DescriptionOn December 20th, 2014 my mom and I drove down to Shreveport, LA to visit family. It was a nine hour drive to and from Shreveport, LA. While on the road I was either sleeping, watching movies on my iPod Touch, or just sight seeing out the window. I did see a few trains while we were on the road, but I didn't take any pictures of them. When we got to Lewisville, AR my mom and I stopped at this food joint called Burge's. They had a lot of food to choose from, but I got two foot long corndogs and a small vanilla shake. The girl who took my order was pretty cute with that southern country accent. After getting my food, we quickly got back on the road but soon as we got on the highway we got stopped by an westbound Union Pacific train. That was my first time seeing a train go thru that town of all the times I've been thru Lewisville. Around 7:15 we got into Shreveport, LA. We checked into our hotel which was the Quality Inn. I love staying at that hotel because they're literally right next to the KCS Vicksburg Sub. Not even 10 minutes at the hotel, two eastbounds went by the hotel. After checking in, my mom and I went to go visit her mom. The only days I got to railfan the KCS Vicksburg Sub was on December 21st & December 22nd, and they were usually in the morning or late afternoon. On December 23, 2014 it was time for my mom and I to head back home to Shiloh because I had to work the next day. Here are the trains I caught on the KCS Vicksburg Subdivision.
