A baby kangaroo has been rescued during a police raid on a property in Wooroloo.
The joey, and a dead kangaroo, were found when Midland detectives and officers from Mundaring searched a house and seized a rifle, ammunition and gun parts.
A dune-buggy, quad bike and off-road bike were also seized on suspicion they had been stolen.
A spokesman for WA Police said the joey had been handed over to staff from the Department of Parks and Wildlife.
The raid was carried out on Friday morning.
