Navbox[edit]

My edit was reverted because the old version "looks better and is smaller". My version is 2,675 bytes, the older version is 3,058 bytes, not to mention the old version is quite larger on the screen. Also "looks better" is subjective to you. I find proper navboxes to be less cluttered, more streamlined, and easier to use. --Muboshgu (talk) 12:04, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

When some kind of policy is put in that requires all infoboxes to be navboxes, then I would agree. However, the current version has been used for years and it is much easier tyo understand and easier to navigate in. I have no idea why users feel it is necessary to go around changing the long-standing formats of some templates while not consulting any of the template's watchers or even leaving a message on the talk page (and this isn't a shot at you). -- Scorpion0422 00:59, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Because of Wikipedia:BOLD. Using navboxes can be preferable to older tables, and it's used in so many templates I didn't see need to reach consensus before being bold. Change can be a good thing. --Muboshgu (talk) 15:36, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
