Brisbane Airport felt the impact of another severe weather pattern that passed through south-east Queensland on Sunday afternoon.
Wind gusts of up to 157 kilometres per hour were recorded at the Brisbane Airport. A poly water tank was carried by the wind and struck a plane while boarding stairs were also knocked over.

The storm cell hit the Moreton Bay region late in the afternoon and continued up the coast. There were reports of caravans being upturned at Dicky Beach on the Sunshine Coast and hail recorded in some parts of the state.
Meteorologist Michael Paech said Sunday would see the last of the severe thunderstorms for south-east Queensland, with next week looking clearer and top temperatures just under 30 degrees.

Brisbane reached a top temperature of 36 degrees at 1.30pm on Sunday.
Other areas of the State fell just shy of the 40-degree mark, with Rockhampton and Emerald reaching 39.5.
