Crazy Couple is a 1979 Hong Kong martial arts comedy film directed by Ricky Lau and starring Dean Shek and Lau Ka-yung.
Plot: Street performer Cho brings his pet around to perform hoping to raise money to study martial arts. Retired martial arts master Chiu Chat-yeh has a mentally disabled daughter who is unattended and has Cho take care of her. Cho finds a girl from out of town named Piu-hung to take his spot as Chiu's daughter's caretaker and goes to study martial arts with the village's martial arts teacher, Kwan Yee-sai. Cho also befriends Kwan's son, Yan. One day, a group of bandits come and terrorize the village and Chiu and Kwan team up to resist them. Chiu has stolen jewelry in his house which is unexpectedly stolen by Piu-hung. Chiu and Kwan are killed later as well. Cho and Yan flee to many places and seek a teacher to mentor them in martial arts. With continuous twists and turns along the way, they finally find the real culprit behind the scenes.

Dean Shek (sometimes written Shek Tien) aka Dean Shek Tien (born 17 October 1950) is a veteran Hong Kong feature film actor and film producer with over 92 films acting credits to his name. Shek is perhaps best known as Professor Kai Hsien in 1978 film Drunken Master and Snooker in 1990 film Dragon from Russia.
Shek began his career as a contracted actor at Shaw Brothers Studio in 1968, making his first brief appearance in the film Twin Blades of Doom (1969). He received more substantial roles at Shaws, in musicals such as The Singing Killer, romantic films including A Time For Love (1970), comedies such as The Human Goddess (1972) and martial arts films such as The Fists of Vengeance (1972).
Shek left Shaw Brothers in 1973. The same year, he appeared in Master with Cracked Fingers, the first film to feature Jackie Chan in a starring role. He made his directorial debut in 1975 with The Monk, and worked as assistant director on Black Alice (1975), A Queen's Ransom (1976), Iron Fisted Monk (1977).

PLOT:
Sammo Hung makes his directorial debut with this period kung fu tale about rotund Husker who at the film's outset is humiliated by a band of Manchu thugs. Taking the advice of Tak (Chen Sing), a monk who comes to his rescue, Husker joins the legendary Shaolin Temple and hones his martial arts skills. After several years, he leaves the temple looking for revenge. He soon learns about a band of Manchus who terrorize local villagers and whose sadistic boss loves little more than raping village maidens. Husker soon joins forces with dye-worker Liang. When Liang rashly kills one of the Manchus, Husker gets pinned with the blame. When Husker manages to thwart a Manchu attack, the band goes after Liang's livelihood. Soon Tak and his friends come to the rescue
