The engine of Donald Campbell's Bluebird has roared for the first time since the legendary speedboat racer died in the craft while attempting to beat the world speed record 50 years ago. Engineer Bill Smith raised the boat from Coniston Water in the Lake District in 2001 and he has been trying to rebuild the famous hydroplane since. Although getting the new engine to start is a major step to getting it back on the waters there is someone way to go before that landmark is achieved.

The footage, which appears in the next episode, was shot with camera traps in the Canadian Rockies and shows adult bears rubbing their backs and heads against the bark.

Dashcam vision has resurfaced of the heart-stopping moment a 25-tonne truck ploughed into a 4WD trailer on a dusty road near Normanton in rural Queensland. The 4WD swerves into the truck's path, whereupon the quick-thinking truck driver slowed down, giving the 4WD driver just enough time to move his out of the way as he slams directly into the trailer. Nobody was reportedly hurt in the accident, which took place on June 24 but has resurfaced this week on social media.
