TOULON, FRANCE This is one of my earlier videos and although the production and quality are not as good as later ones it still gives an overall view of the wonderful area of Toulon in France. We took a trip along the coast line up into the very picturesque Hawes Mountains and from here the views were great. This video is shot around both the commercial and military parts of the Port of Toulon on France's Mediterranean coast. The military port of Toulon (French - arsenal de Toulon) is the principal base of the French Navy, sited in the city of Toulon. It holds most of France's force d'action navale, comprising the aircraft carriers Charles de Gaulle as well as its nuclear attack submarines, in total more than 60% of the tonnage of the French Navy. This video features scenes in the small fishing boat harbour, the larger commercial cruise ship harbour (featuring the Thomson Destiny) and the larger harbour and port featuring a variety of private, commercial and military ships and boats. This video also features the departure from the Port of Toulon on board the Thomson Destiny.
April Rain
How does it feel when all you're counting on is scatterbrained
Every wind that you have sailed upon, a hurricane
Every summer you have seen was filled with April rain
It doesn't get easy, don't you know
Fortune smiles on you
You're not watching, dig that hole deeper
Fortune smiles on you
You're not watching, create your own fate
Count your blessings and prepare to change your point of view
All those days that you spend waiting won't come back to you
Take off the glasses that have treated your world black and grey
It doesn't get easy, don't you know
Fortune smiles on you
You're not watching, dig that hole deeper
Fortune smiles on you
You're not watching, create your own fate
Keep raining
'Cause we are blind, 'cause we are tired, 'cause we are blind to fortune's guidance now
It keeps raining, 'cause we are blind, it will keep raining, 'cause we are tired
It keeps raining, 'cause we are blind oh, it will keep raining 'cause we are tired
Fortune smiles on you
You're not watching, dig that hole deeper
Fortune smiles on you
