On this night I was going to try the fish and chips stall on LK Metro in front of Climax live music bar, but only take away was available as there was limited seating. The Robin's nest Cod n' Chips was ok, but I probably wouldn't order it again.
Soi Diana 3 places to eat near second road.
Kiss Food and Drink is 24 hours and serves decent Western and Thai food at affordable prices. I took some of my holidaying friends there once and they said it was the best Thai food they'd had in all of Thailand (they all ordered seconds of a Thai curry dish but I can't remember which one).
The Beefeater is arguably the best steakhouse in Pattaya. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for here. This restaurant is very popular so it's best to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Bronx Pizza serves New York style pizza with a variety of toppings, I love this place and have never been served a bad slice in over a dozen visits. 115 baht for 2 big slices is a good deal and it's very convenient if you are stuck for time. Tip: You can eat your pizza at the beer bar complex nearby which I sometimes do as it's nice to wash spicy pizza down with a cold, refreshing beer.
Cute girl by the entrance to Soi 6. Sometimes when I look back on footage I take I'm shocked at how I overlook bars and bargirls. The girl in the white Pokemon t-shirt looking at her phone looked like a diamond in the rough IMO.
Jack Tar bar, Soi 6. This bar is a good place and is often packed with expats as the beer is around 65 baht, but on this night it was quiet.
Toy Box bar. They had a bikini party on this night and it looked pretty wild inside. The Toy Box has regular themed party nights and a group of friendly girls inside. It's good to see bars trying to stand out from the crowd by going the extra mile.
Q & A with a soi 6 bargirl. When chatting with bargirls sometimes they tell me hilarious stories, or are proud to announce they had a couple of short times already ;) Let me know in the comments below a question you'd like me to ask next :)
Expats chatting on Beach Road. I was looking around beach road and happened to overhear a couple of US expats chatting about the Chinese Tourists in Pattaya. These guys had their own sound system, ice cooler and drinks and looked like it was their regular spot where they hang out every night :)
Propositioning a Freelancer. On this night I saw an attractive looking young Beach Road freelancer and decided (for research purposes only) to proposition her. I smiled and said 'you look pretty, how much?' She replied '800 baht, one shot' in a heartbeat.
I made my excuses and left. It was funny to me that she used the 'one shot' terminology that mongers like to speak in :) I think I could have knocked her price down further, and a good tip if you are in a freelancer negotiation is to be very direct as they get a lot of timewasters.
TIP: I find it's good to say 'right now' a lot in any bartering negotiations as it lets them know you are serious. So if I'd have said '600 baht and we go RIGHT NOW' she'd have probably agreed ;)
Tahitian Queen gogo bar, Beach Road. If you are bored of the generic, characterless Walking Street gogo bars then I highly recommend this place. They play rock music at a medium volume level inside, and the dancers all wear skimpy bikinis and rotate very fast onstage. Bottled Beers are around 135 baht.
Penthouse Hotel. This is arguably the number one Adult themed hotel in the world. It has chrome poles and large jacuzzis in some rooms. The Penthouse Hotel is a wild card on the www.bangkok112.com Pattaya hotels $50+. Kitten Club and Obsessions gogo bars are underneath the hotel, and you can order the dancers in like room service ;)

Additional Notes:
'Freelancers' are working girls with no fixed place of work. The same term is used for Beach Road old girls, hotties from Insomnia and the pool playing girls at JP Bar.
Generally speaking taking freelancers is more risky than girls from bars as if something goes wrong there is little to no recourse.
Tips: If you are maybe going to take a freelancer back to your hotel then use common sense and make sure your valuables are all safe before starting your night out.
Only have on you the money you need, shower with your clothes beside you (before you do the deed), and it's probably best to only consume drinks you have paid for and watched over to be extra safe.
As always, use a condom as freelancers are not subject to the regular health checks like regular bargirls are.
More than likely there will be no problems but be aware that when taking freelancers you are open to more shenanigans than regular girls from the bars.
This can even add more excitement to the thrill of the unknown and there are definitely some fantastic Pattaya freelancers who will go the extra mile when back in your hotel.
When asked, never give any definite answers as to when you are leaving Pattaya. If you say you are leaving Thailand the next afternoon what incentive has a freelancer got to give you good service? Just say something like 'I leave in 4 days to Phuket but maybe I will stay longer, I'm not sure.' Or maybe that you have 3 days left but are thinking of changing flights and staying in Pattaya another week. Leave it up in the air as freelancers (and bargirls too) will almost always be open for repeat business from a hansum man :)
How much to pay? Prices as always are dependent on many factors, such as time of the evening, your appearance, and how long the girl has been working for etc...
As for Insomnia freelancer prices 1500-3000 baht is around the ballpark depending on how hot the girl is and the time of the evening. Remember there is no barfine to pay, but she might want a couple of drinks (Insomnia freelancers get commission on drinks).
At Insomnia and iBar around 2am the freelancers are normally more choosy as they are looking to snag a fresh tourist who will be happy to pay an inflated price.

This is the earliest I've ever been to Walking Street for a night out as it's normally full of selfie taking tourists at this time. Due to it being the low / rainy season it wasn't as crowded as I expected.
The bars in Pattaya are in a constant state of flux. On this night Casnovey gogo bar was boarded up, new bar G-spot had opened and Utopia Rock house has been rebranded as a Reggae bar.
Many other bars are changing and arguably the number 1 gogo bar in Pattaya the Sapphire Club was closed undergoing a full renovation over on Soi 15 Alley.
For me the low season is still a good time to visit Pattaya. The hotels are quieter and a bit cheaper, the bars usually have many seats available and most importantly you pretty much get your pick from all the available girls.
This is of course offset by the weather being variable and it can be hit or miss with the rain. On this past weekend there was just one light shower for an hour one evening so it was fine.

It's amazing just how many gogo bars are located at Walking Street, Pattaya. There are many more than the ones mentioned here too.
In each of these bars there is usually a raised central stage with scantily clad dancers. You can have a drink with these dancers or take them out of the bar for 'additional' services.
A barfine must be paid if you want to take a girl out for the additional services. They play techno dance music in most of these bars.
Cheap draught beer is available at most of these bars, and you must buy a drink on entry. Thai bottled beer (Chang, Singha) costs around 150 baht.
My favourites at the moment are Club Mistys (fun girls and very hands on!), Skyfall (good service and a nice lineup) and Airport Club (nice looking ladies inside). Windmill Agogo is always good for the shock and Awe factor and is an institution.

"Bali Ha'i", also spelled "Bali Hai", is a show tune from the 1949 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific. The name refers to a mystical island, visible on the horizon but not reachable, and was originally inspired by sight of Ambae island in Vanuatu from Espiritu Santo, where author James Michener was stationed in World War 2.

Street
A street is a public thoroughfare (usually paved) in a built environment. Walking
Walking (also known as ambulation) is one of the main gaits of locomotion among legged animals, and is typically slower than running and other gaits. Walking is defined by an 'inverted pendulum' gait in which the body vaults over the stiff limb or limbs with each step. This applies regardless of the number of limbs - even arthropods, with six, eight or more limbs, walk.
In the United Kingdom and Ireland, the term walking includes activities such as walking in a park and trekking in the Alps. However, in Canada and the United States the term for a long, vigorous walk is hiking, while the word walking covers shorter walks, especially in an urban setting.

The Robin's nest Cod n' Chips was ok, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Soi Diana 3 places to eat near second road. Kiss Food and Drink is 24 hours and serves decent Western and Thai food at affordable prices. I took some of my holidaying friends there once and they said it was the best Thai food they'd had in all of Thailand (they all ordered seconds of a Thai curry dish but I can't remember which one). The Beefeater is arguably the best steakhouse in Pattaya. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for here. This restaurant is very popular so it's best to book ahead to avoid disappointment. Bronx Pizza serves New York style pizza with a variety of toppings, I love this place and have never been served a bad slice in over a dozen visits. 115 baht for 2 big slices is a good deal and it's very convenient if you are stuck for time. Tip: You can eat your pizza at the beer bar complex nearby which I sometimes do as it's nice to wash spicy pizza down with a cold, refreshing beer. Cute girl by the entrance to Soi 6. Sometimes when I look back on footage I take I'm shocked at how I overlook bars and bargirls. The girl in the white Pokemon t-shirt looking at her phone looked like a diamond in the rough IMO. Jack Tar bar, Soi 6. This bar is a good place and is often packed with expats as the beer is around 65 baht, but on this night it was quiet. Toy Box bar. They had a bikini party on this night and it looked pretty wild inside. The Toy Box has regular themed party nights and a group of friendly girls inside. It's good to see bars trying to stand out from the crowd by going the extra mile. Q & A with a soi 6 bargirl. When chatting with bargirls sometimes they tell me hilarious stories, or are proud to announce they had a couple of short times already ;) Let me know in the comments below a question you'd like me to ask next :) Expats chatting on Beach Road. I was looking around beach road and happened to overhear a couple of US expats chatting about the Chinese Tourists in Pattaya. These guys had their own sound system, ice cooler and drinks and looked like it was their regular spot where they hang out every night :) Propositioning a Freelancer. On this night I saw an attractive looking young Beach Road freelancer and decided (for research purposes only) to proposition her. I smiled and said 'you look pretty, how much?' She replied '800 baht, one shot' in a heartbeat. I made my excuses and left. It was funny to me that she used the 'one shot' terminology that mongers like to speak in :) I think I could have knocked her price down further, and a good tip if you are in a freelancer negotiation is to be very direct as they get a lot of timewasters. TIP: I find it's good to say 'right now' a lot in any bartering negotiations as it lets them know you are serious. So if I'd have said '600 baht and we go RIGHT NOW' she'd have probably agreed ;) Tahitian Queen gogo bar, Beach Road. If you are bored of the generic, characterless Walking Street gogo bars then I highly recommend this place. They play rock music at a medium volume level inside, and the dancers all wear skimpy bikinis and rotate very fast onstage. Bottled Beers are around 135 baht. Penthouse Hotel. This is arguably the number one Adult themed hotel in the world. It has chrome poles and large jacuzzis in some rooms. The Penthouse Hotel is a wild card on the www.bangkok112.com Pattaya hotels $50+. The same term is used for Beach Road old girls, hotties from Insomnia and the pool playing girls at JP Bar. Generally speaking taking freelancers is more risky than girls from bars as if something goes wrong there is little to no recourse. Tips: If you are maybe going to take a freelancer back to your hotel then use common sense and make sure your valuables are all safe before starting your night out. Only have on you the money you need, shower with your clothes beside you (before you do the deed), and it's probably best to only consume drinks you have paid for and watched over to be extra safe. As always, use a condom as freelancers are not subject to the regular health checks like regular bargirls are. More than likely there will be no problems but be aware that when taking freelancers you are open to more shenanigans than regular girls from the bars. This can even add more excitement to the thrill of the unknown and there are definitely some fantastic Pattaya freelancers who will go the extra mile when back in your hotel. When asked, never give any definite answers as to when you are leaving Pattaya. If you say you are leaving Thailand the next afternoon what incentive has a freelancer got to give you good service? Just say something like 'I leave in 4 days to Phuket but maybe I will stay longer, I'm not sure.' Or maybe that you have 3 days left but are thinking of changing flights and staying in Pattaya another week. Leave it up in the air as freelancers (and bargirls too) will almost always be open for repeat business from a hansum man :) How much to pay? Prices as always are dependent on many factors, such as time of the evening, your appearance, and how long the girl has been working for etc... As for Insomnia freelancer prices 1500-3000 baht is around the ballpark depending on how hot the girl is and the time of the evening. Remember there is no barfine to pay, but she might want a couple of drinks (Insomnia freelancers get commission on drinks). At Insomnia and iBar around 2am the freelancers are normally more choosy as they are looking to snag a fresh tourist who will be happy to pay an inflated price. Due to it being the low / rainy season it wasn't as crowded as I expected. The bars in Pattaya are in a constant state of flux. On this night Casnovey gogo bar was boarded up, new bar G-spot had opened and Utopia Rock house has been rebranded as a Reggae bar. Many other bars are changing and arguably the number 1 gogo bar in Pattaya the Sapphire Club was closed undergoing a full renovation over on Soi 15 Alley. For me the low season is still a good time to visit Pattaya. The hotels are quieter and a bit cheaper, the bars usually have many seats available and most importantly you pretty much get your pick from all the available girls. This is of course offset by the weather being variable and it can be hit or miss with the rain. On this past weekend there was just one light shower for an hour one evening so it was fine. Additional notes: It's amazing just how many gogo bars are located at Walking Street, Pattaya. There are many more than the ones mentioned here too. In each of these bars there is usually a raised central stage with scantily clad dancers. You can have a drink with these dancers or take them out of the bar for 'additional' services. A barfine must be paid if you want to take a girl out for the additional services. They play techno dance music in most of these bars. Cheap draught beer is available at most of these bars, and you must buy a drink on entry. Thai bottled beer (Chang, Singha) costs around 150 baht. My favourites at the moment are Club Mistys (fun girls and very hands on!), Skyfall (good service and a nice lineup) and Airport Club (nice looking ladies inside). Windmill Agogo is always good for the shock and Awe factor and is an institution. On this night I was going to try the fish and chips stall on LK Metro in front of Climax live music bar, but only take away was available as there was limited seating. The Robin's nest Cod n' Chips was ok, but I probably wouldn't order it again.
Soi Diana 3 places to eat near second road.
Kiss Food and Drink is 24 hours and serves decent Western and Thai food at affordable prices. I took some of my holidaying friends there once and they said it was the best Thai food they'd had in all of Thailand (they all ordered seconds of a Thai curry dish but I can't remember which one).
The Beefeater is arguably the best steakhouse in Pattaya. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for here. This restaurant is very popular so it's best to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Bronx Pizza serves New York style pizza with a variety of toppings, I love this place and have never been served a bad slice in over a dozen visits. 115 baht for 2 big slices is a good deal and it's very convenient if you are stuck for time. Tip: You can eat your pizza at the beer bar complex nearby which I sometimes do as it's nice to wash spicy pizza down with a cold, refreshing beer.
Cute girl by the entrance to Soi 6. Sometimes when I look back on footage I take I'm shocked at how I overlook bars and bargirls. The girl in the white Pokemon t-shirt looking at her phone looked like a diamond in the rough IMO.
Jack Tar bar, Soi 6. This bar is a good place and is often packed with expats as the beer is around 65 baht, but on this night it was quiet.
Toy Box bar. They had a bikini party on this night and it looked pretty wild inside. The Toy Box has regular themed party nights and a group of friendly girls inside. It's good to see bars trying to stand out from the crowd by going the extra mile.
Q & A with a soi 6 bargirl. When chatting with bargirls sometimes they tell me hilarious stories, or are proud to announce they had a couple of short times already ;) Let me know in the comments below a question you'd like me to ask next :)
Expats chatting on Beach Road. I was looking around beach road and happened to overhear a couple of US expats chatting about the Chinese Tourists in Pattaya. These guys had their own sound system, ice cooler and drinks and looked like it was their regular spot where they hang out every night :)
Propositioning a Freelancer. On this night I saw an attractive looking young Beach Road freelancer and decided (for research purposes only) to proposition her. I smiled and said 'you look pretty, how much?' She replied '800 baht, one shot' in a heartbeat.
I made my excuses and left. It was funny to me that she used the 'one shot' terminology that mongers like to speak in :) I think I could have knocked her price down further, and a good tip if you are in a freelancer negotiation is to be very direct as they get a lot of timewasters.
TIP: I find it's good to say 'right now' a lot in any bartering negotiations as it lets them know you are serious. So if I'd have said '600 baht and we go RIGHT NOW' she'd have probably agreed ;)
Tahitian Queen gogo bar, Beach Road. If you are bored of the generic, characterless Walking Street gogo bars then I highly recommend this place. They play rock music at a medium volume level inside, and the dancers all wear skimpy bikinis and rotate very fast onstage. Bottled Beers are around 135 baht.
Penthouse Hotel. This is arguably the number one Adult themed hotel in the world. It has chrome poles and large jacuzzis in some rooms. The Penthouse Hotel is a wild card on the www.bangkok112.com Pattaya hotels $50+. Kitten Club and Obsessions gogo bars are underneath the hotel, and you can order the dancers in like room service ;)

Kiss Food and Drink is 24 hours and serves decent Western and Thai food at affordable prices. I took some of my holidaying friends there once and they said it was the best Thai food they'd had in all of Thailand (they all ordered seconds of a Thai curry dish but I can't remember which one).
The Beefeater is arguably the best steakhouse in Pattaya. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for here. This restaurant is very popular so it's best to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Bronx Pizza serves New York style pizza with a variety of toppings, I love this place and have never been served a bad slice in over a dozen visits. 115 baht for 2 big slices is a good deal and it's very convenient if you are stuck for time. Tip: You can eat your pizza at the beer bar complex nearby which I sometimes do as it's nice to wash spicy pizza down with a cold, refreshing beer.
Cute girl by the entrance to Soi 6. Sometimes when I look back on footage I take I'm shocked at how I overlook bars and bargirls. The girl in the white Pokemon t-shirt looking at her phone looked like a diamond in the rough IMO.
Jack Tar bar, Soi 6. This bar is a good place and is often packed with expats as the beer is around 65 baht, but on this night it was quiet.
Toy Box bar. They had a bikini party on this night and it looked pretty wild inside. The Toy Box has regular themed party nights and a group of friendly girls inside. It's good to see bars trying to stand out from the crowd by going the extra mile.
Q & A with a soi 6 bargirl. When chatting with bargirls sometimes they tell me hilarious stories, or are proud to announce they had a couple of short times already ;) Let me know in the comments below a question you'd like me to ask next :)
Expats chatting on Beach Road. I was looking around beach road and happened to overhear a couple of US expats chatting about the Chinese Tourists in Pattaya. These guys had their own sound system, ice cooler and drinks and looked like it was their regular spot where they hang out every night :)
Propositioning a Freelancer. On this night I saw an attractive looking young Beach Road freelancer and decided (for research purposes only) to proposition her. I smiled and said 'you look pretty, how much?' She replied '800 baht, one shot' in a heartbeat.
I made my excuses and left. It was funny to me that she used the 'one shot' terminology that mongers like to speak in :) I think I could have knocked her price down further, and a good tip if you are in a freelancer negotiation is to be very direct as they get a lot of timewasters.
TIP: I find it's good to say 'right now' a lot in any bartering negotiations as it lets them know you are serious. So if I'd have said '600 baht and we go RIGHT NOW' she'd have probably agreed ;)
Tahitian Queen gogo bar, Beach Road. If you are bored of the generic, characterless Walking Street gogo bars then I highly recommend this place. They play rock music at a medium volume level inside, and the dancers all wear skimpy bikinis and rotate very fast onstage. Bottled Beers are around 135 baht.
Penthouse Hotel. This is arguably the number one Adult themed hotel in the world. It has chrome poles and large jacuzzis in some rooms. The Penthouse Hotel is a wild card on the www.bangkok112.com Pattaya hotels $50+. Kitten Club and Obsessions gogo bars are underneath the hotel, and you can order the dancers in like room service ;)

Generally speaking taking freelancers is more risky than girls from bars as if something goes wrong there is little to no recourse.
Tips: If you are maybe going to take a freelancer back to your hotel then use common sense and make sure your valuables are all safe before starting your night out.
Only have on you the money you need, shower with your clothes beside you (before you do the deed), and it's probably best to only consume drinks you have paid for and watched over to be extra safe.
As always, use a condom as freelancers are not subject to the regular health checks like regular bargirls are.
More than likely there will be no problems but be aware that when taking freelancers you are open to more shenanigans than regular girls from the bars.
This can even add more excitement to the thrill of the unknown and there are definitely some fantastic Pattaya freelancers who will go the extra mile when back in your hotel.

Or maybe that you have 3 days left but are thinking of changing flights and staying in Pattaya another week. Leave it up in the air as freelancers (and bargirls too) will almost always be open for repeat business from a hansum man :)
How much to pay? Prices as always are dependent on many factors, such as time of the evening, your appearance, and how long the girl has been working for etc...
As for Insomnia freelancer prices 1500-3000 baht is around the ballpark depending on how hot the girl is and the time of the evening. Remember there is no barfine to pay, but she might want a couple of drinks (Insomnia freelancers get commission on drinks).
At Insomnia and iBar around 2am the freelancers are normally more choosy as they are looking to snag a fresh tourist who will be happy to pay an inflated price.

This is the earliest I've ever been to Walking Street for a night out as it's normally full of selfie taking tourists at this time. Due to it being the low / rainy season it wasn't as crowded as I expected.
The bars in Pattaya are in a constant state of flux. On this night Casnovey gogo bar was boarded up, new bar G-spot had opened and Utopia Rock house has been rebranded as a Reggae bar.
Many other bars are changing and arguably the number 1 gogo bar in Pattaya the Sapphire Club was closed undergoing a full renovation over on Soi 15 Alley.
For me the low season is still a good time to visit Pattaya. The hotels are quieter and a bit cheaper, the bars usually have many seats available and most importantly you pretty much get your pick from all the available girls.
This is of course offset by the weather being variable and it can be hit or miss with the rain. On this past weekend there was just one light shower for an hour one evening so it was fine.

It's amazing just how many gogo bars are located at Walking Street, Pattaya. There are many more than the ones mentioned here too.
In each of these bars there is usually a raised central stage with scantily clad dancers. You can have a drink with these dancers or take them out of the bar for 'additional' services.
A barfine must be paid if you want to take a girl out for the additional services. They play techno dance music in most of these bars.
Cheap draught beer is available at most of these bars, and you must buy a drink on entry. Thai bottled beer (Chang, Singha) costs around 150 baht.
My favourites at the moment are Club Mistys (fun girls and very hands on!), Skyfall (good service and a nice lineup) and Airport Club (nice looking ladies inside). Windmill Agogo is always good for the shock and Awe factor and is an institution.

I traveled from Bangkok, Thailand to Pattaya by mini-van which was only 92 Thai baht, or less than $3 USD. The two motorcycle taxi rides were 150 baht each, or about $4 so total cost of the trip was about $11. The mini-vans leave Bangkok from right near Victory Monument. PS. Models of the Tower Bridge of London, Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty and Trevi Fountain are also displayed in the section called "mini world".
Wat Yanasangwararam Woramahawihan is a temple constructed in 1976 for Somdet Phra Yanasangwon, the present Supreme Patriarch and later supported by His Majesty the King. Wat Yanasangwararam Woramahawihan is a temple constructed in 1976 for Somdet Phra Yanasangwon, the present Supreme Patriarch and later supported by His Majesty the King. Within the compound of the temple are a replica of the Buddha's footprint, and a large Chedi containing the relics of the Lord Buddha.
Thepprasit market is the biggest & busiest market in Pattaya, the market attracts locals and tourists and is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening at Thepprasit Road. It is famous for selling pets, has many Thai food stalls including local specialities like fried bugs and scorpions as well as branded clothes, shoes and electronic goods and has open air foot massages.
