An anti-Donald Trump protester has been shot (top) during a demonstration early Saturday morning in Portland, Oregon, police have said. The man was taken to the hospital after the shooting and the gunman is still on the loose. 'In the early morning hours of Saturday November 12, 2016, a man was injured in a shooting on the Morrison Bridge during a protest march. Preliminary information indicates that a suspect was in a vehicle on the bridge and there was a confrontation with someone in the protest. The suspect got out of the vehicle and fired multiple shots injuring the victim,' Portland Police said in a statement. The shooting took place on the Morrison Bridge in Portland around 1am on Saturday. A protester told KATU he saw four men get out of a car who looked 'menacing' and one of them had a gun. The group then got back in the car and after a short period of time, the man with the gun came back out of the car and fired 'five or six' warning shots and the victim was struck in the leg. A man who was captured on video being beaten by several people as onlookers shouted 'Don't vote Trump' said it occurred after a minor traffic accident on Chicago's west side. David Wilcox, 49, told reporters he did vote for President-elect Donald Trump, but that no one in the crowd would have known that. Wilcox said the attack occurred on Wednesday after his car was scraped by another car. He said he parked and asked the other driver if he had insurance, 'and the next thing I knew they were beating the s**t out of me.' The video shows the beating by several people and the audio includes the taunt 'You voted Trump.' An attacker eventually drove off with Wilcox's car. Police are investigating the beating and who made the 'politically divisive' statements in the video and no arrests have been made.

Princeton University professor, feasted on crickets in honey on Saturday morning to settle the bet following Trump's shocking election victory. Back on October 19, Wang had tweeted: 'It's totally over. If Trump wins more than 240 electoral votes, I will eat a bug.' President-elect Trump ended winning the election after capturing Wisconsin's 10 electoral votes, putting him over the 270 threshold needed to win. The data scientist was reminded of his wager while discussing the election and why predictions went wrong with host Michael Smerconish on CNN's ' Smerconish ' on Saturday and later ate a bug.

An adorable video of dogs leaping through tall grass is making the rounds online as half a dozen pooches prance like antelopes. The 40-second clip posted to YouTube on Wednesday shows the excited pups being let loose in a field of tall green grass. The dogs of all different breeds and sizes dart off into the field without a care in the world.As they leap through the grass, they seem to be swimming like dolphin in water. Each dog pops up as it leaps through the grass and then disappears as it land again. The woman filming the dogs laughs as the goofy pups leap through the field.

Nicole Aymond, 45, was arrested in Port Barre, Louisiana, on Wednesday at the local high school where she is the girls' basketball coach and P.E. teacher. She admitted having sex with two of the boys, aged 17 and 18, who showed police the nude photographs she earlier sent them. The 45-year-old is accused of having sexual contact with a third boy. Police were alerted to the teacher when one of the boy's mothers reported her concerns.

The woman, believed to be from the US, filmed herself striking a series of poses to display her muscly figure - including her washboard abs. However, some social media users suggested that it was 'dangerous' for her to sculpt her body in this way. One person described it as 'a step too far', while another suggested it was 'bad for her body'.

Johnny Mullins, 21, from Jenkins, Kentucky, filmed himself at the scene of one fire last week and uploaded it to Facebook in one of his self-styled and produced 'weather outlook' videos. The 21-year-old was later arrested and told officers he started the fire because he liked the attention it brought him, according to Jenkins Police Department. He is facing one count of second degree arson. In videos uploaded to his page last week, he coughed and spluttered as he fought his way through smoke to report from the scene.

Devastating CCTV footage from China shows a grandmother accidentally dropping her four-month-old grandson 30ft down the side of an escalator to its death after she lost her footing and let go of him. The baby boy was reportedly rushed to hospital but died in the early hours of this morning.

Paris' Bataclan concert hall turned away two members of Eagles of Death Metal who were playing during the ISIS attack at the venue last year. They tried to enter the venue for Sting's gig as the hall reopened to mark the anniversary of the massacre which killed 90 innocent music fans. But director Jules Frutos refused to let them in after frontman Jesse Hughes earlier this year suggested that Muslim staff were involved in the gun and suicide bomb attack on November 13, 2015.

Todd Kohlhepp (left and right) is said to have exhibited a wealth of strange behavior that sent shivers down the spines of those who knew the now-confessed serial killed. His strange acts included watching pornographic videos during work, making macabre jokes in marketing literature and openly discussing that he was a sex offender. But, despite the creepy behavior, he was an award-winning agent described as a hard worker and good boss. All the while, authorities say, he was hiding a grisly secret that included seven killings over 13 years. He gunned down four people at a motorcycle shop in 2003 and within the last year killed three more, authorities said. The crimes were uncovered earlier this month when investigators found Kala Brown (inset, left) - who had been missing for two months - was found 'chained like a dog' inside a shipping container on his rural land. Police are said to have rescued her after hearing a banging sound when they arrived at Kohlhepp's property with a search warrant. The body of her boyfriend Charlie Carver (inset, right), 32, was also found at the property.

Actress Leslie Hippensteel, left and far right, is suspected of blackmailing her husband with a sex tape he had made with his mistress, which she then allegedly sent to his employer, the Houston Christian High School. Court documents say Hippensteel found sex tapes made by her husband, John Ousley, pictured center, with his mistress and demanded he pay her hush money.

A furious wife pulled a machete on her husband on a busy street in broad daylight after he was out drinking all night in Bangkok, Thailand. The woman drove around looking for her husband in peak hour, the morning after his bender before she waved the hunting knife in his face, ordering him to go home.

Emmanuel Shahid Avraham, from Westside Hills in Georgia, US, was filmed leading his blindfolded wife outside their home to show her the new Jaguar. His wife Connie can be heard laughing hysterically as he carries her down the steps. She breaks down in tears when he takes off her blindfold and she sees her new set of wheels.

NEW Young donkeys are bred (1) and slaughtered (2) for the DEEJ ejiao factory (3 and 4) in Dong'e, China. Ejiao is a supposedly youth-preserving gelatin found in their skin. Four million donkeys are killed each year to meet demand for the 'miracle' serum which goes into health snacks, powders and face creams. There is no medical evidence to support the belief in its effectiveness.

NEW A couple of Australian man have come up with an unusual, but dangerous, way of opening a beer bottle. The video posted on Hoonbag shows a man, believed to be in his 20s, crouching down holding an unopened beer. In slow motion, a motorbike rolls into the screen and the man slows down and performs a 'stoppie'.

A hooded merganser duck in Fullerton, California looked like an odd hybrid animal as it grappled with a crimson crayfish in its beak. A set of stunning images show the bird, which has an extravagant white crested hood and intense yellow eyes, shaking the large crayfish around in his beak to de-claw it. After shaking away the crustacean's claws for about five minutes, the small duck finally manages to eat his snack by engulfing the crayfish all in one go.

Onlookers spotted the snake slithering along the road and into the engine when the bus pulled over in a park in Bangkok, Thailand. Footage shows the driver carefully prizing open the bonnet before running off, leaving animal rescue workers to pull the cobra out. Thailand's Department of Conservation said they later released the snake back into the wild.

Professional wildlife snapper Pete Walkden captured these incredible images of a young otter chilling out on a seaweed covered rock on the Isle of Mull off Scotland's west coast. The cute creature was seemingly unaware of the lurking photographer as he tried to take nap during the day. 'They are forever looking for a place where they can give themselves a back scratch and keep their fur in good condition - they groom themselves to keep themselves in good nick', said Pete on otters.
