Caroline Gladstone

Caroline Gladstone always wanted to write and travel from the days she was given an Olivetti typewriter at age 10 and a Speedwell bike a couple of years later. Her travels now take her on planes, trains and ships as well as cycles. She’s cruised on more than 50 ships – big, small, expedition, luxury and even cargo. Caroline has written Fodor’s guidebooks on Australia and the lovely isles of French Polynesia. Her love of vintage fashion and art deco style sees her take frequent trips to the Blue Mountains to stay in wonderful old hotels and poke around quirky shops.
