A man has died after he was struck by a car in Sydney's west on Saturday.
Police were called to Silverwater Road at the M4 on-ramp in Auburn, at about 8am, following reports a 25-year-old man had been hit by a car.
Officers were told the man was walking across a pedestrian crossing when a Mazda 2 and a Hyundai Tiburon collided, with the Mazda then hitting the man.
He was taken to Westmead Hospital but later died.
Investigations into the crash are continuing and anyone who witnessed it is asked to contact police.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
