The investigation into child abuse claims against Brad Pitt has reportedly been expanded to involve his entire family after new accusations have surfaced.
New accusations claim that the Hollywood star was verbally abusive to Angelina Jolie and their children on numerous occasions have prolonged the investigation.
A source told In Touch the investigation, “was not closed on schedule for a reason.”

The investigation is going to continue
“The DCFS (Department of Child and Family Services) investigation is now going to continue for at least several more weeks,” the source explained.
A second insider added, “The fact that the investigation was extended is an indication of how serious this is.”
Brad and Angelina along with their six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight, will all have to be interviewed about it again.

It’s snowballed from the first alleged altercation
The Hollywood star was originally investigated after claims of a physical altercation with Maddox on a private jet last month on a flight home from Paris.
According to TMZ some of the children have grown fearful of their dad and Maddox reportedly asked to leave a meeting with Brad last week because he felt uncomfortable.
One of the accusations that surfaced on Tuesday was that the power couple had gotten into several verbal disputes in front of the children, though it is unclear when exactly.
“They are looking at not only the original incident but other possible incidents surrounding it and more history,” a source told Us Weekly. “They are looking at a history and pattern of behaviour.”
Things have stayed tense
This is the latest in what has become a tough situation for both Brad and Angelina and their six children after she blindsided him by filing for divorce last month.
Brad has said he will fight for custody and it looks like things are going to stay tense between the Hollywood couple before anything is sorted in court.
