Founder and President of TheOutnet.com Stephanie Phair is joining online luxury shopping platform, Farfetch.

Farfetch has gone from being a marketplace for luxury stores to a multi-channel platform for retailers, brands and consumers and at a time when high fashion is going increasingly online, Phair says her aim at Farfetch will be to stay at the front of the game.

“Farfetch has revolutionised the way we buy fashion…innovation is at the core of the Farfetch business and there is so much opportunity to continue building the global platform for the fashion industry.”

Farfetch founder Jose Neves agrees, saying in a statement, “We believe this is the beginning of big changes to come in this industry. That is why it is critical we remain a revolutionary business with our minds clearly focused on innovation…While Farfetch’s strategy is clear, as a business we need to keep evolving and will benefit from Stephanie as a champion of innovation at the highest level.”

Phair has also worked as an executive board member at Net-a-Porter and has contributed to American Vogue. 

This year Farfetch has launched e-commerce for Manolo Blahnik, Christoper Lane and Yeezy season three. The technology is available in almost 190 countries and accessible in nine different languages.
