Benjamin Grosvenor (born 8 July 1992) is a British classical pianist.

The Clink was a notorious prison in Southwark, England which functioned from the 12th century until 1780 either deriving its name from, or bestowing it on, the local manor, the Clink Liberty (see also the Liberty of the Clink). The manor and prison were owned by the Bishop of Winchester and situated next to his residence at Winchester Palace. The Clink was possibly the oldest men's prison and probably the oldest women's prison in England.
The origins of the name "The Clink" are uncertain, but it is possibly onomatopoeic and derives from the sound of striking metal as the prison's doors were bolted, or the rattling of the chains the prisoners wore.
The name has become slang as a generic term for prison or a jail cell.
There has been a prison owned by the Bishop of Winchester in one form or another since the year 860, although at that time it would only have been one cell in a priests' college. By 1076 an archbishop had listed the types of punishment allowed, scourging with rods, solitary confinement, and bread and water in silence.
The title Duke of Westminster was created by Queen Victoria in 1874 and bestowed upon Hugh Grosvenor, 3rd Marquess of Westminster. The current holder of the title is Gerald Grosvenor, 6th Duke of Westminster. Earl Grosvenor, the only son of the Duke, is godfather to Prince George of Cambridge.
The Duke of Westminster's seat is at Eaton Hall, Cheshire. The traditional burial place of the Dukes is the Old Churchyard adjacent to St Mary's Church, Eccleston.
Richard Grosvenor was created Baronet of Eaton in January 1622. Sir Richard Grosvenor, the 7th Baronet, was created Baron Grosvenor in 1761 and in 1784 became both Viscount Belgrave and Earl Grosvenor under George III. The title Marquess of Westminster was bestowed upon Robert Grosvenor the 2nd Earl Grosvenor at the coronation of William IV in 1831.
The subsidiary titles are: Marquess of Westminster (created 1831), Earl Grosvenor (1784), Viscount Belgrave, of Belgrave in the County of Chester (1784), and Baron Grosvenor, of Eaton in the County of Chester (1761). The Dukedom and Marquessate are in the Peerage of the United Kingdom; the rest are in the Peerage of Great Britain. The courtesy title of the eldest son and heir to the Duke is Earl Grosvenor.

September 2013. Harper Adams University. Gerald C Grosvenor, current chairman of Chester University, back to his first love, farming, which he was prevented from doing full time when he became heir apparent to the Dukedom.
Two dazzling performances of a suite whose absurd technical demands (especially in the infamous Scarbo) are easily matched by the precision and craft of its construction. Although both performances are critically acclaimed, they are quite different. Lortie is sumptuous, delicate, limpid. There is a microscopic attention to detail, and you can hear everything that's going on. Grosvenor's performance seems to take seriously Ravel's instruction that when it came to Gaspard, one should not interpret -- just play: precipitous accelerandi [38:10], frankly unbelievable colours [see the sudden change in texture at 25:45], wafer-thin pianissimos [26:31], jagged stabs of light in the murk. The level of virtuosity and control needed to pull off the sort of hyper-precise effects Grosvenor elicits from...
