A man has been bashed in the face with a metal bar during a violent burglary at his Gold Coast home.
Four men forced their way into the 49-year-old man's home on Ocean Street in Burleigh Heads home about 2.45pm on Friday and assaulted him before fleeing with his phone, laptop and Lexus car, police say. The victim has been taken to Robina Hospital in a stable condition.
Police are searching for the group of men that includes a blond man who has the word "loyalty" tattooed on the left side of his face and was wearing a black shirt and shorts.
