Farmer's partially burnt body found

JHANSI: The partially burnt body of a farmer with gunshot wounds on his head was found in Banda on Friday morning.
According to reports, one Akki, 35, native of Bagheta village in Banda district, had gone to his farm on Thursday night for irrigating his field. He stayed back in his farm in the night. On Friday morning the villagers found his his partly burnt body, and they informed the police.The police after reaching the spot sent the body for the postmortem.
On the other hand, Mukhtar, the deceased's father, suspects involvement of some fellow villagers in his son's murder who had an enmity with him.
SP Banda Mayaram said that a case has been lodged against unknown persons under section 302 of the IPC. "We are investigating all aspects of the murder", he added.farmer
