Inspirado na obra literária de João Cabral de Melo Neto, Morte e Vida Severina (1955), no cotidiano e no atual cenário da política brasileira, o sexto trabalho da Banda Eddie, entre o processo de composição, produção e masterização, levou quase um ano para ficar pronto, segundo Fábio Trummer. “Eu compus as músicas no formato voz e violão na minha casa, em São Paulo, entre março e novembro do ano passado e enviei para os caras da banda no Recife. Passamos dezembro ensaiando e janeiro, no Recife, gravando as 11 músicas”, conta o vocalista, que aposta no novo trabalho como o mais completo e maduro da Banda Eddie. “Estamos na melhor forma da nossa musicalidade”, enfatiza.
Os destaques do álbum vão para a faixa título “Morte e Vida”, com pegada setentista de um rock quase reggae que mostra como as palavras podem semear a discórdia, e para a balada “Meu Coração” e o samba “Essa trouxa não é sua”, que estão presentes na trilha sonora do filme Que Horas Ela Volta? (2015), da diretora Anna Muylaert, que ainda não teve estreia no Brasil, mas foi eleito o melhor filme pela Confederação Internacional de Cinema de Arte no Festival de Berlim deste ano."

Eddie Murphy
Edward Regan "Eddie" Murphy (born April 3, 1961) is an American comedian, actor, writer, singer, and producer. Box-office takes from Murphy's films make him the 5th-highest grossing actor in the United States. He was a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1980 to 1984 and has worked as a stand-up comedian. He was ranked #10 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.
He has received Golden Globe Award nominations for his performances in 48 Hrs., the Beverly Hills Cop series, Trading Places, and The Nutty Professor. In 2007, he won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor and received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of soul singer James "Thunder" Early in Dreamgirls.
Eddie Murphy's work as a voice actor includes Thurgood Stubbs in The PJs, Donkey in DreamWorks' Shrek series and the Chinese dragon Mushu in Disney's Mulan. Eddie Redmayne
Edward John David Redmayne, OBE (/ˈrɛdmeɪn/; born 6 January 1982) known as Eddie Redmayne, is an English actor, model and singer. He started his professional career in both theatre and television roles in the early 2000s and then made his film debut, Like Minds, in 2006. He has since appeared in films such as The Good Shepherd (2006), Savage Grace (2007), Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007), My Week with Marilyn (2011), Les Misérables (2012), The Theory of Everything (2014), Jupiter Ascending (2015), and The Danish Girl (2015).
Redmayne received acclaim for his performance as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor, the BAFTA Award, the Golden Globe Award, and the Screen Actors Guild Award. In 2015, he received further critical acclaim for his portrayal of Lili Elbe, one of the first known recipients of sex reassignment surgery, in The Danish Girl. For his performance, he received nominations for his second Academy Award, BAFTA Award, Golden Globe Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actor. He has continued to perform in theatre, most notably in the play Red (2010), on Broadway, for which he won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play.

Benedict Cumberbatch
Benedict Timothy Carlton Cumberbatch CBE (born 19 July 1976) is an English actor and film producer who has performed in film, television, theatre and radio. The son of actors Timothy Carlton and Wanda Ventham, he graduated from the University of Manchester and continued his training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, obtaining a Master of Arts in Classical Acting. He first performed at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park in Shakespearean productions such as Love's Labour's Lost (2001), A Midsummer Night's Dream (2001), and Romeo and Juliet (2002). He also portrayed George Tesman in Richard Eyre's revival of Hedda Gabler in 2005 and since then has starred in the Royal National Theatre productions After the Dance (2010) and Frankenstein (2011). In 2015, he played William Shakespeare's Hamlet at the Barbican Theatre.
Cumberbatch's television work includes appearances in Heartbeat (2000), Silent Witness (2002) and Fortysomething (2003) before starring as Stephen Hawking in the television film Hawking in 2004. He has played Sherlock Holmes in the series Sherlock since 2010. He has also starred in Tom Stoppard's adaptation of Parade's End (2012), as well as providing the voices of the British Prime Minister and Severus Snape on an episode of the animated series The Simpsons (2013).

Plot: Brad Masters enters a contest and wins an album by his favorite band of all time, Living Corpse. The tape has a special song called "Zombiefied", which turns Brad and his friends into zombies at a party. Luckily, Brad's girlfriend Angel misses the party and it is up to her to save her friends. "Após um hiato de quase quatro anos, a Banda Eddie lança o disco Morte e Vida, que sai em vinil e download gratuito pelo site da banda. São 11 faixas inéditas com participações de Karina Buhr, Erasto Vasconcelos, Jam da Silva, João do Cello e KSB. Fábio Trummer (voz e guitarra), Kiko Meira (bateria), Rob Meira (baixo), Alexandre Urêa (percussão e voz) e André Oliveira (teclado, samples e trompete) trazem no álbum, como eles próprios definem, a junção do blues, samba e surfrevo (mistura de frevo e surf music), sem esquecer, é claro, da raiz no Original Olinda Style, estilo criado pela banda, que já tem 25 anos de carreira e 12 com a mesma formação.
Inspirado na obra literária de João Cabral de Melo Neto, Morte e Vida Severina (1955), no cotidiano e no atual cenário da política brasileira, o sexto trabalho da Banda Eddie, entre o processo de composição, produção e masterização, levou quase um ano para ficar pronto, segundo Fábio Trummer. “Eu compus as músicas no formato voz e violão na minha casa, em São Paulo, entre março e novembro do ano passado e enviei para os caras da banda no Recife. Passamos dezembro ensaiando e janeiro, no Recife, gravando as 11 músicas”, conta o vocalista, que aposta no novo trabalho como o mais completo e maduro da Banda Eddie. “Estamos na melhor forma da nossa musicalidade”, enfatiza.
