Teenager stabbed by fellow student at Perth high school

A 16-year old-boy has allegedly been stabbed by a 14-year-old boy after an altercation at Swan View Senior High School in Perth's east.

Police said the 16-year-old had been taken to Midland Health Campus for treatment to non-life threatening injuries consistent with a stab wound.

A 14-year-old boy has been taken into custody for questioning.

The incident happened in the early afternoon and police are now investigating.
