he's more useful elsewhere, but Kobach really could be an asset in some role, such as head of ICE.
@81
Newt is weapons grade obnoxious. It might not be advisable to deploy him within the U.S.
Ambassador to the UN it is, then.
I still remember Harriet Miers nomination.
There's an idea: he could follow GWB's example and ask his wife whom to nominate.
I know it sounds insane, but every MSM website I visit is front paging articles about how the electoral can change their ire, and everyone supposedly wants them to. I think the Soros-linked guys might seriously try to push this through.
Edward Snowden, head of the NSA
Ron Paul, Fed Chair
Joseph Solerno, Treasury
Jill Stein, Secretary of Defense?
Just brainstorming...
@7 dh
Sec. Clinton was not so much loyal as marginally compentent. Second rate people hire third rate people.
Sarah Palin would be a good choice for interior because she would be politically helpful with the western states.
Early on Christie seemed to regret going with Trump. If life were fair he would be getting more than he is.
@22 Whatever this mans IQ is, his accomplishments indicate he is vastly more intelligent that anyone who has ever held elected office in America.
Trump if very capable but not introspective. Mainly he is an effective implementer. High IQ no doubt, but I also doubt that he is truly exceptional.
@31 > Newt would make a good ambassador to a country we want to annoy. UN ambassador would work.
Like it. ;^)
@82
I don't know about Christie, maybe a good choice. It would be great to see an aggressive Attorney General.
Very good news, Kris Kobach is on the team. He's a man to watch.
Milo, Press Secretary?
or better yet... end press conferences all together.
#87
I like it except I would put Karl Dinninger in as Treasury and let him go at the medical monopolies.
Ann Coulter as press sec.
I do so love the idea of Ron Paul as Fed chair.
My opinion of Trump was much improved by his apparent demotion of Christie. Give Christie dog catcher sec.
Rehire all the good flag grade officers sacked by the Obama crowd.
Tom Kratman, promoted and named Chairman Joint Chiefs. The US government could corner the market on oak timbers and long nails.
@91 Rehire all the good flag grade officers sacked by the Obama crowd.
And while you are at it, do what you can to get rid of the big time butt kissers.
@86 Let not your heart be troubled. They'd have to flip 20+ people, some would spill the beans, and it would be crushed.
Also, the electors are chosen by that state's political party. So the local Republican party chose Trump's state electors. That's not a guarantee right there, but it does make it a lot more likely that one of 20+ spills the beans if they are approached about it.
One or two traitors is easy. Twenty is hard. Three can keep a secret only if two are dead.
They need to put language in the wall building bill that requires 2/3 majority congressional vote to tear it down to prevent the next cuckservitive from removing it.
@86 George
I know it sounds insane, but every MSM website I visit is front paging articles about how the electoral can change their ire, and everyone supposedly wants them to.
Stop paying attention to MSM sites. Problem solved.
I think the Soros-linked guys might seriously try to push this through.
If they do, then a lot of people rise up and deal with it. Therefore it looks like bluster, attempting to stir up fear and uncertainty.
Just like the trolls that showed up here for weeks. You do recall that, right? All the strange new handles that popped up here, counseling fear and doubt? Yeah, you didn't pay attention to them, did you? Nah. 'Course not.
Stop wasting energy worrying about that. Find something else. Like how Cher will ever get to orbit.
@Ingot
She's been dabbling but she's moved off the national level stage.
You haven't been paying attention.
Corey Lewandowsi to serve the Trump Admonistration?
Trump doesn't need to do everything himself. Merely keeping the FedGov out of the way as Red states do what needs doing may start an avalanche of Trumpery.
Anyone worried about the "Sway the Electors" gambit, read up on the 1976 GOP Convention
Much lower stakes, many more delegates to get lost in, still only 2 delegates changed their votes, the 2nd in response to the 1st, to cancel out the change.
It's simply not going to happen, they're only pushing it to try to delegitimize Trump. Don't play their game.
Sick Newt on healthcare and let him bury himself in grand strategic memos.
Cruz-fanatic Daniel Horowitz had a good suggestion - appointing RINO senators to trifling cabinet positions so good replacements could be appointed.
Give McCain and Graham Commerce and Agriculture.
Would love to see Kobach get into a position to be groomed for 2024 or 2020 if Trump only wants to go 4 years.
Move the UN to Governors island. Don't let the foreign delegates come ashore - that way they can't commit so many crimes.

Ooh, I like that. Devious and machiavellian.

Hear, hear!
"Superior intellect," has always accrued more body counts more efficiently if that intelligence isn't bristled with a moral compass. I'm inclined to trust in the Sovereign hand of God than Trump's intellect

Peter Schiff - Dept Of Treasury
Ron Paul- Fed Chairman
Joel Salatin - Dept Ag.
Dept Transportation -Find a well respected owner of a medium sized trucking company.
So many roles a Renaissance Man like the Distinguished Gentleman from the Great State of Alabama could fill, and effectively to boot.
Please, God, Sessions 2024!!!
ROLL TIDE ROLL!
His campaign finance chair is Mnuchin, 17 years at Goldman-Sachs. Some are suggesting him as Secretary of Treasury. Haven't we DONE this already?
It's to much to hope for Max Keiser I guess.....
@102 GFR...
Good idea... even better, Trump should immediately suspend US dues to the UN. Then if they try any retaliation, inform them they have 1 year to move their headquarters completely out of the US, or else US diplomatic recognition of all UN delegates and personnel will be suspended indefinitely.
No Peter Schiff! The dude is a scammy salesman. Lost his investors a lot of money with his crappy investment company and shady brokers.
Which cabinet position oversees the Wall construction? Homeland Security?
put Sessions in charge of that, or ...
Appoint Karl Denninger Secretary of the Treasury, in charge of eliminating neo-Keynesians from control of the economy...
or put him in charge of killing Obamacare and freeing medical care from the stranglehold of the insurance industry.
Secretary of Education - Mike S Adams
A lot of appointments should be made with the instructions to cut down whatever they've been put in charge of and eliminate their own jobs.
EPA, Energy, Education, to name but a few.
You mean (((Peter Schiff)))?
@Eric the Red.
Interior.....

fuck no.
if she's involved with pedophile sex rings, she needs executed.
Theodore Beale as special adviser at large and ambassador to Italia.
The MSM now seems to be pushing the story that Trump is already going back on his campaign promises (re repealing Obamacare) and is engaging in nepotism.
I suspect this is part of their longer term game plan to stir up discontent with Trump.
Destroy the MSM is what I think we should do.
@122 Yeah because the MSM REALLY wants him to keep those promises. Making them clearly the unbiased arbiters in this whole thing. Why would Trump want the press to be the liaison between himself and his movement at this point? Let me count the ways.
Good thread. I posted a lot of the thoughts from it on my facebook page. Bringing Clinton in as Ambassador to Libya then refusing to take her phone calls is a really popular idea. All the ideas I've shared have gotten likes.

Don't interrupt the enemy when they are making a mistake.
I went to Trump's site and posted this. (The site was increasingly unstable, so I cut short what I wanted to say.)
Hello. First, congratulations without limit to President-Elect Trump, whom I supported from the beginning of the primaries. Election night, I was reminded of nothing so much as what was said when the invasion of the USSR began in 1941; "All the world shall hold its breath". Thank God and the wisdom of the American people that he won. Now, of course, the real work begins. ==============================================================My advice begins with military/national security. First, go find Lt. Col. William Lind (USMC). He is undoubtedly the finest theorist in the nation on Fourth Generation warfare, which is our primary threat now, even ahead of China. Place him in the highest position you can for the whole of your administration, and America will almost certainly not lose a war during your time in office. (He is the author of the novel "Victoria", which I highly recommend.) Next, bring in Robert Spencer, Victor Davis Hanson and perhaps David Goldman as lower-level part-time advisors; you will never fail to be ahead of the Islamic threat. ===============================================================Next is something absolutely fundamental. Sir, you clearly understand that the Third World cannot be permitted any longer to mass-colonize America, not and have the heirs of the Founding Fathers still have a home in which to live. Further, your message in the primaries focused clearly on removing the economic impediments to happy, productive lives for loyal, native-born Americans. No one can doubt those. However, I wonder if you have been told the rest of that story. Specifically, what goes into the rest of the demographic collapse in America, particularly marriage and illegitimate births. I strongly suggest having a private lunch with Dr. Stephen Baskerville. Subsequently, have someone you trust communicate with Philipp Longman, the Moxon fellow who wrote "The Woman Racket", the blogger Dalrock, Bernard Chapin, and/or Vox Day (Ted Beale). They will tell you what no one else quite will, and once they have convinced you, of how to tell Americans what you decide you need to tell them.==========================================================Racially, I suggest QUIETLY (thru cutouts, with complete deniability) having someone in your administration talk to Jared Taylor and John Derbyshire (and perhaps Vox Day again). The VDare website is most instructive, as is the Color of Crime one. ===============================================================Educationally, have someone talk to Claire Wolfe, John Taylor Gatto, Jaime Escalante, and Peter Brimelow, The end of Education Degree holders (and anything they write or speak) being allowed in classrooms must end. So must Federal dollars for non-STEM college classes; if a major doesn't involve Calculus, tools while working outside, or medical work, it's likely a hobby. Aaron Clarey's book on college majors should be in every high school and college. ========================================================= Oh, and I suppose I should say what I am. I am a petroleum geologist, son of decorated [military officer], and grandson of [an engineer on the Manhattan Project]. I am father to two four-year-old twins, and married. =============================================================== All the best to you, sir. There are those of us who would die for what you represent. Call on us when you need us. Yours, [Luke]
Screw Christie. I was in one of those bridgegate jams. The ENTIRE lower level had to merge left into ONE lane, right smack dab into the traffic for the upper level toll booth. I had my youngest in her car seat. Was in traffic for hours. There was clearly nothing wrong with the lower level - an 'emergency vehicle' driven by one of the Chosen Gov't Employees scooted across right in front of us. I still get angry. Anyone who would play with people llike that should get nothing. Piss on government - bunch of a-holes.
It's simple. The Democratic Party is the "Hate Party". That's really what they should change their name to.
The Nazi Party hated the Jews.
And the Democratic Party hates independent minded whites, browns and blacks.
It's laughable how easily people are suckered by known liars.
"Erk, I read in the WSJ that Trump has chosen a slew of hard right neocon insiders and lobbyists. What a fake!"
Oh really? In the Wall Street Journal, huh? The WaPo? You don't say.
Guy hasn't even done anything yet and the people who pretend they supported him are already abandoning ship.
#FuckSake
I know there may be no one here sympathetic to my using advanced astrology , but of all 16 republican candidates and all democrats that ran for president Christie has by far the best astrological transits on Inaugural day 2017 , He will be given some very powerful position on that day.
Sarah Palin isn't the right person for Secretary of Energy. That agency spends $10 billion/year making and maintaining nuclear weapons, and another $9 billion/year winning Nobel science prizes. They don't really do land use or mineral/oil/gas policy at all.
Interior would be a much better choice for her.
Putting Palin in charge of Interior would be hilarious. Tea Party Alaskan Governor in charge of BLM and National Parks? She would run more of our State after that appointment than she did as Governor...

This is not good news, Sessions is not an asset, he is a liability by virtue of having committed treason -- as proved here.
@127 - Some good ideas. Excellent, even.
Name John Linder to head the IRS, and have him help with writing the legislation to largely eliminate it. The FairTax would solve a LOT of problems.
OneWingedShark wrote:Sessions is not an asset, he is a liability by virtue of having committed treason -- as proved here (DUH DUH DUHNNNNNN)
Bullshit. Look up legislative exemption sometime.
Then re-examine your life. Figure out what choices and sins led you to this point in your career, that you're accusing one of the most respected men IN THE FUCKING WORLD, known for his honesty and integrity, of treason, for casting a legal vote on a legal bill before the Senate of the United States.
@127
I want to see a CPA, not a lawyer at the IRS. Too many lawyers and it would be good if somebody who actually deals with the tax code and its ponderously voluminous and complicated regulations, procedures and rulings was there to say, make it shorter and clearer.
First, fire all the lawyers.
Full disclosure, I am a CPA, not in public practice, who prepares a few relatively simple returns as a favor to family members.
Speaking of transition team, there's a report that the God-Emperor will pick a climate-change skeptic to head the EPA. Oh, glorious glory!
Myron Ebell's Infogalatic page is still a little, shall we say, wiki-ish and slanted in a pro-leftist manner. It would probably be a good idea for an Infogalactian to clean it up and take out some of the hackery, since the guy might be a cabinet secretary soon. If nobody else has had a chance to tackle it by the time I log in tomorrow, I'll do it, but won't complain if someone else jumps on it first.
And it occurs to me that a lot of the folks mentioned as candidates for the TrumpenKabinet will probably have Wiki pages with more than a whiff of leftist hatchet jobbery about them. I'd encourage everyone to adopt a SOP that when you hear someone mentioned as a possible member of the Trump Administration, do a quick check of IG to see if the page needs attention, and fix anything you feel qualified to fix.
Decided not to go to sleep, fixed up Ebell's IG page.
I want to see a CPA, not a lawyer at the IRS.
I can't agree with you. My brother is a CPA, and - despite being a good guy in all other respects - he's blind to the problems of an over-complicated tax code. It's how he makes his living, after all.
Jack Amok wrote:. It's how he makes his living, after all.
Yep, conflict of interest is what came to mind for me. Not to say you couldn't find a CPA who could indeed do the job well, but they'd have to be vetted hard. Retired, with absolutely no ties to the biz anymore, no family involved in the CPA biz, and preferably with a history of speaking against their own interest in this matter while being employed as a CPA. There are probably some more caveats that should apply.

Well, I can tell someone didn't read the proof (or the Constitution) -- Treason, as defined by the Constitution, has no legislative exemption, Art 1, section 6 is clear: "They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest [...]"

And its right.
Read the proof, it's all factual information, backed up with a lot of citations and research... and it's not confined to merely Sessions, but proves reason for 98% of the Senate, and the President himself.
"Pat Buchanan would be perfect for Homeland Security in my book."
No, Homeland Security needs to be abolished ASAP. It was the biggest power grab in the history of the federal government. It is a behemoth and bureaucratic nightmare that cost the American people billions of dollars a year. It has never caught a terrorist, yet consistently violates the privacy of innocent citizens. Then there's the millions and millions of dollars worth of military equipment it supplies to police forces along with spying equipment used for massive surveillance of Americans.
It's a tradeoff, but hopefully Alabamans can elect a good replacement.
Bad idea to have female prez. Even if we did the dems would ignore it, attack. They'd complain that she wasn't black.
For better or worse, she is a conservative, republican, woman icon. If she doesn't shrivel up too fast, her celebrity influence could prove useful.
@124
I'm enjoying watching people, even supporters, underestimate Trump. I am sure he will stumble sooner or later; he is human, and no human is perfect. But the press and pundits are quick to point out the "mistakes" Trump is making, while he grinds on and achieves his objective. America will look different in 2020, and be better.
Trump shows every sign of wanting his presidency to become a bigger splash than his election win.
