Well, so much for Taylor Swift fighting for her privacy or a judge granting her motion to seal a photo that shows her allegedly being groped. TMZ went ahead and posted the pic. The gossip hounds have shared the controversial photo, which is central to the legal battle between the pop star and former radio DJ David Mueller. Mueller originally filed a civil slander lawsuit against Swift in Colorado, claiming that her allegations that he groped her during a meet-and-greet cost him his job. The singer filed a countersuit, with the photo in question being submitted as evidence. Though Swift's request to keep the personal image out of the public eye was granted, TMZ took the liberty of posting it online.

The appearance of Confederate flags along the route of Friday’s Petaluma Veterans Day parade has sparked outrage among some viewers, including San Rafael Rep. Jared Huffman. “It was just so out of place that I had to do a double-take,” said Huffman, who appeared in the parade riding an old WWII-era Jeep with Petaluma resident Steve Countouriotis, a decorated war hero. “It stunned me on several levels,” said the congressman, a Democrat who has sponsored legislation to bar gratuitous sales of Confederate flag memorabilia in national parks and to prohibit Confederate memorial displays in national cemeteries. Parade organizer Steve Kemmerle said he confronted the men after a police officer noticed them standing in a corner of Walnut Park. Parade organizers and law enforcement have no control over the signs or messages bystanders carry in the park, Kemmerle said.

The world's tallest tropical tree has been discovered at the heart of the Malaysian Island of Borneo, in the state of Sabah. This record-breaking specimen towers 94.1m (nearly 309ft) and its canopy reaches a diameter of 40.3m (132ft). In June 2016, a team of scientists had already announced they had found the tallest tropical tree on our planet. The specimen they had recorded - a yellow meranti - reached a height of 89.5m, and was also found in Malaysia. This record was not destined to last long however. On 10 November 2016, Gregory Asner of the Carnegie Institution for Science at Stanford University announced that not only had he found more impressive, 94.1m tall, tropical tree but he had also
