Mini trend: how to wear chambray

Finally, there's a fashion trend that makes wearing double denim totally on point. Chambray is everywhere, and I mean everywhere, this summer. From chokers to shoes, there's a chambray item for every body part, so let's not waste any time and get into it.

Who's doing it ... and how to rock it

It's coming into winter in the US but last summer, plenty of celebrities got their chambray on. From a simple light-coloured denim shirt, worn by Hilary Duff, to Miranda Kerr in DD on the streets of New York City.

If you're not accustomed to wearing chambray, start small, with an accessory, or a bottom – it's easier to wear a chambray jogging pant or skirt than a jumpsuit or dress.

Not sure what to pair it with? Chambray looks super fresh with white and tan but maybe lay off the black accessories or shoes unless your chambray is a darker shade.

Where to get the look

Seemingly everywhere. I am a big fan of Witchery's range of shorts this season, especially this style, which is universally flattering. If you want to go the full head to toe, there are flirty dresses by local label Mister Zimi, as well as Karen Walker, who has done hers with a touch of tie-dye.
