She's one of the most recognisable faces on British TV.

So it's no surprise that a pair of unsuspecting women were left with their mouths agape when Katie Price casually strolled up to them in a shopping mall acting like they had already met each other.

The 38-year-old Loose Women star wasn't purely chatting to strangers for fun - she was taking part in celebrity prank show Off Their Rockers, which started airing last week on ITV.

The former winner of Celebrity Big Brother was assisting regular Rocker Pam in duping two unsuspecting female shoppers.

She asks the girls if they wouldn't mind keeping an eye on her luggage while she heads to the bathroom to refresh her make up, ahead of a meeting with her agent.

'I feel better now I've done by make up. I'm going to meet my agent now,' she says breezily, as the girls stare at her in disbelief. 

And with that, Katie strolls off again.

The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here star is no stranger to having a laugh on TV.

She's a regular panelist on Loose Women and has cropped up on the likes of comedy game show Celebrity Juice.

Yesterday she took to Instagram to document the moment she got tattooed - for the ninth time.

Although its unknown what the tattoo is of, she revealed that it was placed onto her ankle and lower-leg region.

She admitted recently that while she loves most of her tattoos, there are certain ones she does regret - including the ode to ex-boyfriend Leandro Penna.

She told her fellow Loose Women hosts: 'Kieran [her husband] has a go at me all the time for having a Leo tattoo. He's like, "When are you going to cover that up?" I will but it's so painful.

'If you have it lasered off apparently it really hurts, so I'll have to cover it with something ... I won't get names any more, I had [ex-husband] Pete [on my wrist] and had to have it covered up with a rose.'

The inking marks one of several procedures this week for the former glamour model - who also headed to London's Harley Street on Wednesday for a spot of laser eye surgery.

Off Their Rockers episode two is on ITV this Sunday 13th November at 6:30pm.
