Good but lots of room for improvement I just saw my review from 2012 it's the same today 4 years later . I use desktop version alot. I wish you could add place marks and name them. A measurement tool would also be helpful. There are so many options with Google Maps that are not available here makes no sense

Has a few bugs If you sign into it with a Google account that's on your phone, then try to access Maps Gallery, it makes you sign in again, and then just keeps reloading the password page. You can never get to maps gallery. Also, I was hoping to view different dates of satellite view. I don't see an option for that. Also seems to be glitchy if you move too fast. I use a galaxy s4.

Not as good as the Desktop version I have been regularly using the Desktop version of Google Earth for the last five years. Now I thought of using the mobile app but was very disappointed. Firstly it does not show the Latitude and Longitude of the places that you search. And I couldn't find a tool to measure aerial distances also. What is the problem in making it as good as the Desktop version?

Nexus 5😎 Unbelieveble, awesome, spectaculair, state off the art Spacey🌎technic in your pocket! I love it big time! The resolution is less then before but the performance is way better. @Those guys who complain about the latest update: Buy a Nexus, leave Samsung.

Funny how my review has not changed in a year, Every time I open it, it crashes saying its not responding. I been sending the reports every time. Its hard to do that to because while im sending the report I continue getting pop ups about it not working and it ends up freezing my whole phone. Please fix this I really want to use it. Will give 5 ☆☆ when finally fixed and running properly.

It's a good app, but please update countryside areas! It's a great app for exploring the World, but I wish they would update areas in the countryside. I just looked for my farm and the photo data is six years old and they've given my farm the wrong name!! That's why it gets 4 stars rather than 5.

Good, however... Quite energy hungry. Some chargers cannot catch up with the consumption, and the battery is actually draining during use. The database of locations could be better, some locations are not listed. Google Maps has a better one, but there is no way to navigate to a location from the Maps in the Sygic without cumbersome copy pasting of coordinates.

Love it, if it works I used to look around the world on this great app. I was fascinated by it lol. However it's been about 2 years and every time I download it again, I install and select to open it up and it automatically says Google Earth has stopped. It may be my phone but I'm sad because I love this app but have quit using it.

Samsung Galaxy 3 If it wasn't for the fact that it crashes so quickly & frequently once you start using it I would give 5 stars. Difficult to use an app that crashes in less than a minute of using it. Moving around screen or zoom in/out will make it crash. Don't developers ever test their apps?

THIS APP IS BAD. There is somthing extremely wrong with using this app on a mobile device. BEWARE!!!! USING THIS APP MADE MY PHONE SOO HOT!!! No joke, It runns a HUGE amount of data and GPS on your phone, it may cause a lot of over heating issues. I could not even touch my phone for 10 mins. I had to shut it down.

Google Earth Crashes within five minutes of opening the app every single time. Also pictures are pretty old considering it shows me having a vehicle that I haven't had in years. On the upside it looks like people who super into their privacy don't have too much to worry about.....

I hate this Freaking software this is. I downloaded this to see a street view where I want to see specialy and immediately. So the first time I downloaded this bloody software didn't allow me to see the street view and there wasn't a pegman icon on it. After that since I wanted to find my place anyway again and again I uninstalled this and installed again. I did it for couple of times. And finally read the help guide and followed the instructions on street view to get help for android app. But I couldn't.

This updated app is terrible They managed to change everything into some chopped up video game looking cartoon. It looks fake. What's the point in looking at satellite images that have been changed to look fake?! Terrible. Awful. Change it back. Updates are for improvements, moving forward, not backwards.

After reading further into the complaints about this app and the non response of the developers, I'm opting to delete this app from my phone. Don't even bother putting this on your phone, it may not work right and they don't really care.

One of "the MOST" useful apps ever created!!! INCREDIBLE! In my opinion, GOOGLE EARTH, has got to be one of the interesting, AND useful, applications. One really does not need any other map; it has everything built in, that you need to learn, discover, and navigate the planet! Not yet... Come on! Force close evry 10 to 15 min. It is not up to 2gb ram or quad core S4 cpu... and DO UPDATE app, please?!?! REdit: i changed 26 phones... same errors again and again... force stoped. Resolution has drasticaly lowed.. 3D isnt 3D but fuzzy 2D... No response from dev team... Anyone working there??? Kids?? Painters??? No knoledge or fear based system in act.. What else???

Needs a update The roads on this are not up to date at all as the route to work is not there well the roads by work anyway and most of the houses in the area people now live in and have done for several years now... so a road update is needed (the area is priory vale in swindon) other than that all is good

Fix the frequent crash problem This app deserves a 5 star rating but right now I'm not pleased bcos since I downloaded this app on my Samsung galaxy Tab E , I haven't had the opportunity to enjoy it, keeps crashing and telling me unfortunately, Google earth has stop working. Well it never actually started working. I look forward to giving u a 5 star after you fix the problem.

Great App, less good on mobile Just tried to move the application to SD card - result: 10% less memory used on mobile but overall almost doubled memory used! And if doesn't appear able to use sd card for cache - would be really useful, developers, if you're listening? Because this it's really quite memory hungry.

Broken! Constantly zooms through the ground into blackness, constantly! I remember a time this bring my favourite app, spent a lot of time exploring on it... Now it's just broken, I've installed it a number of times to see if it's been fixed, sadly it seems it's care has been discontinued.

Terrible App Doesn't deserve the 1 ★ because it Stops working & Closes way to much. I can't even use it for 2 minutes before it stops working and closed every time. I know its not my device, I've had it checked.

Great app.... A very good app that allows me to take a glance of the globe... With this app I can view every city and how large they are, you can easily see where you are going and the environs even b4 you get there. but....the app keep crashing after every 5 minutes. Pls fix it and I will rate it with 5stars.

Constant Crashes! Google Earth constantly crashes on startup. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not remedy the problem. Nexus 7, 2013 model, running Android 6.0.1. As a side note, it's odd that I can actually uninstall this app; it used to be a system app. Also, what happened to the Wikipedia layer?

Crashes Every time I tried opening it in the last month, it only stays functioning for about a minute, then freezes for a couple seconds and crashes back to my tablets dashboard. I can't say for sure what's causing it but everything else on my tablet runs perfectly but Netflix and YouTube. But neither of those have ever crashed on me!

A VR option would be amazing A VR option for the VR supported phones would be great for Google Earth, it just sucks how the simplest ideas can be the greatest too. I mean Google Earth VR on phones might not work because it does not have a controller but like we can use things like leaning as controls or something!

Love the app but question? Does Google earth show you just the earth or can you see far away planets like Saturn or Pluto as well im just curious because I'm wanting to test something I have about the noise they (moonlanders) had heard on the dark side of the moon I think their may have been a hidden base or something up there and I want to scan the lunar surface see if anything other then a footprint and flag stand out

Can anybody remember the last time Google Earth just worked? A revelation when it first came out, this is beginning to feel like another semi- abandoned Google project., with the anticlimax of a black screen.

Terrible now, cant read names and GE keeps failing Can't read the Towns names (white letters aren't pronounced enough) and whats with the letters getting smaller as we zoom in, they should get larger and easier to read!

Bug or systematic prob. Dont know why but this app behaves weiardly on my galaxay grand! When moving the planet, Black parts appear on the map randomly in every single place. Cant even properly use it!

Google gone wrong Google was once a fantastic tool. While reading history books or biographies I would always go to those areas I was reading about. Getting an aerial and street view made these books much more real. For the past few years this program has became progressively worse. Now it crashes perhaps every four to five minutes. I'm just so frustrated I have quit using it. I hope someday they will get back to where they first started with this program.

Google earth Long standing issues with this application, I have reported them but they still have not fixed it. It has been like this for months and months now. When you pull up a location, the photos of that area, should come up, but they never ever load.

Crashes way too often Can't go more than three minutes without getting the same "unfortunately Google Earth has stopped working" message everyone else gets. I'm guessing Google has simply given up on this app. Too bad because it used to be a great app back when it worked.
