Alex Wurman
Alex Wurman (born October 5, 1966) is an award-winning American composer who hails from Chicago.
Early Life & Career
He attended Oak Park and River Forest High School in Oak Park, Illinois and the Chicago Academy for the Arts. He went on to study at the University of Miami in Coral Gables and later the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. The Chicago native’s father, Hans Wurman, was an arranger and composer, who wowed the world of electronic music by recording music on the first Moog synthesizer. Wurman has written many film scores, including those for the Oscar-nominated documentary March of the Penguins, plus Hollywood Homicide, Criminal, Anchorman, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, What Doesn't Kill You, The Nines, Hero, The Switch, Unfinished Business, Run Fatboy Run, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, the contemporary interpretations of French impressionism in Thirteen Conversations About One Thing, the first season of Newsroom and Temple Grandin for which he won the 2010 Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special (Original Dramatic Score). He was previously nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2008 for Bernard and Doris.

The Marshall Mathers LP
The Marshall Mathers LP is the third studio album by American rapper Eminem. It was released on May 23, 2000, by Aftermath Records, Interscope Records, and Eminem's newly founded label, Shady Records in the United States, and on September 11, 2000, by Polydor Records in the United Kingdom. The album was produced mostly by Dr. Dre and Eminem, along with The 45 King, Bass Brothers, and Mel-Man. Released a year after Eminem's breakout album The Slim Shady LP, the record features more introspective lyricism including the rapper's response to his sudden rise to fame and controversy surrounding his lyrics.
The album sold more than 1.76 million copies in the US in the first week alone, becoming the fastest-selling studio album by any solo artist in American music history. This record was later broken after 15 years following the release of the album 25 by Adele, which sold over 2.433 million albums within three days of release in November 2015. In 2001, the album won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album and was nominated for Album of the Year. The album was certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America in March 2011 for shipping 10 million copies in the United States. By May 2015, the album had sold over 11 million copies in the United States and more than 32 million copies worldwide.

The Last Lions
The Last Lions is a 2011 African nature documentary film by National Geographic Society, videotaped and directed by Dereck and Beverly Joubert. The film premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in January 2011 and was released in select theaters on February 18, 2011. The film follows in the tradition of other National Geographic big cat films, such as India: Land of the Tiger and Eye of the Leopard.
The film documentary focuses on a lioness named Ma di Tau ("Mother of Lions") as she battles to protect her cubs against the daunting onslaught of enemies to ensure their survival. The underlying message of the film is on the low population of large cats in the world and whether or not Ma di Tau and her cubs are among the last lions. The film is narrated by Jeremy Irons, who voiced Scar in Disney's 1994 animated film The Lion King. Irons also narrated Eye of the Leopard, a 2006 National Geographic film.
Four years earlier, National Geographic released Super Pride, which was narrated by Lance Lewman. Disneynature released African Cats, a similar documentary film on April 22, 2011.

It includes a 25 minute documentary that I produced, filmed, and edited which gives viewers an informative insider look into the life of a roller coaster enthusiast. During this footage you will be able to view physical as well as computer simulated models I've designed/constructed, various memorabilia I've collected, and lastly my "roller coaster vacation" to Ohio in the summer of 2007 by visiting the American Coaster Enthusiast events Coaster Mania at Cedar Point in Sandusky and Coaster Con 30 at Kings Island outside of Cincinnati. Here is a roughly 35 minute presentation I gave in front of my entire High School, Blair Academy, during my senior year in May 2008. It includes a 25 minute documentary that I produced, filmed, and edited which gives viewers an informative insider look into the life of a roller coaster enthusiast. During this footage you will be able to view physical as well as computer simulated models I've designed/constructed, various memorabilia I've collected, and lastly my "roller coaster vacation" to Ohio in the summer of 2007 by visiting the American Coaster Enthusiast events Coaster Mania at Cedar Point in Sandusky and Coaster Con 30 at Kings Island outside of Cincinnati. The other 10 minutes of the video is of the actual speech I gave to the entire school focusing on how this passion came about, how I've applied it to my life during difficult times, my future goals in pursuing this passion, as well as how you yourself can discover your own passion.
Despite this entire presentation having occurred way back in May 2008, I thought I'd finally export it off the old DVD I have of it and immortalize it on Youtube for all of you to enjoy. I'd be happy to answer any and all questions you may have :)
