Sincerity is the virtue of one who speaks and acts truly about his or her own feelings, beliefs, thoughts, and desires.
Sincerity has not been consistently regarded as a virtue in Western culture. First discussed by Aristotle in his Nicomachean Ethics, it resurfaced to become an ideal (virtue) in Europe and North America in the 17th century; and it gained considerable momentum during the Romantic movement, when sincerity was first celebrated as an artistic and social ideal. Indeed, in middle to late nineteenth century America, sincerity was an idea reflected in mannerisms, hairstyles, women's dress, and the literature of the time.
More recently sincerity has been under assault by several modern developments such as psychoanalysis and postmodern developments such as deconstruction. Some scholars view sincerity as a construct rather than a moral virtue—although any virtue can be construed as a 'mere construct' rather than an actual phenomenon.
Literary critic Lionel Trilling dealt with the subject of sincerity, its roots, its evolution, its moral quotient, and its relationship to authenticity in a series of lectures published under the title Sincerity and Authenticity.
M. J. Cole (born Matthew James Firth Coleman, 9 August 1973) is an English house and UK garage producer, writer and remixer.
Born in London, England, in his youth, Cole was classically trained on the oboe and piano, and won scholarships to both the Royal College of Music Junior Department and City Of London School.
Having graduated from City University, Cole began at respected drum ‘n’ bass label, SOUR, as a tape operator and sound engineer to the likes of Freq Nasty and Ed Rush. It was working on Ramsey & Fen’s 2-step remixes for Kim Mazelle, however, that gave him the garage bug.
From there, Cole penned and produced Sincere in 1998 using a sampler and Atari, which was eventually picked up by Pete Tong and AM:PM and became one of the earliest garage records to break into the UK Top 40.
He signed on Gilles Peterson’s Takin’ Loud label where in 2000 he produced his first album, also called Sincere, which earned him two Top 15 singles, a prestigious Mercury Music Prize nomination, Brit Award nomination and beat Dr Dre to win MOBO's Best Producer award in 2001. He received a Silver Disc for UK sales in excess of 60,000 copies. Cole formed a live band to accompany his Sincere album performing on Jools Holland’s Later Show as well as TOTP, CDUK, The Chart Show, Mercury Music Prize and the MOBO Awards. In 2003, Cole followed Sincere with his Cut To The Chase album, also released via Talkin’ Loud.
Déjà vu, (i/ˌdeɪʒɑː ˈvuː/; French pronunciation: [de.ʒa.vy]) from French, literally "already seen", is the phenomenon of having the strong sensation that an event or experience currently being experienced has already been experienced in the past. Déjà vu is a feeling of familiarity, and déjà vécu (the feeling of having "already lived through" something) is a feeling of recollection.
Scientific approaches reject the explanation of déjà vu as "precognition" or "prophecy", but rather explain it as an anomaly of memory, which creates a distinct impression that an experience is "being recalled". This explanation is supported by the fact that the sense of "recollection" at the time is strong in most cases, but that the circumstances of the "previous" experience (when, where, and how the earlier experience occurred) are uncertain or believed to be impossible. Two types of déjà vu are suggested to exist: the pathological type of déjà vu usually associated with epilepsy and the non-pathological which is a characteristic of healthy people and psychological phenomenon.

Plot: Tommy Brown and his friend Sincere are gangsters who have learned how to make a good living by dealing drugs and pulling armed robberies. Tommy and Sincere have been able to move out of the ghetto in Queens where they were raised and relocate to an upscale section of Manhattan; they would seem to have it made, but both realize that their lives are headed toward a dead end. Sincere begins getting in touch with his African roots and tries to convince his girlfriend Tionne that they should emigrate to the Motherland, while Tommy has a religious awakening and joins the Nation of Islam.

Factory custom Fender Jaguar guitar. The song scene from the 1963 movie. I stripped out the low quality movie audio, and replaced it with the stereo version. I also made the instruments louder where they were too low in various sections.

Why can't I understand you?
The path you're on I can't get to
Why can't I feel you in my heart?
We're drifting so far apart
Don't make it up
Please be sincere
'Cause I just can't sleep at night
Since you're not here
Sometimes I want to fucking scream
Scream 'till I have no voice
Have someone to hold me
Tell me there's another choice
Take my hand I'm here for you
Let me in, we'll make it through
Take my hand I'm here for you
Let me in, we'll make it through
Sometimes I want to fucking scream
Scream 'till I have no voice
Have someone to hold me
Tell me there's another choice
So...
Take my hand I'm here for you
Let me in, we'll make it through
Take my hand I'm here for you
Let me in, we'll make it through
Why can't I understand you?
The path you're on I can't get to
Why can't I feel you in my heart?
We're drifting so far apart
Don't make it up
Please be sincere
'Cause I just can't sleep at night
Since you're not here
Don't make it up
Just be sincere
I swear I'll do my best
