ALEC Baldwin could’ve been in a job at Saturday Night Live for the next four years, but according to his publicist, he may never reprise his role of president-elect Donald Trump.

Baldwin will not play Trump on this week’s episode of SNL and may not ever again, according to sources.

He first unrolled his Trump impression in October, when he and Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton recreated the first of three presidential debates.

Baldwin told WNYC’s The Brian Lehrer Show on Election day he was “trying to shed the Donald Trump cloak”.

He said he had almost sprained his jaw trying to mimic Trump’s enunciation.

“I’m not an impressionist, per se, but if you do any kind of comedy and they ask you to do that, most of the time, there’s some degree of appreciation, I think, involving somebody you like,” Baldwin added.

“Trump is somebody who, I don’t hate Trump, but he’s not somebody I admire, so it was more difficult.”

The actor did make his Trump impression on Friday while speaking at a marketing conference in Boston, Massachusetts.

“I think that Trump is going to be someone who is not going to be that involved, he’s going to be going into rooms with trusted advisers and they’re going to say, “We did this, this, this, and this,” Baldwin began in a video published by the Boston Globe.
